I find a lot of good deals here! Customer service is hit or miss, but they hire a lot of young kids/adults, which I think is great, but sometimes they lack good people skills.The store is usually pretty clean!

Convenient and when things are on sale, prices are good. The service is not that great as most are teenagers. But just listening to them youll.learn all kinds of stuff! :)If you watch sales you can get good prices, but regular non-sale items are no bargain.However I like to support this store as it is local. I like to buy my meat here...

Love this store. Always very clean, shelves always stocked full and the people are always nice and friendly. And a way better grade of grub then Walmart. It's actually a calming and relaxing place shop.

Went to Powell’s today, and grabbed a package of dark chocolate reese’s thins. The chocolate was 6 months out of date!!!! The expiration date was November 2021 and it’s the last day of April 2022. We were just visiting and this says a lot about this town! $5 down the drain. We will NOT be returning.

I love this place. Good prices, great food and deals (ESPECIALLY meat quality) and is owned and ran by a local person. The deli has a pizza part in it and a large pizza is only 8.99 and even cheaper on Fridays. Its better than pizza hut by far but pizza is the only thing they do. No breadsticks or cinnamon sticks or anything like that. Thats the only downfall about the pizza part. But they have cakes cookies cupcakes and more you can buy.

It was good food store. But just as I was taking my food purchases from the shopping cart, I realized I hadn't gotten my BUTTER WHICH the news ad said was FREE if I purchased at least $25.00. So I zppoached Customer Service with my receipt and bags of food. They REFUSED to give me the butter ! Said I should have gotten it before I went to cashier. That was dishonest in my opinion. And not good community relations.

Nice clean store that is well stocked with very nice employees. The deli is the best around with lots of choices. The prices are competitive to Walmart with a better clientele. There is plenty of parking and we'll lit.

Great lil hometown grocery store. Has a lot of things main stream big box stores have. Prices a little higher, but worth not fighting lines and ppl!

Nice grocery store, my parent's have been shopping at Powell's since i was little. I now live in a different county but will continue shopping there... sooo much better shopping at stores like Powell's instead of the bigger chain stores. Thanks

I shop at Powell's once or twice a week. I have read some comments on their prices are higher. Not much higher it's still supporting your local business.I get a beef every year and am funny about where I get meat and Powell's is the only other place I will buy meat except if I'm in Athens at Krogers!Great hometown family owned business they always done right my me and my family.

We visited on Memorial Day weekend and found everything we needed. It was good to see how the locals supported a veterans charity as we entered. The people in this area are friendly and welcoming.

Lots of good things that you can't find at that W-store. Their Bakery & Deli beats any around. 5*****xxx UPDATE 08/28/21 Was just made fun of by an employee for wearing a mask. REALLY?! I'm immuno-compromised. Not cool, Powell's. 2**

Powles in Pomeroy is a great place to shop . They have great meats . An things you just can't find other places. Wish they would start baking pastry an breads again .
