They were very nice, when they new,we had a house fire and we had to buy furniture for are entire home! BUT WHEN THEY DELIVERED MY KITCHEN TABLE ! AND I Told them that is not the size TABLE I wanted! It is way to big for my home. Can you please take it back and get me a smaller one. HIS REPLY WAS NO BUT I CAN PUT IT ON CONSIGNMENT, I WAS LIKE YOU WANT ME TO PAY YOU TO SALE SOMETHING I BOUGHT!Brand New From You? His REPLY Was Yes! CHAIR I Bought was all messed up, he came out twice!I just wanted him to replace it. Answer was no, I think I fixed it. Till the warranty ran out!! Then he could fix it!!Along with the couch!! He Got me for over 10.000 $$ Don't Trust Him, if you don't believe me talk to some of his employees who had to deliver, furniture for him!!!

It finally happened! They went out of business! I can’t say I had to wait too long as I only got screwed by this place a couple years ago. Much to my happiness the going out of business advertising was a joy to see. Bye Bye Town and Country!WARNING- DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING HERE!!!They want to call anything they sell special order and layaway so you don’t get refunds, only reason they “Got” me was because I signed a receipt.This “Company” will play games, call you a liar, and go out of their way to harass and screw you over. I was nice for over 6 months of waiting, but when I finally voiced my unhappiness about my experience and asked where my furniture is was when I got to see just how unprofessional and shady this place is. I learned from an over 1200 dollar lesson that I won’t soon forget. They will NOT work with you despite misleading you all the while and will say if it’s not in writing then it’s not true. I was deceived and duped into my situation and at every chance of asking for remediation was refused and snarked at. Please listen and learn from myself and other reviews below and shop literally anywhere else!

The best furniture store around. It starts with being greeted by the sweetest dogs (who wouldn’t want this heart warming “hello”). The selection is top notch, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful without making you feel pressured into anything. We will continue to shop here again and again. It’s a simple and comfortable one-stop shopping experience..totally different compared to what furniture shopping was before we found this beautiful store! Thank you all so much!

They have a great selection of quality affordable furniture. The staff was very patient with my three children trying out all the couches and were knowledgeable of the furniture they were selling. Weejun the store dog was also a great distraction while I shopped. We appreciate the customer service and are excited for our new living room set! I highly recommend them if you're looking for new furniture!!

I would give them zero stars, however you can't write a review without one. They have been absolutely horrible in their treatment of my father. He purchased a power recliner from them around October (he paid over $1000) and it was delivered about a month or so later. He has had nothing but problems. It stopped working after a few days. They came out to check and thought parts were defective and would already need replaced . About a week or so later After comparing to the floor model they figured out it needed to be reset by holding down a button on the remote. Next there were issues with the lumbar support which I witnessed and they said nothing was wrong when they picked up and returned. About a month or so ago it started creaking very loudly when he would recline. It sounds like wood is cracking. He called twice. This 2nd time they agreed to come get it to look at it but it would cost $95 for the pick up of the chair as the warranty does not cover that. He agreed because he physically cannot bring the chair to them.After rescheduling they just came to get the chair. He explained that it was not doing it today but again said what was happening. They told him that it was normal and that it was the chair just settling. They did not take the chair but still took the $95. If they knew this was normal why did they arrange the pickup? He was clear abou what was going on when he called.. My father is retired and this was a Major purchase for him. He purchased the chair as the sales person told him how people with back issues. He has never spent this much money on a piece of furniture and they have been a nightmare to deal with.He has made so many calls and and has stopped in that I feel that they are just tired of dealing with him and consider him a pain.I am disappointed and disgusted with their treatment this is not good customer service and will definitely not EVER purchase from them again. I understand they do not make the product, however if you are going to promote and sell it, you need to stand by the itemThis last debacle will result in a complaint to the BBB

Although they had a nice selection and good pricing I chose to shop elsewhere. The sales person Bob was pushy and would not take breath. Every time I tried to speak he interrupted which I find VERY RUDE. I had a dog at my feet wanting to play fetch (I hear the dog belongs to the owners’) and to top it all off one of the employees was (literally) being screamed at by someone behind the counter… not at all a professional business from my experience and opinion. I pity the people that work there and hear they have an extremely hard time keeping employees. I understand why! I will NEVER go into that establishment again.

Easy experience, floors and floors of product, so you're bound to find what you're looking for. Purchased a sectional & an ottoman.Update: 12/23/2019: was just delivered the sectional and ottoman. The delivery guys were ON POINT. Easily the best part of the experience. They set the furniture up quickly and easily. Made it look like child's play. Amazing job on the delivery guys part. Everything has been great in dealing with this company.

Horrible!! I bought a sofa on Saturday only to be called on Monday saying that they made an error and I owed $19.11 more. Customer service 101..if the company makes a mistake then they should be the ones to absorb the cost. I called and spoke to Bob ( who comes across as incredibly arrogant) and he said they don’t have enough profits in their products to absorb additional costs. What???!!! For a $900 sofa they can’t afford $20? My options were to pay the money or drive all the way there for a refund. Of course I chose the refund as they will not be getting a dime out of me. With all the other furniture companies out there don’t waste your time with this one.

I have never come across such a dishonest set of people in my life. They mislead you and lie to get sales. Would highly suggest you shop at any other store because this furniture store will likely go out of business due to poor business practices!

CRIMINALS!!!! DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!! The only way to describe Towne and Country Furniture and Bruce Soifer is criminal. My family bought a sectional from them for nearly 3 thousand dollars. At the time of sale we were told it would deliver in 6-8 weeks. It took nearly 6 months for it to deliver and once it did deliver it was torn and the ottoman was defective. Bruce stated that it was not realistic for the furniture to be delivered perfect and that we should expect things like tears. Furthermore he refused to replace the torn corner section and instead came to our home with scissors and super glue to "repair" the section. It was not repaired to our satisfaction and visitors have noticed the tear. Oh, and he missed his appointment after my wife sat around for 3 hours waiting on him. He stated that he got busy and had his secretary call us 30 minutes after the alloted time frame. The ottoman and sectional piece were under warranty. He would not replace the sectional because they ripped it and only offered to replace the ottoman if I delivered it back to them immediately so it could be "donated". Meanwhile he expects us to go without for what I would only presume is another 6 months. He is not honoring the manufacturer warranty and told us to Google the manufacturer if we wanted to talk to them. Please do yourself a favor and avoid these criminals. Buy from someone with integrity, morals, common sense, and someone who stands behind their products; attributes and standards Bruce and Towne and Country clearly do not have. I am working with the manufacturer, BBB, FTC, and attorney general to file complaints against what I believe are criminal business practices. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE PLEASE!!!!

Great place to buy furniture. Our couch was delivered from the manufacturer with a defect. Bruce fought hard to make it right and delivered us a beautiful new piece. Places like this is why you would go to the store vs buying online. Thank you to the town and country team.

Purchased a new bedroom set and mattress set. Got a call about 5 hours later that mattress was out of stock. They went above and beyond to get our set in before delivery. Very happy with everything I bought and the service we received.

Absolutely obnoxious. My family tried to buy a piece of furniture during the weekend, only to be charged for a mistake they made. They lost a nine-hundred dollar sale over twenty dollars. If they didn’t charge us for THEIR mistake, they would have had a sale. Zero-out-of-ten. I would never recommend.

Approximately, five years ago we bought a sofa at Town and Country Furniture. The owner of the store assisted us with picking out a sofa. We were looking for leather material but found it to be too pricey. The owner then showed us a sofa he said was made out of durable materials and would last forever. Well, I am not sure if the owner knows his fabrics because, as you can see in the pictures, the material used for our sofa didn’t last forever. Unfortunately, the fabric started to peel before the sofa was four years young. The frame is in excellent condition, but the material/fabric, as you can see, looks terrible.The reason for giving two stars is because the staff was friendly.

In August of 2015, my husband purchased a complete dining set (table, 2 benches, hutch, buffet, dresser, jelly cupboard and 2 bookcases) for me, for our 30th wedding anniversary, from Bruce Soifer. The furniture is made by John Thomas and it is "custom" made.We were told by Bruce Soifer that the John Thomas Furniture was "Heirloom" quality, "American" made and it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. The furniture is actually made in Vietnam, it's rubber wood, Town & Country did some of the assembly and it takes about 12 weeks for delivery. The "custom" part is the paint color of your choice.Our bookcases arrived with small cracks in the back panels, our hutch was sloppily painted and had cracks also. Our dining room table had about a 3-4" crack on one end. These pieces were reordered and took about 9 weeks to be delivered. Unfortunately,the new pieces weren't much better than the first pieces. John Thomas Furniture doesn't pay attention to detail.Bruce came to our home when the new pieces were delivered. I expressed my concerns to him about the dresser and tried showing him the defects. My concerns were answered with a shoulder shrug and the comment, "Those aren't cracks, those are wood grain". How I wish I could upload photographs of all of the furniture flaws to this google review!!!This transaction didn't start out well, there were red flags that we didn't listen to and we should have. I think when you're spending $6,000. the least Bruce Soifer/Town & Country could have done was offer FREE Delivery ($69.), they didn't, I asked and was refused. It wasn't until the initial problems that I asked to be compensated with free delivery and Bruce finally agreed. At the time of purchase, the only "sale" that was offered to us was a 2% discount and that was because we paid cash. We paid retail for the furniture and it was not worth it.The past few months of dealing with Bruce Soifer has been extremely stressful and miserable. It seemed as though once Bruce Soifer received final payment, he no longer wanted to assist us. That is when things took a turn for the worst.Over the past few months, there have been countless emails back and forth because we asked for some type of compensation and we were offered $300. We refused, then were were offered $600., which is only 10% off. We insisted that instead of a refund, we wanted a new dresser and were told that nothing was wrong with the dresser and it was not going to be reordered. Every single offer he made to us, came with a condition, that we sign a non-disclosure legal agreement.What Bruce Soifer doesn't seem to understand is that if he would have taken our concerns about the dresser seriously and ordered a replacement, we'd probably have it by now and there wouldn't have been months of senseless arguing and all of those emails back and forth. I would have much rather left him a 5-Star review and kept the matter private and offered to do so but he still wanted his non-disclosure agreement signed.As for John Thomas Furniture by Whitewood Industries, If you like "attention to detail" and defective-free furniture, this is not the furniture for you. After contacting them, we were told that Town & Country is their customer and we are just the "consumer".In our final effort to resolve matters with Town & Country Furniture, we said that we wanted to peacefully and quickly end the stressful ordeal and we would keep the defective dresser and take the $600. refund and again we were told that we would have to sign a "non-discloser" legal agreement.We refuse to sign a non-disclosure agreement and be forced to keep quiet. We are the customer, we have done nothing wrong and because we refused to their terms, we are stuck with a defective dresser and will not be receiving a $600. refund. This seems like unethical business practices to us and we feel the need and have the right to tell everyone about our unpleasant and stressful experience. Needless to say, my 30th wedding anniversary present was ruined.
