Never get your cat groomed here. Our cat has long, thick fur. It sheds a lot, so we like to groom him often. The very first time my cat was groomed here, it was perfect, they got him cleaned up and slightly trimmed his hair, just how we wanted it. The second time, they got him bathed and only trimmed up specific areas, even though we requested he be trimmed everywhere like last time. It was no big deal, just not what we were looking for. The third time, we requested that he gets cleaned up and specifically asked them to trim his hair just slightly all around, to clean him up. He came back looking like a lion. His head, paws, and end of tail untouched. The rest of his body practically bald. He is now whining and is visibly sad. We were extremely surprised by this haircut, or shave. We will never ever get our cat’s fur cut here and I advise you don’t either. The cat groomers completely ruined our cats long, luscious coat. Both our family and cat are very sad about this. I will include pictures of his first trim and his current one down below. The only good thing about this is the manager, who gave us a full refund, but it won’t undo the harm they caused to our cat. Keep in mind, his hair doesn’t grow very fast, so he is stuck like this for at least 2 months. NEVER COME HERE!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the grooming service provided to my beloved pet at your salon on March 8th 2024.Despite clearly communicating my preferences and explicitly instructing your staff not to cut my dog's hair more than half an inch, I was dismayed to find that they completely disregarded my instructions. Not only did they exceed the specified length, but they also shaved off a significant portion of my dog's fur, leaving her with extremely short fur.I want to emphasize that I reiterated my request multiple times during the grooming session, yet it seems my concerns were not taken seriously. As a result, I am left with a dog whose appearance does not align with what I had specifically requested.As a loved pet parents, it deeply hurts and frustrates me and my family to see my dog in this state. She is not only a cherished companion but also a member of our family, and to witness her appearance altered in such a drastic and unnecessary manner is distressing.During the grooming session, I was informed over the phone that your salon would charge extra for the use of detangling shampoo to avoid shaving or cutting my dog's fur more than half an inch. I explicitly reiterated my instructions not to cut her fur beyond this length and to refrain from shaving it at all. I even expressed that if it was challenging to abide by these instructions, I preferred they leave her coat untouched, and I would schedule another appointment later. Despite these clear instructions, the outcome of the grooming session did not align with my wishes, and yet I was still charged the additional fee.Charges:BH Cavapoo - $74CHIWRKPAMP -$35DEMAT - $10This experience has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with the level of professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated by your establishment. As a loyal customer and we are paying lots of money to our pet grooming needs, I expect better treatment for my pet.Moving forward, I kindly request and insist that you review your grooming procedures and ensure that all staff members adhere to clients' instructions more diligently.

The groomers at this petsmart (specifically michael) are notorious about changing out appointment time. This is the third time we've had either appointment time changed or canceled. At least this time they were nice enough to call and let us know about it. Do not go here if you need to get your pet groomed! Michael definitely lost some paying customers!

Took my pup to the groomer at this location. Was done super fast but when we picked him up I saw why. He smelled like they did nothing. He looked and smelled like they did nothing at all. Avoid this location when comes to grooming. Even the staff agreed that he didn't smell like he'd been washed.

Love this PetSmart, a bit of a drive from my home but worth it every. Single. Time. The staff is always amazing. Their fish are always clean and have a good variety including many that are sold out elsewhere. Store is clean and always well stocked. Keep up the good work!! <3

I mean it's a great pet store but the staff is hit or miss. Went in in the am to grab something for our puppy and the woman rolled her eyes and kinda looked at me like I was an idiot went back that evening to make an exchange, and the staff was amazing. I'm assuming it was a manager who helped us and he was fantastic

I bought few items on 3/21/2021, in the billing counter the cashier(#684685) was very rude, As she was not able to follow the phone numbers which I was trying to tell her, she rudely showed me the number pad to enter the phone number and she didn't even look at me arrogantly while handing over the bill. She greeted the next customer behind me, without even thanking me for the business I gave them.Have decided to not go to this store for my future purchases.

I just stopped by this PetSmart for a couple frozen rats. They have the cleanest store I've seen in a long time. Their fish displays were immaculately kept. If they wern't so far from my home I would make this my primary store

Got my dog groomed today at plain city location. Lisa, the groomer, went above and beyond and did a beautiful job and exceeded expectations on a large/ difficult job. 10/10 recommend going to see her. Definitely will be back!

Went to the store for picking up various things to set up a shrimp ecosphere. Mackenzie was amazingly helpful in selecting what is needed to ensure the next one is not a disaster! Terrible management. Made appointment for our dog to start training. I drove fifty miles for first session only to find out that they canceled my appointment without letting me know. They did reimburse me without an argument, thank goodness.

Best pet-smart I’ve been to, the girl who was working in the aquarium area was extremely helpful and nice. She helped us pick everything in a great price range and helped us save money in the process. The cashier was super understanding as well and was extremely nice! Highly recommend this petsmart

I've only ever done doordash orders for this place but my experience with that has been great!The employees either just straight up grab all the items for me and throw it into my cart, or already have everything ready for me before I even enter the door.Which is amazing considering ALL OTHER grocery orders for doordash are an absolute nightmare (looking at you Walmart).

This is a great location for us. I'm glad they opened this store. The store is staffed well and nice and we use the grooming services, as well. I missed an ear infection starting in my pup and when brought him to see Mikayla for his normal grooming, she let me know it may be time for a vet visit. She was right! Thank you for catching that and always being friendly.

I love this location of Petsmart! Majority of the staff are friendly, and really try to get to know their guests, always greeting with a welcoming attitude. The store is clean, and generally well-stocked. The only issue i have, is that they tend to be short on live feed, and sometimes the worms are all dead. However, I attribute it to the suppliers' fault, rather than the store itself. The staff is always responsive and helpful in addressing customer concerns.

We adopted a kitten there. The PetSmart staff were very helpful and Judy the volunteer who takes care of the cats is a very caring person and you can see that she really loves the animals. If you want to adop t a kitten i really reccomend this place

Went in to buy some fish. Decided on koi and was pretty much told by the manger that she would NOT sell me the fish because I only had a 75g tank [until spring when they'd go in a pond] After catching an attitude I decided it was best to just leave and not purchase anything. Went to another store location and bought the fish.

Paul IS AMAZING with all the fish and fish tank knowledge!! I came in there as a new Betta owner and he didn't try to sell me anything at all, much less something I didn't need, and was very reassuring that I wasn't screwing as a new fish mom and was eager to answer all my questions. So glad to have fish guy!!😊😊😊

Rebekah saved the day. I had an online order at Reynoldsburg store where I got an email notice that it was picked up. Huh, I hadn't picked it up yet. That store didn't pick up phone when calling. Plain City had the item in stock and let me pick it up prior to the email 'it's ready' notice. She also called the Reynoldsburg store directly and ensured the other order got cancelled and refunded. Friendly and responsible! Thank you for fixing a messy situation.
