Our experience with Scioto Trail Animal Clinic was from start to finish,nothing but, positive. The whole set up is very professionally done. The office was clean, no bad smell from animal waste etc. The office greeted you in very nice way. My husband and I and our dog felt very warm and welcomed, almost like family. The staff and Veterinarian gave us all we needed, attention, patience,information, good attitude, fair price and a lots of love to our animal. We were blown away with this kind of treatment. We are recommending this Animal Clinic highly.

Rude from the moment my lady walked in, despite having a prior relationship to them. If they’re comfortable being rude to who they know, I would imagine strangers won’t get better treatment. Looking at a side by side comparison of what a local competitor charged my family, I feel I was extorted in a state of need/emergency. For $800, Shawnee Animal Clinic saved my cat and watched him 24/7 for 5 days, and gave him medicine there/to take home, an X-Ray, etc.$700 got my cat a two night stay at Scioto Trails, without 24/7 monitoring cause their night person leaves, and no meds. They didn’t even do the courtesy calls to let me know if he was fine. The only call was to let me know my budget had ran up. Glad I called a competitor before letting my lady take him back there, or I’d likely have deeper debt and a dead cat. Then to top it off, a young employee messaged my lady threatening to fight her, for my initial hastily worded review.So if you want your cat to die, and then to be insulted about it and threatened by an employee they say they can’t control, Scioto Trails is the place for you!!

Texted me 6 days after surgey saying they charged me wrong and wanted another $100+ on top of what i already paid.*Edit:That's a weird threat for not saying anything out of line or rude. I know you're trying to make yourself look better on here by implying i said anything out of line, which i didn't. But go ahead and share them with whoever you want. I've gone to my other vet for 25 years and never been charged wrong or been treated the way you guys have treated this situation. I also can't imagine another veterinarian would spend 2 hours during business hours sending out 15-20 text messages and email's arguing to get $80 after their mess up. Maybe worry about training your staff and the animals you're supposed to treat instead of arguing with customers because multiple members of your staff messed up.

It was great! My kitties loved the vet visit and they scheduled me right away. Prices are reasonable and using the app and online scheduler it's super easy to set up appointments!

They were awesome. My baby went in with an eye infection and while they were tending to her it became an emergency they took her back right away did emergency surgery and worked through their lunch to save her. She is doing fabulous with only one eye. She has adapted so well. Her name is Lucky, she is only 5 months old, and she truly was at that point lucky to have been there.

When I found our dog we ended up keeping, he had worms and was so skinny e brought him in to get worm medicine and it cleared up everything right away and he’s doing great! The office staff is so great, so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and I really appreciate the help they gave us! By far the best place to take your pets especially pets you love!

Spayed , We took Baylie in at 10am she was back home 4hours later . By the next day she was up running around she showed no pain at all six days and she total fine . Great team at Scioto Trail Animal Clinic that you.

If I could give them a 0 I would my poor pup was misdiagnosed with having diabetes. I had to give him insulin who knows what damage that done because less than a month later I had to say goodbye 2 weeks later he was blind. To say I hate this place is an understatement

We have been going to STAC for about 4 years now and won’t go elsewhere. If I could give a higher rating, I would.The staff is always great, the prices are a lot more affordable as well. I know when our babies are going to Dr. Salisbury, that they are safe. She truly cares about her patients. The staff is always seen playing with and cuddling the patients and love them as well.2 years ago, I frantically called STAC because my cat was having trouble breathing and walking. (This hadn’t been happening the night before.) Dr. Salisbury instantly said to bring him in and found that he had passed a blood clot from his heart, and unfortunately we lost him. Dr. Salisbury and her staff were so incredibly kind and comforted us and allowed us time to cry in the room for as long as we needed.The next year, we had a rescue kitten that we found on the side of the road and had brought him in 3 times within the 1 week we had him. He also ended up passing because he was so ill from being away from his mother at such a young age.Again, Dr. Salisbury and her staff were so kind and talked us through everything. One staff member even hugged me while I cried.I will never forget how we were treated on the two hardest days, but I am grateful.I highly recommend STAC 💙

They were very nice but they told me they were triple booked then called and said I could do an emergency visit for THREE times the regular fee. If you can fit us in for a visit on the same day same place why couldn't it have been just a regular office call? BTW we did find an amazing vet but we still lost our Otis😭. I saw your responce and I do not agree with you at all. your business is a business and i understand that but I also know that our animals are family and if you can fit an emergency visit in you can fit a regular visit in and The price I was QUOTED WAS ALMOST 3 TIMES THE PRICE. I also was told I could make a regular appointment online for them to approve. thank you for your concern for my dog but it was given a little too late . Waverly vet took amazing care of Otis in his last minutes with me. 💔.

The staff was very hospitable to both pet and owner. They were very accommodating in helping my cat feel at ease. The doctor was thorough and took time to sit down and discuss the problem and treatment choices. Everyone was very efficient. I felt my cat got the attention he needed.

My dad had an account with them that was 4 years old regarding our family dog. His original flea/tick medicine was no longer offered. However they recommended an alternative with a deal. Looking forward to using it to help our dog with his flea infestation. They're friendly and doing the best they can during the pandemic to get pet parents what they need in a safe manner!

I won't be going back there. Price wise they are okay, which is why I am even leaving two stars. But if you happen to accidentally miss an appointment you then have to prepay for future appointments. If you prepay and miss you're just out money because they won't reschedule you, they consider it done and paid for as if you had been seen. You have to make a new appointment and PREPAY AGAIN. Mind you, I only had two accidentally missed appointments, and they were years apart. While keeping appointments is important, sometimes life happens, it shouldn't leave you out of money paying for something you don't even get. Won't even be going back for flea medicine. I'll go elsewhere even if it cost me extra.

I called the clinic to make an appointment for my furbaby Storm. They were able to get me right in. They were very helpful in explaining everything to me. I only had to wait like 4-5 minutes after I arrived. In and out. Fast. Easy and the best place in Scioto County to have your pets cared for. Very professional.
