I had a not great experience with a groom but then the new Salon Lead, Christina, reached out and offered to make it right. Not only was she so kind, she explained why things were different with our groom. She then fixed up our dog and made her look absolutely perfect. I highly recommend her and if you have questions on wheat you need done she can guide you on what you need to do. I appreciate how kind she was.

Went to purchase fish from the fish tank area and the tall guy who works in the aquarium section was super rude and condescending. He seem like he doesn't enjoy his job...I notice that other past clients had an issue with him. Upper management needs to do something about this guy..

I was there to purchase fish for my tank and was dealing with one of the workers in the aquarium section and he was so rude. Constantly talking down to me and grilling me about my tank set up at home. I wanted two goldfish for my 30 gallon tank and said that was too small and to read the sign. He did give me useful information, but he was VERY rude about it. I see that this is not the first time this has happened at this location. Maybe instead of trying to embarrass and shame people...educate? It really isn't hard to be kind.

Every time i take my dog here its always hidden fees they won’t tell you about unless you ask if you don’t ask they just hand you the receipt and tell you to take it to the front counter and they get mad when you have questions, they want to charge you extra for things but don’t expect you to question it worse location i dealt with won’t play me wrong one will go else where for now on

The tall guy in the aquarium area refuse to sell me a small cichlid He wanted to drive 15 miles back home to get him a water sample from a tank I’ve had setup for 2years. So I won’t be buying fish here. I’d rather go to Pet supplies plus or another location.

My 2 furbaby canines go for grooming here almost every 2-3 weeks. I trust everyone there, haven't had a bad experience in the year we've been going here. I also shop here after I've dropped them off, it's convenient and they are never out of stock.

I had a cashier and another employee who very cheerfully helped me with different items, including returning my purse when I got distracted by my puppy.At the groomers, I was treated with a helpful, cheerful attitude, even though I was a walk-in for a puppy nail trim.

The cashier said hello right way when I walked in with my group I work for Goodwill Columbus I had the group look st cats fish birds some lizards that were all sleeping .the store was very clean when we were leaving the cashier said goodbye have a great day while the group walked out he door.

We got our dog groomed here this past weekend and oh my Atlanta it is HORRIBLE. Completely uneven. There are marks of his skin where the cut his skin. Double thumbs down!

Ran short of my primary cat food that I mix with other flavors each day. The salesperson declined to check their stock and the same when I offered ro call back in an hour or two if it was too busy just then. Usually in the past the staff would generally in the past they have checked for me.

When there is a customer checking out with multiple boxes full of cat food cans and even more stuff (which this is not the customers fault) how about open another cashier instead of watching the line get longer to the point there’s 7 others in line waiting. And what is WORSE is one person waiting is an employee so they go to the groomers and have a groomer open another cashier and cash them out and then the groomer LEAVES does not check anyone out besides her.Point is, open another cashier when there is more then 5 people waiting in line.

I called before I went here, to ask if they had my prescription cat food, they said they had the exact bag I was looking for(mind you I live 25 mins away) & I asked 5 different times to make sure it was the exact kind. When I went in, they didn’t have it!! The cashier then tried to sell me on a different bag of cat food, he told me “it’s the same” when he HAD NO IDEA if it actually was or wasn’t(it wasn’t). It was the worst experience.

PetSmart is one of the few only places in Columbus that you can go and get crickets. I also get cats litter and food from there as well most of the time. But this location needs to hire more conscientious employees that are able to use a register. Every single time it doesn't matter when I go the lines always a mile long because there's one person checking out everybody with all their stuff. So if you're ever in a hurry this location is not idea. Maybe consider training more employees to be aware of customers standing in line and have them trained on the registers. Other than that everyone is always nice and are very knowledgeable on pretty much anything in that store. The employees are very nice and treat you with respect.

Today I had the WORST experience with the manager Angie. I have never had a bad experience at this location before I have been going here for 5 years now. My family and I are animal lovers through and through. I went to surprise my 10yr daughter with a couple goldfish after getting out of the hospital. I grew up with fish my entire life and I know how to care for them and what they need. I already have a huge tank at home but I wanted to get another smaller one in addition. When I got to the register Angie started grilling me like I was a child about goldfish. I am a 40yr old mother with children in college so to say I was offended is an understatement. However I obliged and let her know that I did have a tank at home and I was purchasing a second smaller one for temporary keeping.She look me in the face and said “I’m sorry I can’t consciously sell you these two .20 goldfish because I don’t believe you can take care of them” as she put them off to the side of her as if she was protecting them from me like I was a monster. Since when did employees at PetSmart feel it is okay to judge someone’s ability to care for a goldfish without merit?????? Then to embarrass me and make me feel like I was being falsely judged as if I was purchasing them just to kill them. As a regular customer of 5 years, I have bought lizards, Guinea pigs taken my Pomeranians for grooming and to the vet there and I have NEVER been treated the way I was treated today. I have never been made to feel less than by anyone there.All of my pets are well taken care of and spoiled if I might add. Angie started lying to me saying I would have to have the tank set up already at home then I’d have to WAIT 24HOURS to introduce them to the water. Which I called her out on because anytime you’re introducing a fish to a new tank it never takes 24hrs. I look at her and started questioning her methods and reasoning behind denying me the opportunity to purchase the fish along with the $100 worth of items for the fish, and my other pets at home. After I began questioning her she continued to treat me like a child, then I questioned her again and she just started ringing me up and didn’t say anything else about it.It was awkward because at this point I felt completely discriminated against, offended, disrespected, uncomfortable and made to feel like a child that was doing something wrong. All this because I wanted to surprise my sick daughter with goldfish. I was happy when I walked in and by the time I left my anxiety hit the roof so I had to take a moment before walking into the house to collect myself due to this awful experience that should have never happened to me. Angie is NOT a good manager here and her methods are unconscionable.

Love to go in and get stuff for my fur baby. My only issue is cost. This was my initial review, but...I also use there grooming services.My mother used them for 10 years for her pup and had no issues so I decided to use them also. March 31st would have been my 2d time getting my pup groomed with them. Had a 1:30 pm appointment and went 15 minutes early so I would be on time. When I got there, there was another customer in grooming area with her pet and was told only one pet parent at a time was allowed in check-in area. They asked that I I step out until they were done with her. I said no problem and step outside of door to wait. We walked around the store for about 10 minutes and came back, but the other customer was still there. I decided to step outside to let my pup get some fresh air and a "gentleman" walked pass me with 2 large breed dogs and went into the grooming area. I "assumed' they would tell him the same thing and he would have to come out and wait with me to go in. I went back to stand by the grooming entrance as not to loose my place in line waiting on the person who just went in to come back out. They never had the "gentleman" with the 2 large breed dogs come back out. I stood there and watch them check him in and take his dogs back to be groomed. I'm not one to play the "race card, but I am a senior Black woman, and he was a young Caucasian male. This really made me feel some kind of way. I left at 1:50pm and called to cancel and tell them how what they did made me feel, and the person told me that what I had just witnessed didn't happen and that they were looking for me. I will never use there service again. I'm stuck using Banfield because I paid for a 1 year Pet service Plan, and they are located within PetSmart. I do not wish to give my money to any company that condones this type of behavior. Even if it was not "based on my race" it was totally wrong.

The workers were all polite & smiled. I needed help with a 30 lb bag of cat food & a young man helped lift it into the cart. And then I had questions about cat items & he answered them. So I was so happy with your store & your employees

I was going to this Petsmart for our bearded dragon food/accessories. There is an older caucasian man who work the back where you get the food. He is very rude. This is not a one time occurrence. Everytime I go he is rude, including today. Not to mention, this not just with me. I was here a week ago and he was very rude to all three of us who were waiting to be serviced. He gets irritated if you ask a question. It is you job sir! I asked for mealworms. When i got them I immediately opened and most of them were dead. I took them back to him, of course he gave me attitude. I asked for a new batch. He went to the back and brought me out the exact same batch as if I was dumb. I left them there and walked out the store. I will drive the extra miles and go to the E. Broad location moving forward. Very bad customer service.

Clean invornment but hard to get help when asking for fish or another example if you need feeder animsls its hard to get help. always told shure be right with you there is one man piticular if hes there i will leave he proceeds to tell you he knows bettet been in pets for 25 years.... bla bla and will try to school you on anything you have to say. the first few times i figured worried employee trying to make shure customers knew about feeders fish or reptiles But not the case hes just plain( inapropreatly rude ) (sorry i can not spell corectly) and does not know it all .....In fact mollies when and if you have one male and a female sword tail they can and will interbreed and reproduce .Now he will tell you not possible also he tells you no when you need crickets your wrong on your size and get this not that .Im sorry but i know what my animal eats .I have this same employee because my son said we got the frog outside which we have haf it and kept alive for almost 6 years now we found it as timy babby leg chopped off right after park did thier grass cutting so we rescued it .But keep in mind at tome my child was 10 excited now 16 and this man told me no wont serve me because i kept a wild animal my son was 10 excited how many of us have brought frogs home .He tells me my gold fish wont eat worms from outside which they do and the frog does too .so we catch worms instead of purchasing them for fishing . But they are not for fishing we use the night crawlers for our frog and our gold fish .on top if i ask for crickets this man no matter what answer you give him he knows best My frog will eat small and large crickets it will eat spiders if we catch them in the house and throw them in the tank also i have a water side and dry side in a 55 gallon set up the frog is completely happy I do keep small gold fish in there to look at but i keep feeder gold fish because naturaly the frog even well fed he will occasionaly eat a gold fish or all of them i keep 6 in there BUT its circle of life Frog still has 3 legs alive and is thriving happy healthy just a tiny baby we picked up and rescued from park the vet at first told us dont bother cause of the injury to leg from park grass cutter .But hes now fine .But this employee no matter snake frog spider frog he just alwaws has something negative to say and or trys to correct you in deep down when it comes down to it he makes me pick my own crickets because he says he hates them and is not putting his hands in there im rolling over laughing .This is same emoloyee who says my sword tail and molly can not inter breed when infact have .
