I just took my cat Cinco today and I am just amazed at how amazing and helpful everyone was! The front desk, nurse and vet went above and beyond and made my kitty feel SO comfortable this was one of the best vet experiences I've had! Will DEFINITELY be returning!!! Very reasonable with prices as well!

I cannot say enough about the amazing staff at Rootstown Veterinary Clinic. The front desk was swift and friendly when checking both in and out! Conner was so caring with our two dogs and very thorough! He was gentle and slow with our baby who is timid of all things outside of her comfort zone. Dr. Amport was attentive, listened and was just as kind and patient. Thank you all for making this crazy dog mom and her kids feel at ease!

They are very kind and did an amazing job with my elderly cat also the price was amazing cheapest place I've found yet around this area and they were fast and within a week my little girl was doing a million times better thanks to rootstown veterinary hospital you guys are amazing I will be using this vet for my other animals as well a big thank you from tut tut and I 😊🐈

This was our first time taking our dogs to Rootstown Vet Hospital. We were very pleased with Dr. Amport and the staff that examined our very nervous pups! They were patient and kind with them which we appreciated. The hospital was clean and neat and everyone was very nice!

With two pets who unfortunately end up in the vet often, I have to say this the best clinic I have been to. I have interacted with every vet and employee here, and everyone is so kind and caring with our pets. They have always helped over the phone, answered my emails, squeezed me in for emergencies, and constantly been a huge support while we navigate complicated health issues. Our cat’s diabetes is now in remission and I’m sure it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing staff at rootstown vet. Thank you all so very much!!!

For nearly a year, the Rootstown Vet staff did everything they could to help my dog Molly feel comfortable with her congestive heart failure. We were prescribed medication that helped her greatly and prolonged her life with practically no side effects. In the final month, I was able to make emergency appointments to get the fluid drained from her abdomen. And when she died at home, I was able to bring her in and immediately get a private room where my wife and I could say our goodbyes. They were kind, empathetic, and accommodating at every point during this difficult period in our lives. Five stars is the minimum I would rate their services. Amazing people in every way.

The staff is nice, I took my cat in for what I thought was a UTI, they gave me pettlets to use as litter. I separated my cats for the night. He didn't go all night called and they told me they thought he had a blockage, but the minute I let him use the regular litter he went they wanted me to take him to the ER. I called my old Vet and took him . Turns out he as anxiety because of the dog. Don't think I'll go back.

They took us and Fifi (not her real name) at the 11th hour, showed the appropriate consideration, gave (yeah: gave) us a tablet or two to get Fifi through the weekend... what's not to like? (In the end, Fifi was just fine.)

Such caring people here. My poor baby I found out is allergic to fleas and also has a heart murmur, which my last vet didn't even tell me about. I'm glad I came here. Definitely recommend 👌 👍

I started using this vets office several years back when my cat was near death and my regular vet couldn't get her in for a month even with it being and emergency situation, Rootstown got her in in 2 days , now years later they take wonderful care with my very senstive and terrified Sheppard and when i had to have my Rottie put down they got him in that day and were so kind and caring with the whole process, my new pup goes for his first visit next week , I will probably never take an animal anywhere else , they showed kindness and compassion when other did not

If your pet has a life threatening emergency, please do NOT go here…They don’t care! They should be ashamed to call themselves a “Hospital”……A real “Hospital” treats the sickest emergencies first, they don’t send you home to come back later!…….…..My friends poor baby was CRYING out from pain. When cats cry, you KNOW there is something immediately wrong….Atleast, they could got this poor baby something for his pain. Buy the time they actually bothered to see him, it was too late….(and it’s not like there is an emergency hospital in the area)…..SHAME on them!!!! Negative 100 stars, these pets are our family. They need to act like a “Hospital.”

Brought two dogs there. Vet told me my old dog is blind and I know he is not blind cause he can see shadows still and walk to me to get treats.My other dog had a cough that appears to be kennel cough, but they did nothing, only ask me if I want to bring him back.They charged me 300 dollars for a ear swab and medicine for both dogs.I wouldn’t recommend this vet to anyone because they don’t seem interested in helping solving problems, unless of course, you have deep pockets.
