Got in line at the drive through, one car ahead of me, ordered to medium twist cones, they were sorry but they were out of chocolate ice cream, ordered two vanilla cones, waited 20 minutes behind the first car, paid at the window, another gal told us they were out of vanilla ice cream and it would take five or more minutes longer to get our order ready. Asked for my money back and it took another 5 minutes for that to happen as the window gal told the manager that another customer wants their money refunded. Very friendly people, terrible service, can't comment on the product, never got it!!! Very poorly managed!!

I haven't had any problems before today with DQ. I went through the drive thru at about 10:45am. My order was pretty simple. 4 pc chicken basket, Flamethrower combo and pretzel sticks. I'm not complaining about waiting for my order to be made. I knew it would take time. I'm complaining about how my order was made. The chicken strips were great. They did not give me my BBQ dip for them though. The pretzel sticks comes with Queso....which I did not receive and the pretzels had so much salt on them I had to remove it to eat them. Now the Flamethrower sandwich had so much sauce on it it was all over the top of the bun, all over the inside of the box...not just a little there was big globs of it. Like who makes someone's food like that???!!! This has me rethinking ever going back to DQ. I rather go to McDonald's!!!!

Not a very good start to opening back up. Waited in line for 25 minutes, they got my order incorrect, didn't offer me a drink tray, when they did put them in one after I asked, they were hanging out and trying to catch it, got my fingers in the whipped cream. Didn't offer to make it up. Selection is slim, burgers and dogs. No shredded chicken, mushrooms, etc. Edit, ordered the mint brownie blizzard and they gave me vanilla.

After being closed for so long the first trip after reopening was a disappointment. The drive thru is still at turtle speed. Ordered 2 peanut buster parfaits and the first one had obviously been sitting because it was melted and when asked if this was how it was supposed to be the answer was the hot fudge melts the ice cream "hun". Another minute later the second one was handed out and it had no melted ice cream. Huh! The ice cream itself tastes more like ice than cream. It doesn't even look the same color as it did. The reason we like DQ is because of the taste of the ice cream but if it tastes like this at all DQ's we will find somewhere else to go.

Do not go these kids don't talk to you let alone get fresh food right I'll never go back not many choices here sorry I ask for a burger and fries no tomatoes or onions everytime it's messed up fries or nasty foods just a mess that's cold registers guy where's gloves that are just dirty I'm good FIRED

Don't bother ordering hot food here. Usually don't have someone who can run the grill. And don't even think about ordering a blizzard that's medium or large. Only top inch or two is actually a blizzard rest is plain ice cream. Near everytime, only reason we stop by here anymore is for kids and even then they only get plain twist cones.

Today I had the worst customer service experience ever. I was ordering a kids meal chicken stip for my daughter who I had just picked up from school who is usually hungry after school. normally I would take her home and make her an after school snack but today we had errands to run so something quick would do. When I approached the drive thru I noticed there was a handwritten sign saying they were unable to serve "baskets" at this time. I went on to order a 2piece kids chicken tender meal. Kara told me I was not able to order that meal. I asked her why and she rudely told me her boss said they cannot sell chicken strip baskets because they have no baskets to put them in. I explained that the kids meal is not a basket they put the tenders in the fry boxes and put them in the kids bag. she still said no that I was not able to order that. so she recommended that I order a chicken strip sandwich and regular fry on the side. I was confused so I asked how did that make any sense? if they had the fry boxes for the regular fries then how come they couldn't make the 2 piece kids meal since that is the container they come in. she continues to belittle me and have a horrible tone with her voice so I leave... as I'm pulling away I see a man hanging out of the back door laughing and another man approaching him from the parking lot, so I rolled down my window and asked if there was a manager I could speak to. he confirmed he was the "general manager" and asked what he could do. I explained the situation and told him I am a local and often dine at this restaurant (there isn't many to choose from at the lake). He was more rude than Kara taking my order. he said he is following rules that corporate gave him and they could shut down his business if he allowed them to Sell me a kids meal.remember the sign only said 4 and 6 piece baskets.they have tenders, they have fry boxes, they have fries.. everything I needed for a kids meal.so after he rudely told me multiple times that he would not help me I tried to teach him about what it means to have good customer service and he wanted no part in that conversation. he said he's just following orders and he is following rules. he said he's never broken a rule in his life.I'm sad.. I'm hurt.. the world is already a mess and people are so unkind. but to have people act this way in your own community makes me upset. I'm someone who is kind to almost everyone I meet and to be treated this way at a local restaurant is unexcusable. this is not the first time being talked to this way, but it is the last for me. I will not be back and neither will my family.Completely unrelated the food is no good. Never fresh. And blizzards rarely mixed all the way through.

They only have their drive up open and once you get in line at the drive up you cannot leave that line they've got you blocked in we cannot get out they must do this because they know they're going to have you set in that line for a half hour 40 minutes just to get two ice cream cones I spent more burning gas in the line then I pay for the ice cream cones. And they was rude they act like they was doing me a favor.Need to open the lobby I know I will not be back until it has been and then we'll see how the lobby does

Sat in the drive-thru for over 30 minutes to pick up an order that was placed online (lobby was closed). I had to ask for our second drink and sundae, and a drink holder. The slushies were half-melted and dripping. Those who ordered chili dogs said the chili was so disgusting they couldn’t even eat their food.

Still not allowing people inside for service.The drive through is not designed for pulling a trailer through or a full size truck.The service was good, the milkshake better, and leaving with my truck and trailer was tough.Features: Not Covid related, the service was rather slow due to lack of workers.

Food gave both of us stomach cramps, couldn’t even eat half of it. I don’t even know the last time any fast food I had was that awful. The wait in the drive through sucked as well. Don’t waste your time and money here

Don't go on a Saturday evening. They seemed to be short staffed and the wait was over 30 minutes after you placed your order. Then the salted Carmel truffle Blizzard was very skimpy on the extras. It was basically vanilla ice cream in a cup.Went back on Tues evening, much quicker service and Blizzard was what it was supposed to be.

Was very busy, but worth the wait. Got the NY strawberry cheese quake. It was the best one I have ever had. The staff was still very friendly even though they were packed!

Went to DQ last night and waited AN HOUR in line to get an incorrect order. We returned it for ... another incorrect order but since we had already waited an hour I sucked it up and ate what I was given. People in front of me even had duplicate orders. I understand summer is a busy time but if the cashiers can’t handle that kind of volume they should not be put in that position. An hour to be in line is not an acceptable wait time.

Very disappointed to be told that foot long coney dogs and hot dogs have been discontinued. Will probably patronize Dairy Queen less and other places more as a result of this menu change. Many other similar places still offer foot long coney and hot dogs.

The employees were not to friendly. Not unfriendly just didn't make us feel welcomed. Although they were having trouble with this vanilla ice cream machine. My husband ordered a medium cone and sure wasn't medium, more like a medium cone with small size ice cream.

Had six onion rings in large order and the coney dog sauce taste like from a can and not much on dog. Asked for mustard packets and they just put mustard on Coney dog.. not enough mustard.

Had a rude woman at the drive thru. Ask them if they still flipped the blizzards (witch they didnt do). The rude woman sarcastically said "nope" then shut the window on my family. This was after our order was messed up. Seemed as if the staff wanted nothing to do with the customer... or they were high. Service has never been great at this location but this was a whole new level. Needless to say they have lost a lot of business from me and my relatives. We aren't ever going there again...

Typical DQ food. Good and convenient when traveling. The lady who gave us our food was very nice. The lady who took our order needs some training on friendly customer service. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

The wait ! Please ! Ridiculous. When people order food that takes a while why on earth do you keep them at the window, the parking lot is empty !! Move them to the parking lot and bring their food to them versus keeping the rest of us sitting for over A HALF HOUR

Waited 17 minutes at the Russels Point DQ. Nobody was taking any orders. Cars were backed up to the McDonald’s wanting ice cream. People standing outside and nobody taking order. Let’s start a go fund me account and buy a Dairy Queen. What is needed at Indian Lake break great price for a Dairy Queen

The place is dirty and shabby with unknown liquid seeping onto the floor from the trash receptacle. My wife and I witnessed the manager tell a customer that she "didn't have time to give him a discount because there were too many cars in the drive thru". Apparently customer service and basic cleaning is not something the owner expects and encourages out of his employees.

Look elsewhere. Only one in drive thru and waited 20 minutes and no one would come to the window at 4:00 pm on a Friday after we paid. Fraud reported for charge. So bizarre.
