I absolutely love this Aldi's. The staff has always been friendly, even before they put in the self check out lanes. The store is always clean and put together. Rarely can I not find what I went for. Most of all how can you beat the prices? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Found everything I was looking for. Shelves were full. Stocked up on Choquer's big chocolate bars for stocking stuffers.. there are so many different kinds and the chocolate is excellent. Under $2.50 each!!

Tried to call in to see if they had a certain item in stock and got a recording saying all their stores' numbers are unlisted to save time and money and to go online to contact customer service for information on stores... 🙄 Seriously...? I'm at work and just wanted to see if I should go to their store before heading home for the night... Nevermind, I just won't go I guess.

Always shop at Aldis, fresh produce and great food there. Being’s that my husband is retired and I am new to retirement myself, we shop there even more, probably about 70% of our groceries come from there. Today; July 25th, 2023, I ran into a slight problem, I didn’t have enough on my debit card for all my groceries. My total came to $180, I used my debit card for $160 and wanted to pay the balance with my cash, however the machine wasn’t able to do that. Feeling upset, and somewhat embarrassed, I was told by one person, I had to un bag all my items and go through the cash line. My husband was very upset about the one man’s attitude ( remain nameless) towards it was, so he walked outside and waited for fear he would say something to make matters worse. Another young man Austin, came over and asked what was wrong, I explained the situation, and he was very apologetic and explained to me that the machines were in the process of updating to be able to transfer the sale to another register, but was not in effect yet. He looked at the screen and said, you only owe $20? I said yes, apparently I didn’t have enough on my debit card but didn’t know I was short so I could only pay $160 on my debit card but have the rest in cash. He said, it’s only $20? That’s not a problem. Austin (the associate at Salem Ohio Aldis) got out his wallet and never hesitated and swiped his debit card for the remainder of the bill, and said there ya go, have a wonderful day. I tried to give him the cash and he kept refusing to take it, he said take it as a blessing. And a blessing it was. Although I had the rest in cash to pay my bill, the kindness, the thoughtfulness and love he showed to help me was indeed a blessing. I said a prayer for him when I got home because my husband and I talked about it the whole way home, and being that my husband is a veteran of the Marine Corps, suffers with PTSD and anxiety, he was still upset how the one young man was not very polite and helpful, and I had to explain to him, you have to ignore the negative and look at the positive, it was not necessary that Austin pay the remainder of our bill, but without a second thought, he did!!! Austin is definitely one of the other reasons to make me continue to do my shopping at Salem Ohio Aldis instead of elsewhere. Everyone is always very nice when we go there, and we definitely appreciate the great food with lower prices than other places. Austin, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a kind and caring person, I pray that God blesses you and you are certainly an inspiration person to paying it forward. God bless always! And Salem ALDIs; I hope you know what a great member he is to your team thank you again Austin ❤️

I love shopping here, they also have a large selection of food and produce. The workers are always very kind and very helpful when you need something. I also love the curbside pickup, it makes it a very quick and good experience. 10/10 shop here if you want good quality food and a great selection. I love AlDI, just remember to bring a quarter when you come because the shopping carts requires one to take, don't worry you get it back when your done shopping

Prices going up as much as everywhere else. 3 Aldi bags & 2 gallons of milk easily blew a $100 bill to shreds. Self checkout is credit/debit only. If they check you out it'll be cash only.

I shop here a lot and you can get reasonably priced food items but I was really upset to hear a manager shaming a customer for their appearance to another employee and them both laughing about it. Please fix this.

Great shopping experience .they have a good selection of produce .Atmosphere is like a warehouse with hardworking and helpfulStore associates .There are household itemsEven some knock down furniture .the sellout merchandise is a treat for the bargain hunter .its good to get familiar with the layout of the store .Its amazing what the associates are expected to know .Not really comfortable with the store remodel yet .its clean well stocked and prices are reasonable. Location is great the traffic lightHas made the store more accessible .

Has it changed, yes it has!! They put in those stupid self checkouts..there is only one cashier if it goes to no cashiers I will not shop there!!.. those are not a good thing for elderly people. I understand that they'll help if you need it ,just get rid of them...

Very rude at the checkout- the cashier rudely pushed my cart away out of reach before I could even get my purse and bag out of the cart- said she was being timed. Also an employee grabbed the few items I had and took them over to another register when I said I was fine where I was - there only two of us in line- totally ignored me.

I would give this five stars because I love this store except for the fact that their organic selection,fresh and canned, is so limited. They actually discontinued organic grapes; they only have three organic beans, which are so good but none of them are white; one type of canned tomatoes, chopped -- again good but what about crushed or paste; no organic canned fruit; and they have their canned section, which is very busy right across from their produce, which is also very busy and leads to a bottleneck every time I'm there. They missed an opportunity to increase the size of their store when remodeled last year. I do like the organic veggies they carry, fair-trade and European chocolates, organic quinoa, gf selections, organic sprouted wheat bread, berries, cheeses, and special items. Cashier's are helpful and pleasant while stockers have nasty attitudes. I feel the lines at this store tend to move fairly quickly.UPDATE: I understand that times are rough during COVID for the service industry. But I was recently treated in an aggressive manner by a cashier, a young man who was trying to pressure customers into crowding unsafely together in the line -- he had three customers crowded up in the checkout line ahead of me. When I got to the register, I refused to be crowded. The young man kept harassing and pressuring me to move up unsafely in line. When his verbal bullying didn't work, he took my nacho chips, bread, and other delicate items and shoved them hard up the conveyor belt. Funny thing was...his antics were what was holding things up because I had a full buggy, and therefore, a full conveyor belt, so it wouldn't have mattered if I'd moved up or not because the people had to wait for him to begin ringing -- but he was too busy bullying me. I didn't say much to him since he was acting pretty crazy...I just wanted out of there. After I checked out, he was ridiculing me to other customers as I bagged my groceries. I reported him to ALDI but they never responded. I was a cashier back in the day and understand how stressful it was then and it has to be way worse now. I'm so grateful for how they've continued to work and always treat them kindly and commiserate with them, especially when I can tell they're having a bad day, but this guy seemed far beyond a bad day and appeared to have severe emotional issues. I could one day see him completely wiggling out and possibly hurting someone. I gave one star due to poor customer service from the top down.

1st time there since they re-opened. Very clean, great selection, friendly employees, and great prices! Love the interior, it's more inviting and more relaxing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere! Very nice!
