We love coming here for breakfast on Sunday morning. The cook and waitress are so friendly and welcoming.Limited seating, and majority is booth/bench seating.Walk in and seat yourself type place.Our favorite is the breakfast potato’s, try them extra crispy!

Just what we needed on a busy Sunday filled with youth basketball. A little step back in time a chance to slow down and enjoy a wonderful diner treat. I couldn't make up my mind between lunch and breakfast so I did both with the servers encouragement cheeseburger with an over easy egg side of home fries with sausage gravy. Nailed it!!!

If you haven't been here for breakfast then you absolutely have to stop in here and meet Erica! She is such a sweetheart and you definitely get the old school ice cream shop vibe as soon as you walk in. Sit at the counter and you'll think you got dinner and show with the girls!Kid-friendliness: The ladies make sure everyone feels at home especially kids! They stop to listen to their stories and treat them like family.

So sad this place has gone down hill. Used to be the best place to go for breakfast. Took us 2 hours from the time we walked in to the time we walked out for 3 people to get breakfast. There was a total of 11 people in the entire place. Only 1 person working. The poor lady took your order, cooked the food, refilled your drinks and everything. She literally could only serve 1 table at a time. Some guy came out of the back randomly to wipe of a table after people left. He could've easily refilled drinks and took orders.The prices were good. But the amount of food we got wasn't worth the price or the amount of time we waited. We tried to be patient because we honestly felt really bad for the lady. She never stopped working. Nothing was her fault that day. Just poorly ran. Really sad.

I would give no stars if I could. We just moved to Salem and thought we would go out and enjoy one of the local restaurants…. Wrong. This was the worst service I ever had. Finally when we hit the hour mark of being there we decided to get up and leave as I was unsure when we would actually receive our food. We ordered breakfast food, something that should have taken 10-15 minutes. If they were busy I would’ve understood but there was only one other person in there and now we know why. Please don’t waste your money or your time you won’t be impressed.

Older and a little care worn older style diner. Don't expect shiny freshly painted surfaces. This doesn't mean that it's dirty. I stopped for an early breakfast. No one else in town was open yet, except perhaps fast food places. I got the biscuits and gravy ( was kind of craving it) and it was definitely scratch made and delicious. Hard to find house made biscuits and gravy anywhere these days. As a cook and entrepreneur I know canned gravy when I taste it and this certainly was not canned. Not disappointed in the least.

Hands down the best home made food and best service in Salem! My daughter and I stopped in for lunch last Friday and the waitress asked what we were up to for the day. My daughter told her we had just got done w kindergarten screening for her and that she is officially a United Eagle ❤ the waitress was so sweet as was the cook who made her a lot of silver dollar pancakes and then they gave her a free scoop of her favorite ice cream! We loved it so much we went back today for mothers day breakfast w my mother in law, my sister and neice and nephew! I will continue to go here and recommend it to everyone!

If you find a way to not like this place, then you don't like good diner food, or the diner experience in general. It's the best breakfast in town, and the only thing better than the food is the staff. I've been here countless times and have never had a bad plate of food or service without a smile along with good conversation. A+ every time.

This was the first time I've ordered breakfast and the biscuits & sausage gravy is awesome. I always order a grilled chicken salad for lunch and ,after adding fries, it's nearly $10... I feel that's a little expensive, but I keep ordering it because it's good. I advise against the steak salad, though... it's a processed beef patty.

The people her are so friendly and their food is amazing. The Ice Cream parlor has a down home fill to it that I absolutely love. My fiance and I will be coming back. They also have swiss burgers 🤩 mouth watering swiss burgers.

Stopped in for ice cream. Everything was good, variety of ice cream was limited. Yes I was there yesterday, you have a garbage can between the window and ice cream freezer. Waitress that waited on us was very nice dark hair with tattoos. After we left your place we stopped at the bottle shop couple doors down. We travel everywhere every weekend difference areas.
