Typically very nice staff, kept clean. Today tho: at 840pm (busy week) it was locked. The sign said closes at 10pm. All the lights were on and a truck in the parking lot. Waited @5 minutes and nothing.ed a few minutes

Store manager Alicia is God awful. Was rude and smart mouth my whole visit. Seen her talk and be short with other customers. But her back and forth with me was what lead to this review. "I'm not the 1" and "You look dirty" "I am the manager" was her response. So if u see this that's not a flex and if u hate yo job that much to be there QUIT. Ig they just let people insult customers become managers now I would definitely remove her from that position. Especially with Breathe like hers the nerve.

Love the Dollar Store on State Route 44 next to Giant Eagle. Manager is great and always helpful. Store is clean and well stocked. Staff is nice and never gets mad if you come in right before they close in a hurry.

The staff keep it well organized and clean. I hit up the dollar store about twice a week and this one is the one I prefer. It's hard to feel clean with everything that's going on right now, but this store makes me not feel guilty about going in and shopping. That's rare and worthwhile with everything that's going on these days. Thank you for that.

It's nice the store manager is pretty helpful he always greets me. I gave 4 stars cause 2 times they didn't have what I needed. A thermometer and nail fungus stuff. But they got them in shortly after.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that when I walked in tonight, the place looked like it had been raided. It looked post apocalyptic. Next to nothing on the shelves, trash and items all over the floor. Cashier was in her pajamas. It was an absolute mess.

The fire department should go in there and do an inspection...The isles are blocked with carts and boxes. The employee was smoking in the store. The warm milk was sitting in crates outside of the refrigerator section. I won't be back.

I am not from the area and the assistant manager jhordan was so amazing. She works hard and is so good at her job. I was passing through rootstown n stopped at that location. She stopped what she was doing and went out of her way to take care of my question. She truly has a heart of gold and kind soul. She even helped with a coupon I was unaware of. SHE SAVED ME MONEY and time.. If someone from corporate sees this, that girl is so deserving of a raise. Store was stocked and very clean.

If I could rate a ZERO I would. Keith the manager or owner ? Never could get a clear answer. Is Extremely rude. I was walked in today and went to check out it was a young man ringing me out. I just started couponing so I’m a beginner and as he told me the total, I knew it was wrong that I had forgot to clip a coupon or maybe grabbed a wrong product. I had asked if he could just void out the transaction so I can go off to the side and figure out what I did wrong. So Keith had to come to the cash register and void it. Off the bat he’s annoyed and rude by his facial expressions and tone of voice. As I was walking away Keith said “that’s the lady that drive us nuts last time” ! Clear as day.. I am a customer ! Just trying to coupon all I did was ask nicely to void the transaction so he can continue to ring out other customers !

Clerk was less than welcoming. Was difficult to get through aisles. When husband and I were discussing trying to find an item with two employees (one a manager/asst manager) no one offered help.

This is a great store the staff is always really nice. The only thing is it is always disorganized. Boxes are always piled everywhere. Making it very difficult to get around the store. I think the store might be out growing its location. With the population growing the store just can't keep up.

Browsing here is fun, as you never know what new products you might find. Holidays bring items not found in other stores.prices are good and I like to purchase crafty items for grandkids. Merchandise changes frequently, clerks are friendly.

This dollar general will take time out and make the costumer feel welcome. Rather handicap or not. Need something thst us up out of reach? No prob they glady get it down. In a wheel chair and need more room to get to something? No prob. They move what is needed for costumer to get around.

Best DG in the state by far! Friendly and helpful staff! Stores always clean and merchandise neat and organized! I drive out of my way and past my towns DG to shop here!

I'm not a huge fan of Dollar Generals normally, since I find a lot of their stuff to actually be more expensive than you expect. That being said, there really aren't a lot of options in Rootstown, and the people who work here are honestly really nice, so I find it hard to complain about this specific location.

Stopped here randomly to kill time. Found a cute Ohio State license plate for my car. We live in TN so we don't have front plates. I was pretty happy.

It must be company policy to make sure ALL Isles are filled with carts and racks so you either have to make your way around them or find an alternate way around. All of the stores I've been in are like this. They are a flippin maze.
