My first time visiting a Taxidermy place. Sooo freaking awesome!! And the woman that came out to speak with me (regretfully, I did not get her name), but she was so sweet. And she was accompanied by the sweetest pup, named Sandy. She asked if I was ok with dogs before even allowing Sandy to come out onto the showroom floor with me. The taxidermy itself just had me in complete awe the entire time I was there. Just amazing.

Fabulous experience! Fabulous people! Jim's art is absolutely brilliant. These people are so kind and so welcoming. If you're just visiting the area or a local, either way..... this is the place to stop to satiate your taxidermy needs or just to see the amazing mounts. Very talented and kind people. The gel candles are also awesome! Worth a buy. They make awesome gifts.

My wife and I are visiting from out of state. We decided to stop in out of curiosity and we had some time to kill. The store was very neat and some of the best mounts I have seen, you can tell there is real time and artistry put into each mount. My favorite was the Perch in the cooler! We weren't there for mounts though, we ended up buying four of the lovely hand made candles they had for sale. Super cool and unique candles that smell amazing. We had a great conversation with, I'm assuming Jim? Either way, I would highly recommend to stop by and give them your time.

Very nice place, really liked all the mounts. Nice gentleman that was there, helped us with questions. Looks like they do really good taxidermy, and had some for sale. Smaller shop with a good amount of goodies to look at and purchase. We will definitely be back.

Crappie are very difficult to mount and look realistic, Jim's Taxidermy is the best I've ever seen and I've seen a lot, you won't be disappointed, super easy to deal with, great customer service
