Disappointed. Drove 45 minutes to walk into a store that only has a few rows of dollar tree items. Those were mostly as soon as you walk in. I had to walk fast through them because the store smelled like cigarettes so bad!! Wont go back! Women want craft items, lots of books and food items from the dollar tree! Dollar tree needs to get it together! They used to be awesome!

I have shopped at this Family Dollar many times previously without an incident, but upon entering the store to shop for an Instacart customer order I was approached by an older female clerk with glasses (no name badge present) who starting profiling me and asked me what I was doing. I told her I was doing an instacart and she walked away. At checkout I questioned her why she asked me that, and she said she watches everyone and I was acting suspicious, but gave no specifics as to why she thought this. I have never had this problem anywhere before and certainly never been profiled. I have bever been insulted like this my entire life. I have 17 years of retail experience and I have never been treated this badly by a store clerk. If you enjoy getting profiled for no reason, by all means shop here! Worst customer service anywhere hands down!

Yesterday evening I took my 9-year-old son to family Dollar to spend a couple of dollars that he had been saved. We only had about 10 minutes to shop given that they were closed. As I proceeded to gather things that I needed he went in search of toys. He only have $5 but was in charge of Pokemon items. Even at this late hour as they were beginning to close staff was still courteous to him and helped him with the pricing of the items he was looking at. Of course the items he wanted exceeded his pocket money. Out of the kindness of their heart two different employees each bought him one of the items he was looking at. not only did they buy him pokémon cards they bought him a stuffed Pokemon plushie as well. I wish I had gotten their names to publicly thank them but out of that act of kindness I will now be doing the majority of my shopping there instead of the surrounding stores. Thank you to the two ladies who are so generous.

Love this store. It's nice and clean. You can get down the aisles. Everything stock. The employees their are nice and friendly. Great service. A whole lot better then Dollar General Stores. Glad Family Dollar/Dollar Tree is at Indian Lake 😁.

Generally I love this store but the lady working tonight claimining to be "manager" made a complete scene in the store claiming my money was counterfeit. We requested for her to check and she refused and said her boss hasn't updated to that yet and said Pens can also be wrong and that atms can give out counterfeit money...This lady took the other 50 we had out to compare for her and she snatched the othe 50 and said "this will work" even tho we told her nevermind on the sale.We went to the gas station after, used the same 50, they scanned it... Twice.Honestly, the fit she threw and everyone watching her throw her hands up, was embarrassing.

Newly opened store with Dollar Tree located within the Family Dollar store. Genius!! So happy that Family Dollar came back to Indian Lake. Much better, cleaner, more organized than ANY Dollar General. Yea!!!

Shelves are often empty. Plenty of parking. Prices are higher than DG or even Amazon. Just go there for a quick trip if you forgot or run out of something.
