I enjoyed my experience at Ace hardware. The person waiting on me. I believe his name was Joe. He was very knowledgeable about the inventory and took me directly to the spot where my casters for my garden were found immediately. Thanks Joe and thanks, Ace hardware for a good experience.

Luckily I already knew exactly what I needed when I walked in so I didn't need help in that respect. The gentleman at checkout was very friendly and even gifted my 2 yr old daughter a free balloon. Made her whole day. Prices are just a bit higher than you'd find in the bigger box stores like Lowe's/home Depot but you're paying for the convenience of not having to drive that far and I'm okay with that.

Great store, awesome people! I has a last minute urgent thing I needed. Called the store 4 min before closing, but I was about 6 min away. They said they would stay open for me. We found stuff that would work for what I needed. Just saying thanks again guys!!

Great to keep a local business going even after the original owner needed to retire. We still call it Plain City hardware!Buy local when possible.Update: the new owner is very interested in serving customers and helping meet their needs. Friendly and helpful.

I was in a bind and needed a key copied. I showed up 2 minutes after closing and the store was already locked up. There was an employee in the parking lot that kindly offered to open back up so I could get the key made and sent me on my way, these folks are fantastic!

Well stocked store, even with the limited floor space. The owners and staff are very helpful and always willing to assist with any questions. Recently I needed something for my Stihl trimmer and I got a great recommendation. Further they asked me to give my feedback to help others with information. You pay a little more to support a local store vs. one of the big ones, but the friendly, personable service and community support are worth a buck or two.

Fast and friendly service. Stopped in a small town to get a switch that I had forgotten to get at my local Ace hardware and was pleasantly surprised better service and way more helpful.

Customer service is clearly a top priority. Everytime I go in I am acknowledged, greeted, and offered help. On my most recent trip, the owner helped me find a small part (offered for free), help me salvage an existing part (also free) and let me walk out with a bag of popcorn (free again). I have never shopped at a place that actually cares about the person and project like this business.

Shoutout to the manager Heidi at Ace Hardware (Perry’s). I was beyond impressed with her knowledge about paints. I was skeptical going in that I wouldn’t find anyone of Perry’s caliber (especially a woman—that sounds kind of bad I know) but boy was I wrong. She was absolutely amazing!!! And it seems like she would know about anything hardware related things. When they say “Ace is the place for helpful hardware folks” this is true for Plain City Ace Hardware. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love the small town hardware store. Always kind service and have a lot more to offer than one would expect. (don't splurge for the gumball machines outside, though - looks like they've been sitting there since the Reagan years... The gumballs, I mean.)
