Hope always greets me when I walk in the door and is so very helpful. She gets my crickets for Morphe and has also suggested various worms that my leopard gecko just loves as alternatives! She gives good advice how to care for the crickets so that they live longer for Morphe and also is knowledgeable which worms to refrigerate and which to keep at room temp. She also suggested some little fruity cups and egg cartons to add to the cage/dish which have helped to feed the crickets so that they live longer! Hope has also helped me to find treats that my parakeet has enjoyed. Even when the store is busy Hope makes sure that each customer feels seen and gets proper attention from her or another employee. Hope is friendly and knowledgeable and makes me continue to visit Petland for my pet needs!

I loved coming here! It was clean and it was a great environment! My boyfriend and I came to Petland in between apartment shopping and left pleased. We loved playing with the dogs and Kaila, who is apart of staff, helped so much. She did great handling the dogs. She provided us with great information and was very passionate.

My granddaughter loves going to Petland to see the dogs and other animals there. The staff are always friendly and helpful. She picks a puppy and we play with it till we need to go. Sometimes we get lucky and we’re able to select a second puppy which is the best because sometimes the first puppy is shy or not in a playful mood so it’s really great when we can play with another dog. The birds, snakes, turtles, gerbils and other animals are set up in a way that you can pick one up if you want which is great for a 9 year old or adult like myself. We always enjoy ourselves at Petland and shop while we’re there. I highly recommend as a free outing for grandparents or parents with the kids.

I’m trying to get ahold of someone at this location asap!!! My girlfriend and I were looking at the puppies and played with a few, the person helping us was very rude and made many nasty remarks to me and my girlfriend, his name was Cody. There is also another lady working there too, I didn’t get a name but she was very rude also and not helpful at all, just judgmental because we’ve came in before. We come in often in search for the right fit but it seems they only care about the money!! Petland please get some better employees!!! I am very disappointed with our experience today 👎🏻

Adorable puppies and look so well taken care of. We got a big kick watching them play with each other. There's a wide variety of breeds. You can make an appointment to take a puppy into a partitioned area to see how the puppy acts with your family. I wanted to take them all home!

One of the friendliest full service pet stores in the area.The level of care of every staff member, the variety of all your pet needs, and the amazing pet services offered make this one of the best Pet stores I've visited. Their puppy petting stations are adorable and their four legged friends are always kept super clean and well maintained and happy.Love the work and dedication that every staff member has. Services is definitely the best around!

This location is kept very clean, all of the animal enclosures, including puppies, were well kept and all animals seem to be in good health. The staff were all kind and informative. We initially went in to look at dachshund puppies(our son is obsessed), and ended up playing with a pug that we thought might make a good addition to our family. We asked for a price and I was honestly expecting to be over paying somewhere around 2500, but they told us 5000!!! When we told the worker that the price seemed high we were quickly told about the older female pugs they had priced under 1000. The fact that the price drops so much as puppies age doesn't sit well with us. You could easily find these puppies straight from a reputable breeder for less than half of what petland wants to charge. I know that petland has health garuntees and other things in place to offer a better experience but 5000 for a puppy that you could find under 1000 somewhere else doesn't seem right at all.

Price gouging at it's finest! $5,800 for a Pug puppy is absolutely absurd. They don't do anything remarkably different than any other place... a microchip, vaccines and appropriate attention to health don't make the dog 5 times the price. Do the right thing and don't over-pay at PetLand for your pup.

Whatever you do don’t give them any information. Last time we went in to look at a puppy and a guy gave me a tablet that had videos of where they get their dogs from. You filled out your name and phone number. The videos were kind of interesting only they don’t tell you that they start texting you. When I got done watching the video the man asked how I would like to pay for the puppy we were looking at. I didn’t even say I wanted the dog. They send you links of new puppies. If you click on the link then some guy named Conrad immediately calls you wanting to high pressure you about puppies. I finally blocked them. I’m not sure why they would decide this is the way to go. Really puts you off from going there and we have bought dog supplies and fish supplies there.

I like petland but there were quite a few puppies that were on sale... Even some that were 50%off and IDK but it doesn't sit well with me that these dogs are aging in cages and essentially losing their value. I wonder what good could be if Petland only hosted shelter dogs. They are also more steeply priced for they're items in comparison to PetSmart and other stores

Purchased 2 angelfish on 1/27. I’m an experienced aquarist and generally have no issue with pet store fish. These fish are completely infested with camallanus worms. These worms feed on blood vessels in the digestive tract of the fish and eventually kill them. I could not save one fish and the other is a work in progress. Not only did this kill a fish I purchased, but will likely infect my other fish in the aquarium. This is an almost impossible task to eradicate these worms without significant spending on medication with no promise of a fix. Petland’s 7 day policy on the fish doesn’t help something like this. I will not be back to this store. I regret my purchase. Terrible quality.

Walked in Saturday. With my wife and kids. Came in for Dog food and advice cause my dog had puppies!. As we walked in Mali greeted us with eagerness and a willingness to help! She answered every question I had, and when she didn't know. She found out for me! oh, and guess what....she was only on the job for 3 weeks! Petland you need to get ahold of her and see if she has friends that need jobs. (birds of a feather). Great job Mali! your an employers dream. Don't let this world take that eagerness to help! Great Experience!

The staff here that we met Tonya specifically and the two others that worked with her on the 27th of April were outstanding. Tonya should really be a store manager. She solved our issues when there was a dispute over another manager giving special treatment to another customer that didn't pay a deposit but we was taken care of and the store was very clean, the animals areas were cleaned also, they all seemed to be in really good spirits this shows that the staff members do care about the pets and that's a monster impression on me. Anyone, looking to find pets, information or supplies I highly suggest going here and asking for Tonya.

$6000 for this unwell-looking, seemingly malnourished 11 week old Boxer, but he comes with a crate and they have a payment plan.My well-bred Boxer came from a responsible breeder and was $1200. Don't spend $6000 on a puppy that you don't even know where it came from. Do some research, have a conversation with a breeder, and you will have a companion, as well as a support system via the breeder!

Never stepped foot into the store but we found our baby girl cavachon online and fell in love. Dom was beyond amazing in helping us get the appropriate information and figuring out how to get our new baby girl to us. Crystal was also such a pleasure to deal with. Although Elyse was a little pricey, she came with all of the appropriate shots and a microchip. They were able to provide answers to all of our questions. Any unknown information, Dom made sure to find correct answers for us . If I ever make it out to Ohio, I would love to hug them to thank them. We are one super happy family in NJ thanks to Petland Pickerington!

Jessica and Sean gave us a great experience when purchasing our golden doodle. I share a lot of the same concerns as others when it comes to the sourcing and treatment of the animals, but we were provided with all of the information for the breeder, as well as pictures of the facility, AKC/ misc certifications, etc. They answered all of our questions and genuinely cared about the animals and their welfare. The price was reasonable given all of the extras she came with, and the overall price was on-par with the total cost of nearby breeders.

Nice selection of dogs if you looking for a new fido to take home. I will say when I went all the dogs were female, not sure if that's a thing they do or not. This location also has a ton of small critters. Example : ferrets/ fish / snakes / bunnies / gerbils and more. Store is a decent size and very clean. Staff is helpful but when they are slammed you may need to wait a second to be helped..but that is expected when a customer rush happens

Tonya a staff member is an amazing caring person. Everyone there was loving and understanding. My daughter went to play with the puppies and fell in love with one. We ended going back and forth three times and Tonya was so flexible. At the end her step father didn’t want her to get the dog, so we couldn’t buy it, but the company was so helpful and helped us through the emotional journey. Great caring place.

Took my nephew in to play with a puppy so I wasn't really looking to purchase anything. That did not matter to the employees as they were wonderful! Thank you!#Revisit : I came back in there today with my nephew, only because of how friendly everybody was last time! I made some purchases today and everyone was just as friendly as my last visit. Great customer service was the ONLY reason I came to this location as I passed at least 3-4 stores I could have gotten my needs from on the way. Keep up the good work! Thank you!
