I posted updated menu items and prices I saw the last good picture of the prices was from 4 years ago. I am a big hot dog fan and these are perfectly good with nothing on them I always feel with food like steaks and burgers and hotdogs the best ones are the ones you don't have to put anything on. In my opinion these hot dogs are amazing and always have been. That was a little bit of a run-on sentence but I use speak to text. I honestly have never had their burgers or the fish sandwich. I am a creature of habit the fair fries are amazing always again the hot dogs are awesome. Chili dogs are wonderful too, the chilly is definitely no slouch!Parking: Part of a shopping plaza but about 12 to 16 spots available also a drive-thru. Parking is directly in front of the shop

This is a fun lil joint for grabbing something quick to eat. The hot dogs aren't quite amazing but their hot dogs. Decent though. The chili is pretty good and the fries are made in house. I regret not grabbing chili fries but that was an after though. Them chili fries look like they are the bomb and a must try here. Definitely worth a second trip.

Place is the best around for hot dogs, by far. Usually are very consistent, don't interrupt the heck out of you when you order, and has only made a mistake once which they apologized profusely for. I appreciate the work that is done here that keeps this place in top shape. Management seems to be doing a great job.

I have always loved the hds. Well I would drive from Cleveland to the east Liverpool well they sold it to New owners and it's gross now. So everyone has said try the one by Salem well today I did and it's worse then the elo store. Couldn't even eat it was gaging. Do not recommend at all. Will never make the drive again.

I know it's a hot dog shop but their burgers are phenomenal! Freshly made and generous toppings. Our go-to place for burgers in Salem. And the prices can't be beat! Well done!

-Food:Some of the best burgers, and chili cheese fries you'll find in the area! The hot dogs are...well, hot dogs. Nothing special (in my humble opinion). The burgers remind me of a Steak 'n Shake burger in size and texture. Very tasty.-Prices:While the food is delicious, you have to remember the saying, "All good things come with a price." And the better the thing the bigger the price, I would add. If you're a classic American and can put away at least two burgers and a chili cheese fry with a drink, then you might be surprised with how much cash you drop. Balance that reality with the fact that it is one of the best burger joints in the area. So maybe they deserve it!

The service was outstanding. We went on a Sunday and they had full service and the women running it are in complete sync. Food was the best I've had from a Hot Dog Shoppe in years. I was blown away and my entire family left raving about our experience.
