I've had my issues with Walmart over the past little while. But the trend of going to self checkout and shopping and delivering groceries to people waiting in their vehicles has put me over the top. Add the remodel to that where no one knows where anything is...it's become ridiculous. If I have taken the time and energy to get out of my vehicle to come into the store to shop then the priority should be on the shopper IN the store. Instead there are multiple giant blue carts always in the way as they are shopping for those waiting in their vehicles. So the in store shopper becomes just someone in the way. Well no more....I've finally had enough. Meijer is MUCH more friendly, more bright, better selection, better prices and the employees actually know where everything is.

Went shopping, lights out everywhere in the store. White Tile removed, you are walking on pure cement floor. Very hard on your feet. Store is dirty looking, dark even when the lights work, nothing on shelves, no one knows where anything is at. This remodel is a total disaster. The store was bright with the White tile. It is a shame they wantedthis warehouse look. It makes the clothes even look bad. I was very sad today when shopping what I could fine. Walmart is going down hill. So Sad.

Walmart is Walmart. I stop by here sometimes when I'm passing through or ina pinch. Great thing is their carts were all charged up and they got great movies. Cleanliness is hit and miss. Sometimes bathrooms are good and others they are gross. If you need something in a pinch it's the place to stop.

A typical walmart strange birds here, no food selection, produce is always rotted or nothing in stock. No registers ever opened only self check out and their machines don't work and the staff doesn't come over to fix them making u stand there for 5 years waiting to check out, I don't think their workers really know how to communicate with the public may be hard for some to talk since half of them have no teeth. Just a typical character filled walmart......

Sparking at this Salem location is great for extra money. Great staff and friendlyThe only thing is that the parking lot doesn't show you there because they are doing constriction at the actual PICK UP

Tried to return Christmas items, but was told they will not accept them after Christmas (or any holiday for that matter)!! If this information had been printed on any of my receipts, or there had been any signage in the store addressing this, I could be more understanding. But this seems very shady at best. If I had known about this, I would have made the effort to returns things before the holiday, regardless of the time crunch; and not knowing until that weekend that people were sick and not able to travel for the holidays. When I tried to call and speak with a manager about my disappointment over this unwritten policy, the phone rang unanswered for over 15 min. before it hung up on me. I am quite certain that the extension for guest services, is no more than a locked closet, with no known key, and a phone that merely rings answered, forever and ever and ever!!Shame on all the Walmart managers!! Sam Walden would be beyond devastated knowing how you people have destroyed his legacy!!If you are going to make policy changes that effect your paying customers, POST IT PLAINLY!! DONT LEAVE THEM WITH A BIGGER HOLE IN THEIR POCKETS!. Now, I am stuck with items I no longer nee

A while back, I had brought in my Fujifilm camera to get the pictures printed out. I had taken the camera on a trip with my friends and no phones were allowed so I took the camera. We brought the camera in, and they said they would let us know when the pictures were ready. We weren't contacted, so we went to see if they were ready. They told us they didn't have the camera or pictures. "Someone else had it," so they contacted the people who were supposed to have the camera, and they didn't have it. So I lost both my camera and my pictures that I will never get back. Recently, we went in to get some pictures from our phones printed. We got the receipt saying that the pictures would be ready in an hour. So we go back an hour later. We then were told that there were issues with the printing machine or something so it wouldn't be printing anything for a day or maybe longer. These weren't the only issues with the printing services. A few years back, I had to print pictures for a contest. We selected the photos and had them printed. When we received them, they all were blurry. It wasn't the pictures, it was the machine. The submission date for the photography contest was coming up, and we had blurry pictures. So we informed them about the issue, and they said the machine needed an update or something, so we had to go back and do the pictures all over again when the printer was fixed.

The service was okay the cashier was talking badly about other customers I didn't like that so much. She was polite to me but it makes you wonder what type of things she said when I walked away. This is a very non-diverse area. I didn't feel very comfortable here however I found everything I needed and transferred money easily there is a very long wait in the customer service line. They do not have a money station like larger Walmart. You have to wait in this insane line at customer service. They only have one worker in this area usually. Also getting a job here is like pulling teeth no one ever answers the phone I've been hung up on several times you don't know who does the hiring. It's a wonder they even have employees at all!

Lovely little winery in a quaint little town. They have a nice selection of wines & the appetizer food is good. I love it that they support local musicians & talent as well. It was a very nice night out.

Paid 400 for a futon with a 8inch mattress. Delivered with a 6 inch. Been through hell trying to make it right. Nothing but a run around trying to return for refund. Fedx can't pickup without mattress in original shrink wrapping. Been nothing but lies from Walmart.

The Salem Wal-Mart does not always do a great job of stocking items versus other stores. I shop here for some items as well as other local area businesses.I also upgraded my cell phone in the Walmart mobile department. I was very apprehensive about not going to the corporate store but took a chance. The authorized agents were very helpful and my transaction went smoothly. Thankfully I had a good experience this time.I posted some pictures of the mobile department and their hours in case you need to call to ask a question or to make a appointment in case they get busy but that’s probably not necessary.

Walmart continues to decline with poor customer service and rude staff. Several staff just standing around talking yet, only one register open. The girl watching self checkout is very rude. But, the CSM is just as rude. The staff standing around, doing nothing, haven't been trained on register, she says. I asked when my training was... 🙄

The blonde young girl at the self check out in the evening has a serious staring problem and made me feel super uncomfortable. If she’s going to lean up against the self checkout across from me and cross her arms and stare me down from start to finish and watch my every move, maybe she should come over and do all the work. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

GROCERY PICKUP:My wife leads a very active lifestyle: nurse, mother, photographer, etc. She is also pregnant and still working while taking care of our daughter. It is important that pickup and delivery services are reliable. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. Management at this Walmart location have been passive in addressing issues in their pickup service, and after waiting over an hour past her pickup time, her and many other customers still did not have their orders. We will not be using this service in the future at this location.

It's so frustrating to place an online order the day before and the system tells you that the items you want to order are available only to be told 12 hours later that the items are not available. What we truly needed I had to go to another store to get.

Bought food here at 11pm. Tried to eat it on comfy chairs at the product pickup lounge when it was closed. Was kicked out and told to eat on a bench by the assistant manager. After a long days work, wanted to stop here for food a relax. This has been a rotten experience. I hate Walmart corporation.

It’s time to get rid of the people standing at the door, wanting to check your receipts for things that “aren’t in a bag”. First of all I go there, and no registers are open except self check out. Things that aren’t in a bag have nothing to do with if they were rung up or not, you could easily put things in the bag that aren’t rung up yourself. Secondly, be happy that we’re doing you a favor by ringing out our own groceries so stop stopping us at the door. There’s a lady at the self check out watching us as it is.

The bakery was amazing with the cake I had them make for a family gathering it was delicious everyone said great job salem oh Walmart bakery you did well thank you! And a shout out to the cart attendant employees who do a great job keeping the parking lot shopping carts in their place and very helpful when asked!
