Went in to purchase some toiletries and a drink I am from out of town on business asked to use the restroom as I've done at Dollar General all over the country with no problem and great service this person was extremely rude and said they do not have public bathrooms. So I decided not to purchase any Goods as I was extremely turned off with her rudeness and arrogance and will not patronize again

This reveiw is more for the district manager Irene.. she denied me work. I have a 13 year old misdameanor for harassment,13 years old. But I'm a hard fast worker .other than that in the 13 years?, totally clear, i been perfect. And ohio is only to go back 7 years but she asked for a lifetime check. Yet i asked other managers at dg in the district an they have people there with charges and recent charges. And one lady down in the plaza in salem beside tractor supply that goes super slow where you can obviously tell shes off downers blonde girl with short shoulder length hair, . Yet won't hire me? That is insane.

Terrible customer service!!!... It's time to re-train.. They don't know their merchandise knor do they know where to tell you to look for something if you can't find it. They don't even know whats on sale and didn't even offer to scan the item to tell me how much it cost... It's ridiculous!!!

They didn't have any of the items for the Ibotta coupons but that's on I Ibotta. If however anyone you come in contact with is high risk for covid I would avoid this store because none off the employees wear masks (at least not for the last month.)

Visited newest store on N. Ellsworth in Salem. Well-stocked and Covid compliant. Used self-checkout with no problems. Will shop there again.

Nothing has the correct prices on it. The shelves are out of order and over crowded. Sales people are rude and unhelpful.
