Absolutely the best! I’ve been trying to get my dog’s nails trimmed for a very long time. Her now previous vet would charge me for multiple visits, and tell me that I needed to drug her more before her visit…because of her “anxiety.” This visit with our new doctor was awesome. Joe was absolutely the kindest ever, and my dog wouldn’t stop giving the doctor kisses. I would not only recommend them to you, but I will be taking me second dog there now. Thankyou!

Besides working there for a while, I like Dr Halper and would trust him with my health care if he treated humans!!! They just cleaned Charlie's teeth and they look soooo clean!!! Thank you soo much!! I plan on using him till my pets are not around anymore!!

Wonderful care! Helpful and caring staff. Definitely recommend.Update: 3 yrs later and I still feel the same, even more pleased. I first came to this vet clinic in the 60's and remember it fondly. I am visiting once again in the area and my dog who came with me was experiencing the same issues as 3 years ago. The doctor did not see the need to repeat x-rays, because he said we already knew the problem and gave him the needed medication. Of course the vet is different than in the '60s but the care and concern are the same.

Took my dogs to get groomed today at the bed and biscuit have been going there for almost 9 years and have utilized all of their services. recently the last couple years I've been paying close attention to their billing when I noticed that every 10 weeks we get them groomed and every time they get the bordetello times 2 for 2 dogs but not only that you have to pay an office visit of 55 dollars each that is $110 for office visits even though they are already there getting groomed it's 70 for the shots and a 100 Mary runs the place not a nice person tells me I am not going to be serviced there anymore for anything so when you find out how ruthless and uncaring for my animals just to give them shots they don't need to put money in their pockets they are scum don't take your pets here they are in danger the veterinarian halper is not a nice guy he only cares about the money beware

I stopped taking my dog there for vet care because the vet did not seem very caring and he took my dogs to another room for exams. I took my dog for grooming there today. (Dee is a great groomer) . Without permission, they gave my dog, who is up to date on shots, a Bordatella vaccine and charged me $42. The girl at drop off confirmed with my husband our dog did not need a bordatella shot until April. I won't be going back. They tried to make it sound like it was no big deal, but it really is!

Found them on Facebook last year with a exam for only $1 which was awesome but they do get pricey after that but we love them we drive from obetz to take out pets. They are nice and get to the point. We love the nurses and vetanatians. But sometimes the Male vet can over talk you when your trying to let them know something or trying to answer a question he would ask. But other than that I'd suggest people to go here.

If you need a place to board your pets, give Hillview a try! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our cat and dog had a fun, safe, and comfortable stay for 4 nights. They are also very accommodating. We had to extend their stay an extra night at the last minute. It was not a problem, and the staff was very understanding. We will definitely board our pets their again.

Hillview vet almost killed my cat. I am normally not one to leave a bad review however my experience with hillview vet was traumatic to say the least. I brought my cat, Coal, in at the beginning of summer because of some weakness and excessive urination. He was diagnosed with diabetes and put on insulin. I brought him him in regularly for blood sugar tests and the vet continued to prescribe more insulin. The last time I brought Coal in he told me that his blood sugar looked good and that I could come in again in a month so I brought him home and followed instructions perfectly. He got his shots 12 hours apart with food everyday. I was never told what to look out for or how to monitor him and I honestly thought everything was okay until a week after our last visit. My cat started having focal seizures and then a grand mal seizure at about 1 in the morning. I had to drive an hour to take him to an emergency vet and they said that his blood sugar was critically low. Every vet that I have seen since has said that they have never seen a cat be prescribed 6 units of insulin before and that that was way too much for his size. It cost thousands of dollars to save the life of my cat because of the vet at Hillview. The only redeeming qualities of the office are the amazing vet techs and receptionists. They are honestly the only reason I stayed at Hillview for the 2 months that I did.

Dee is a wonderful, caring groomer and take such great care of Ellie, our Golden Retriever, and Wrigley, our miniature Australian Shepherd. It's worth every minute of the 40-minute drive to take them to her!

Rough experience to say the least.. My main issue was with the Vet that saw our cat. He was rude, abrasive, and overall not helpful. He told us what he was going to do to our cat without explaining why or asking if we were ok with it. When asked specifics on the shots they were going to give her, he couldn't answer what they were directly, or why he was giving them to her. He also tried to leave the room without letting us get a word in. VERY unprofessional. I do not recommend this location.There were other smaller issues as well, but all of them were overshadowed by this experience.

I visited the Bed and Biscut boarding to board my special needs pooch because we wanted a veterinarian to be available in case of emergent needs. We were recommended by my vet office who is 3 miles away. The staff are friendly. The dogs are happy. The place is clean, no odors. I was even greeted by 4 of the dogs from day care. It was a wonderful time. The lady that gave me a tour greeted every dog as we passed by their run. She knew the names of everyone of them and she told me a little about them like their likes and favorite things. You can see the genuine love for these pet guests. They told me that they take care of lots of special needs dogs just like mine. I'm looking forward to doing business with them.

I have taken my cat there for years, and until recently have had no issues. I liked the vet so much that when I moved I still drove 40 or more minutes each way to stay with him. I was finally forced to change vets though after they hired a new vet tech who HATES cats. I have had two appointments where this new vet tech was there, and they were HORRIBLE. She acts like she's afraid to pick up my cat, makes tons of rude comments, and my cat has been afraid to come out of the carrier when we get home after she has handled him. On the last visit she even commented my cat didnt like her and that he wasnt nice and I called her out on it by asking her what she did to him because he is the nicest cat and everyone else there loves him and she got silent, rolled her eyes, and left the room. I don't like she takes him out of the room to do everything. You can weigh him in front of me. That last visit I could hear him screaming when he was out of the room and that has never happened before. She needs fired!! Or at the very least she should only work the reception desk and never be allowed to handle animals again. The vet is nice, but this new vet tech is horrible.

We’ve been taking our dogs to Hillview for years, and are very happy with the care and service they’ve received. Dr. Josh is a wonderful vet who is excellent at diagnosis and treatment. I’ve found him to be conscientious and hard-working. He cares about his patients and he tells you what’s going on with your pet’s health in a clear and understandable way.My experience with the staff at Hillview is also positive. They're caring and helpful, and they make a vet visit comfortable for both you and your pet.Another plus of taking your pet to Hillview is that you can get grooming and boarding there too. Dee, the groomer, not only does a great job of making our dog look cute but she’s also really good at making the experience less stressful for him.

Warning: death.....We took one of our cats here with concerns about an Upper Respiratory Infection & were told that he was fine. Just had a cold & we're sent home with some medicine.24hrs later, we rushed to get him another appointment with Hill View. They were able to get us in "first thing in the morning" & told us to arrive "around 8:30am". When we got there, we were told that the vet techs aren't in until 9am but they would "see what they could do".About 15 min later of sitting in the car waiting, they came & got our cat. They came out a few minutes later, asking for $45 for the "appointment" & said that there was "nothing they could do" & that if we didn't RUSH him to the closest vet with an oxygen machine that he would die.We rushed him to the closest vet of this specification (an emergency vet 30 min away) & it was too late.I don't remember the name of the vet, but it was an older man. Very uncaring in his demeanor & I remember specifically him explaining to me how BREATHING works, & that our cat was not getting enough oxygen (this was when he said there was "nothing they could do").I will never take another pet here again, not even for a nail trim.

Everyone that works at the veterinary clinic and Bed in Biscuit next door has been the absolute sweetest. I'm so appreciative that they have hours that work around my schedule and that they were willing to take on my pup when he needed them last minute. They even called a few days later to check in on him and make sure everything was OK. I can't recommend them enough!

Real talk, real life, real people.Dr Halper and all of his staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and empathetic.Everyone is concerned about price, I consider this clinic to have very reasonable pricing structure.I believe Dr Halper cares about animals to his very bones.In my opinion Dr Halper will do everything within his professional capabilities to help your pet however he can.Dr Halper also uses his professional experience to offer you advice, on how to give your pet the best quality of life possible.I have moved a LOT, and I come from big family so, over 83 dogs (not counting other animals) have trudged through my hands personally and I consider Dr Halper among the top 4 veterinarians of my lifetime.

My Saint look so cute!… it was a bit of an mix up in the beginning when it came to what shoots my puppy had and what he needed since he was new to the Vet. But I must say they did an amazing job with his bath and grooming. I was very please when I picked him up. I showed them a picture and they did the cut on him just like how the picture looked I love the grooming services there will definitely recommend!

This has been our Veterinarian for about 17 or 18 years and we've always been happy with them. Years ago one of our dogs had to stay overnight but would not eat, the staff remembered that my husband said he liked, I think, Wendy's or McDonald's hamburgers, so someone went and bought him a hamburger! Yesterday we took our elderly sweet pup to have her put to rest. They were so wonderful to us. A staff member came out the minute we pulled up and helped us take her in, the room was ready with a pink towel on the exam table so she wouldn't have to lay on a cold table and our vet gave her a kiss after he administered the shot. They were just so kind and made the whole ordeal just a little easier. We just love these people, they love our pets as much as we do and it shows.

Our 9 year old husky came dow really Ill. She spent 5 days in the hospital here. Dr. Halper and his staff were amazing!The doc stayed with her personally the first couple of nights since she was so sick and called and updated us multiple times a day.We were even able to visit with her.Amazing and caring with my husky!Thank you Dr. Halper and staff!

I have been going here for years. They've always been a little pricey, but my pets were taken care of. My daughter's dog was supposed to go today for a neuter and a k9 tooth extraction due to injury. They quoted $800! For a 39lb dog. Absolutely not! We will be finding another vet that doesn't price gouge.

This vet dismissed my concerns ultimately killing my 3 year old cat. Please please do not go here for any actual concerns.I took my cat here 2 weeks ago because I was worried about his urinary tract and Dr. Halper told me he was perfectly healthy, this morning I had to put down my 3 year old baby because the pressure from his bladder caused bleeding. I told this vet all of the symptoms he had for about a month before the visit which were all very common urinary blockage symptoms but they couldn’t do anything without a urine sample. I wish so much I had went somewhere else who would’ve taken my concerns seriously, my baby would’ve still been here. I am absolutely heartbroken. If there was anything that needed to be done I should’ve never been told he was perfectly healthy. I miss him so much. Please take your pet somewhere who cares as much as you do.

How often do you find a vet that cares more about your pet than it's owners feelings? How often do you find a vet that get your pet in immediately in an emergency?This place is amazing they have fixed my dogs shoulder that was out of socket and got me in within 20 minutes after I called. They also was able to diagnose a bacterial problem that most vets wasn't able to figure out.I sincerely trust them with my pet. And I'm one of the weird ones that looks at his dog as one of my children. I highly recommend this veterinarian. By the way to me his prices are more than reasonable.
