This review is based solely on their catering services. I ordered a catering fruit try from this Marc's and it was the saddest fruit tray I've ever had. The rind was left on the watermelon, seeds and innards were left on the cantaloupe, the strawberries were old and bruised and the pineapple still had parts of rind on it as well. If I were taking this fruit tray to a non family event, it wouldn't have made it. I would've left it at home and tried to salvage it by myself. And if you're thinking that I ordered it out of season, that has nothing to do with seeds and cantaloupe guts being still attached to the cantaloupe pieces and rinds on the watermelon and pineapple. This was extremely poor preparation. And I ordered the same fruit tray from a Marc's in Aurora about 2 weeks prior to this, and it was amazing. Lesson learned, don't order catering from Marc's in Ravenna.

Great place to shop for a variety of things at deeply discounted prices from food to limited clothing items, to greeting cards to all your cleaning needs. BIG plus is the electric shopping carts for those of us who have health challenges.

Very clean and helpful place with Good Value. They have a large variety of items from a discount variety section,, Rx's,Produce, Deli, meat dept w/butcher Dairy, Dry goods,greeting cards ,soft drinks & water cleaning products,diapers too food for Dogs,Cats, Birds,Squirrels

I spend a significant amount of time and money at Marcs. I love the closeouts section! I do not love the way the bathrooms are kept,the Produce section, & waiting forever to check out . They need to rotate items so that new is behind the old to keep things from going bad and hire more cashiers. I informed the staff about the condition of the bathrooms since it was unusable while I was there. The bathrooms still didn't get cleaned over 30 minutes later . According to the cleaning schedule they haven't been touched since 6/13. Step up your game please !Also , new man working behind the Deli counter was a little too interested in my 15 year old daughter. Making her feel very uncomfortable.

Terrible terrible terrible. This specific Marc’s store just made me never want to go to any Marc’s store in the greater Cleveland area. Guy at the deli almost sleeping on the counter, no sense of urgency from any of the workers, 3 cashiers and 5 people waiting 10-15mins due to any lack of effort. I’ve worked at Marcs and have shopped their stores for over 20years. Never again. Marc Glassman would’ve had a mental breakdown walking into the Ravenna store.

Why does Marc's have a rank odor? Am I the only one to notice this..Did something die in there? If I didn't need to get a prescription there I wouldn't go in. It is utter chaos, always has been to me. I'm sure it has gotten better from when they 1st started operating, when different products would be just anywhere throughout the store. Yet it is the smell that keeps me away, I don't care how much I can save shopping at Marc's, if I can't breathe the air I most likely won't be able to eat the food. 🤢

I used to love the Marc's but sadly it has gone down over the years. Please check the dates on everything you buy here. I've found several items with bad dates. I once told a cashier that all of their half and half was out of date by 2 months! She really didn't believe until I walked her over to the dairy isle and just like I say about 10 half and half cartons had expired! Recently a mouse was playing near the nuts section.

The cashier rang up my purchase at a higher price then the posted price. This has happened to me on three separate occasions. I would suggest paying attention to your purchases to make sure you are being charged the correct amounts. I also have experienced poor customer service at the location in Ravenna.

The staff here are pleasant and friendly, and some of the prices are cheaper here than Giant Eagle. However, you have to be careful what you pick up. Many of the perishables here are out of date or nearly out of date. I saw ham cubes in the cooler yesterday (2/15/21) that had turned brown. The freezer has enough frost in the ice cream section alone to sink the Titanic. Be deliberate and thorough when shopping here.

3/5 @ 2:10 the manager is rude, the clerk at the service center is rude they refused my service dog who has all the paperwork and has access to go anywhere with me but they refused my services dog. So beware if you shop at this Marc's and you're disabled and you have a service dog more than likely they will ask you to leave even after you show them the credentials for your service dog they will still refuse to service you. They are very uneducated on the difference between a service dog and an emotional support dog. So I would suggest shopping elsewhere because they're very rude here and have no customer care.They do not care to serve those that are disabled. Service dogs are welcome pretty much anywhere you are the handler, but emotional support dogs are not permitted to go everywhere as a service dog. They have totally different training and purposes, service dogs go through intensive training to learn a specific job, where emotional support dogs do not go through any training of any kindbecause it's not performing a specific job, all it's doing is giving you comfort, so they considered it more as a pet.

They have the best pharmacy!!! Nathan is great! And if your meds are a bit pricey always ask if there is any additional discount available or an alternative med with the same active ingredients... Nathan always goes the extra mile for his customers... always improving the store and they keep it well stocked.

This store reminded me a lot of a grocery store I worked in back when I was a teenager. Of course, that was when dinosaurs ruled the earth, but I digress. They had a decent collection of groceries as well as some good looking produce and meats. The most unusual part of the store was the close out section. There was a strange assortment of stuff. Most of it looked like super cheap, made in China, looks like the real product but doesn't work kind of stuff. There was, however, some dinner Ware that was packaged fr sale are William Sonoma that was fairly nice and ridiculously cheap. 4 sandwich plates for $1. Would have given it five stars except there was a sense of old and dirty about the whole place.

Huge shout out to the two guys who hooked me up w a cart at checkout after I went in thinking I was just gonna get a 12 pack of mountain dew and ended up buying 3 12 packs and some gummy bears haha. You guys are awesome.

I've been an employee at this store for 2 and a half years as a supervisor. We're never fully staffed and the customers are rude. To said customers that are rude: you have no idea how much we go through. We deal with people like you every day. Don't make it worse please, because it already sucks. We know we don't have enough registers open, we probably are out of whatever's in the ad, yelling at me while I'm checking out a customer doesn't make me want to be nice to you but it's my job. So next time you come in here be patient with us, please. It may not seem like we go through a lot here at Marc's but be nice please. Thank you. Update: I finally quit my job as a supervisor at the Ravenna Marc's. They are messed up. No respect for their employees at all. I don't recommend working for this location at all. Good ridence!!!

Not enough cashiers, prices are no longer competitive with other stores. Even close outs have higher prices! Can find more selections and lower prices at Walmart or five below or gabes! Also check the dates in the dairy section!

The store is usually busy when I'm there but the lines always move fast usually less then 5 minutes. Way better then Walmart where you have to check yourself out after standing in line to do that.

I think the way they set it up ruined it. I loved Marc's before but the lines take longer and they got rid of stuff and put things ask backwards. It use to be easy to ship now you get all hand in one section.

Very poor custmer service employees act like you are a bother to them often out of sale items store is dirty and cluttered and you cant see on the little screen if a price is correct they often forget to use your coupons even when reminded go to a different marcs this one sucks

Really wish they had purell wipes for carts since its cold and flu season. Not really ideal for people with comprimised immune systems, elderly or families with little ones.

Everything from hygiene, beauty supplies, kitchen /household, fresh produce & meats, fresh fruit/ veggies, canned & dry goods. Ethnic selections are very well represented! Cheaper than Walmart.

On a recent visit when I purchased 20 suet cakes one cashier commented to the other that she would hate to be my neighbor..I reminded her that the adults were feeding their young..seems many are too self centered to care for those low on the good chain..
