We LOVE Rpets! The owner is AWESOME and definitely knows his stuff!! We have 3 reptiles 1 being a snake and it's so awesome to be able to get their food right in town, supporting local business, and his prices are great too! 10/10.

The staff were extremely helpful to me & sister with our Chihuahuas. My sister's child's had stomach issues, always with diarrhea. The owner gave her a 5lb bag of grain free food to try, for free. They are very knowledgeable & care about the animals.Sincerely, Pam

Very friendly helpful, knowledgeable, owner present a lot of the time. They carry a brand of dog food called "Dr. Gary's" my picky dog eats it, my English bull is not allergic to it. And finally all 3 dogs have less gas and no tummy troubles. Win, win!

Love this place. Always coming here for a new pet needs and even loved their cute grooming station! (though I never had a pet groomed there or if they still have it, as they moved locations.) the prices were awesome for good high-quality BIRD(yes! A b i r d toy that lasted longer than a week and didnt cost a wing and a beak!! Ah!) toys that lasted me years, the staff is kind and very well informed about all kinds of pets. There has been . They are very good about their treatment of their animals. They do not mistreat, misinform, or incorrectly store their animals like bigger pet stores that I've seen. And they keep everything cleaned so well for not having a huge staff. They are v e r y serious about some of those things and thats what i love because so many people have or buy animals they end up not being able to handle, or that they'll neglect or unintentionally make sick. A lot of people also seem to forget that they are a SMALLER BUISNESS and n o t a HUGE RETAIL BUISNESS. That care, and quality comes from a heart. Not from a big, cold, class case store. And because they arent as big as Petco, they cannot simply do all of the things they or a walmart can afford to do or has the employees for. Their time is easily overwhelmed. Considering this, theyre still my absolute favorite pet store.

I’ve been going here for my dog food, toys and bones for nearly 2 years and I’ve always had wonderful service. The owner truly appreciates his customers and while I may be paying more for my pet supplies, I know what wonderful service to expect when I walk in the door. To me, it is totally worth it. They also have been getting a larger variety of pets for sale.

Update your hours please. If you’re open at 10, you should 100% be open at 10:30. Would rather drive 20 minutes somewhere else than take the time to drive to a closed store.

I USE to refer any of my customers who wanted something that we were out of or didn't have to this store and we do the same for Tracker Supply, Petco and Pet Value as well. After calling today to see if they had a product in stock that we were out of. The customer first wanted to know the price they offered there and if it was the same as ours or cheaper so we asked to price match, if it was then they were going to make the long trip but the women who answered (I believe was a manager), was extremely rude to me told me "we don't price match!" Twice without giving me a chance to explain the situation she hung up on me. I had her on speaker and the 3 people in line were shocked to hear how she was speaking to me. I have NEVER been teated so rudely by someone who works in retail. I understand it's a hard industry but I like to keep a good relationship with my competitors, I will scratch their back if they scratch mine kind of thing. After hearing so much negative things about this store I was still nice enough to refer people to them not now! Since being in the Vet/ pet industry for so long I know A LOT of pet people I will be telling not to go there. For being a semi new store they should really watch out who they are rude to if they want to be around long term.

Majority of the staff are very experienced and willing to help with any pet issues you might be having. Do their best to not sell you something you don't need. One off mom and pop shop that will do special orders, and deliver too. Check them out.

Place pretty much caters to dogs. If you need anything for you cats or any other pet. Go to Walmart or someplace else. Not helpful or friendly unless your a dog owner.

Love this store and the staff, always greeted by a smiling face and employees who are more then happy to have a great conversation. What's most important though is the way management is running this company they take very good care of there animals and are extremely knowledgable.

I would say the woman working here is passionate about pets, however if her personal views on treatment and care are not the same as yours she is outright rude about correcting your own method of pet care. People that bother to walk into your store are very likely to consider their pets family and essentially calling them bad pet moms is rude, and unprofessional. I will not be back, and I do not recommend anyone visiting this establishment with the terrified iguana holed up in the back terrarium. If he is not socialized enough to have people walk by his enclosure to the merchandise beyond him then it's cruel to put him in a spot where customers, especially young ones, might want to approach fit a closer look. You have a sign that he charges the glass, he could very easily injure or even possibly kill himself if he doesn't die of a heart attack first. Get your own house in order before you start assuming moral authority over mine.

I’ve been in here a few times to get something for my dogs when we’re in town. The last time was too crazy I bought a really long bully stick (3-4 feet), while talking to the manager she made it sound as she had something to cut it into smaller pieces there in the store. So I get up to the register and pay damn near $30 for the stupid thing and she says “oh I have my husband at home cut it” . Oh gee thanks for being so misleading. I’ve gone in here before and she’s tried to push dog food I know my dogs can’t eat and I’ve told her what they eat. I think she’s a little off her rocker, I mean it’s not a bad store and it’s close to where my parents live but, unless you know exactly what you are looking for don’t bother

This is the best hometown business and I love to support businesses like this! Best part is that their prices are just as good or better as the chain pet stores and their employees actually care and are very knowledgeable!!! So lucky to have this kind of pet store close to home!!!

Pony tail dude was very rude and crass when we simply walked on the floor that he mopped...at 2:30 in the afternoon during prime business hours. He was so offended by it you would've thought we killed one of his animals, which in all honesty probably wouldn't have gotten as big of a reaction.

Made an appointment two weeks in advance, drive all the way there from Covington just to have the girl take a look at our dog and suddenly fake being sick because she was too lazy to cut our mini Aussie. This place is very inconsiderate. They don't even have the common decency to call and cancel.

they do not groom dogs, even though Google will bring up RPets when someone is searching for a groomer. Nice pet shop for the Piqua area.
