The customer service has gone way down, nearly non existent. There are a few long time employees that seem to care. However most employees don't & it shows. Store is typically clean & shelves stocked. The one good service department is online pick up orders!

This store is a hot mess since the bur remodel happened. Used to love this store. But when the remodeling was underway I went elsewhere. Nearly every time since the remodel was finished I’m thankful I have options. Every time I try to give it another chance I again realize why I don’t shop here anymore. January 18, 2024 was no different. I can say one thing. Today I was either treated poorly as a human and a customer because of my gender or my skin color as I watched me being completely ignored yet others was taken care of. I’m pretty dang certain this isn’t the first time this has happened either there. Unacceptable and no I’m not gonna contact someone outside or this review to tell what happened. But you need to train the employees against this.

They have the new Krogo carts, similar to Amazon stores. Very neat and functional. Excellent service at the deli today! Very personable, and accommodating😊. Good sushi selection as well!

This location is set up well, it's clean and the employees all seem friendly and polite. I live by a different location and will drive the extra mile or so just to shop at this location.

Pickerington Ohio Kroger being remodeled & rearranged. Dark because lights are off, freezers have lights off. Have to walk almost the entire store to find things. No signs telling you they are remodeling. Very frustrating!

I always shop early Sunday morning. Kroger only has self checkout open which is tough with a large purchase. They do however usually have a couple self checkouts open that have the extended belt. Today one of them was being cleaned. Me doing with 2 other customers were told it wasn’t open cause of this. The light was on…. We had to make our large pitches through the small self checkout. This causes delays because when the bagging area is full and you remove your bags it calls for a person to come over because bags were removed. These people need to get their heads on straight and the blonde lady at the registers needs to understand when there are many people trying to check out- you don’t occupy a lane by cleaning it. This should be done prior to opening or open another lane. Even when I questioned if she could open another big lane she blatantly ignored me.

If you want to do a time efficient pick up order this is not the store for you. wait times are super long, seems understaffed, and orders are lost.

This location is always clean and well organized. It was touch and go there for awhile when they did the full store remodel, but I've made peace with the fact that the eggs and butter are now in the chip aisle. The produce is always fresh and well stocked and they carry Boar's Head meats & cheeses, which can be hard to find sometimes. The deli and bakery are great and they carry a much better selection of dry goods than Giant Eagle. The Private Selection store brand is pretty damn fantastic; far superior to the competition's in house brands. I'd have given 4 stars if it weren't for the lack of open checkout lanes on a Saturday afternoon and the clicklist carts causing congestion in every aisle. There were 3 lanes open today. Definitely not sufficient to handle the volume of shoppers. That's par fir the course at this location, though.

I am regular customer for this Kroger and I go there every week for grocery and other shopping. I used to get fresh items most of the time but today at the date of 05/03/2023 in the morning I had bought many things at the same time I got cut slice fruit (mixed of watermelon, Honeymelon ). That was really nastic and bad smelling.when I eat that fruit I felt really Weird taste. So they have to check Date of expiration because they don’t have right to sell expiration items. !!!

Scott in customer service is the worst!!!! He is rude and a miserable human being! He's already very unattractive. When he opens his rude mouth, he's down right ugly! He needs to be fired!

This store seemed to be organized well. My issue is that there were no carts to utilize. After just having surgery, I was forced to carry my groceries resulting in more pain. Also, the printer at the self checkout was out of receipt paper. It’s extremely crowded due to the holiday season but that’s no excuse for lack of open registers.

Very poorly ran location. I’ve had repeated issues at this location. First, the gentlemen who works the self check out. I believe he is a lead, dark hair, mid 30s I’d guess, beyond rude. He frequently has a poor attitude. I’ve gotten money orders, done returns, and have had items ring up wrong before and every visit he’s angry and short with each guest he has. Secondly, on Kroger’s checklist paper, it states if they substitute an item due to shortages, they won’t charge you the increased price. It states that on the Kroger’s paper they give you at the end and I am always charged. I go in for the refund and the manager on duty claimed I was misinformed and that wasn’t a policy at Kroger’s.. until I pointed it out on the Kroger’s document.

Customer here for over a decade. Still the only grocery I shop at, but it’s on a downward spiral, Had some fabulous managers that learned your name, hello Jeff, but he left eight or so years ago, and the new management was suboptimal. Jeff returned briefly, and things improved, but it was short lived. Lately store conditions, in stock, employee attire/attitude are shambolic. Sale items out of stock, eliminated Scan and Go, pickup carts blocking aisles with no regard for in person shoppers. Then there’s the Meat Dept. What is going on with the Service Meat Case being empty and unattended. You try to find and talk to a manager, and you get word salad nonsense. Dairy Dept is no better. Do love self scan customer service, Vanetta is the best. I used to shop there weekly, regularly spending over $200, but now I just go to pick up a couple of items and frequenting the cornucopia of local restaurants. Sad

My husband does self checkout and I'm at the other end of the long conveyor belt bagging while 3 employees doing nothing stand and watch us, offering no assistance. It was 6 p.m. and only 2 regular lanes were open but backed up. If they have that much staff to stand around, open another lane. Kroger doesn't pay me to work there.

I have been shopping at this location for a long time, but it has changed. The employees now are generally disrespectful, argumentative, and completely unprofessional. The Kroger ap where you supposedly clip coupons doesn't work; however that doesn't stop Kroger from deceptively offering sale prices around the store which you find out at the register you can't have because you didn't use the ap!Ridiculous. Who said I wanted to be tied to my phone while shopping in person anyway?I have had enough of this location. The one on Refugee is only 3 miles from me. I will try there and see if they respect their customers any better.

Store is clean, but I'm tired of being harassed about my internet provider every time I walk in the store. If waiting 10 people deep at the pharmacy wasn't bad enough, I have to explain away unwanted sales pitches.

Having a jolly evening with friends, I was appropriately ID'd but instead of completing the transaction peacefully, she decides to tell me her derogatory thoughts about the state I live in. Won't be buying anything here again.

Put in custom order for cake June 25th to be picked up July 3rd at noon. Went to pick it up and was told cake decorator was on vacation and there was no cake. Showed them my order confirmation and was told I can have a coupon towards a pre made cake to make it a little cheaper for me then there wasn't hardly any cakes even out there. Was frustrating today

Great prices and easy to find everything I wanted. They had sale prices for almost everything on my list. There was a mistake on one sales poster, but the customer service person was quick to offer a solution I could agree with. Between prices, convenience, and fuel points; there is no way to lose by shopping at Kroger Marketplace. I also love to go look at their furniture and home furnishings. They are reasonably priced AND so trendy. It is the relaxing part of any shopping trip.

Mngr Adam lied to my face and is very deceptive! Going back a week, I saw an item was marked down from $17.99 to $9.99. Thought it was a mistake so I grabbed an employee, brought them over and asked if it was correct. He said Kroger doesn’t set prices on alcohol, he checked it and said yeah, it is what it is and shrugged his shoulders. I bought 2, checked out, wrong price. Self checkout rep had someone go check, yup 9.99. She did an override and I was off. Fast forward to today 9 days later. Same $9.99, wife said take a pic to show so they don’t have to walk back. Checking out, wrong price, self checkout girl comes “it’s illegal for us to change price on alcohol. “ In comes Mngr Adam. Explained I bought a week ago no issues. Leaves to go check. Comes back 5mins later, “I didn’t see anything that shows $9.99, they’re all $17.99, you wanna show me?” Sure come on…while walking explained last week, he didn’t seem to care. We get to the shelf, “ see sir, nothing here for $9.99” Adam had RIPPED PRICE OFF THE SHELF!!!!!!!!! I was in shock, “really dude you ripped the price off??” “No there was nothing there” LOL..I had taken a picture of it!!! Went to show him and he’s like “it was marked wrong.” and started walking away! Told him I was fine paying the higher price but he didn’t have to be sneaky and purposely deceptive! He said “You don’t have to shop here if you don’t want to!” WHAT!?!?? Because he lied to me by saying there was no $9.99 price on the shelf because he tore it off???? He needs to lose his job, a disgraceful excuse for an employee!

I wanted to buy this but it would not ring up so they would not sell it to me. There wasn't a manager available to price it. Other than that, super big and nice Krogers.

This has been my go to Kroger... until today! They don't require mask in the store... I think that's a grave mistake... just selfish all around. I don't feel comfortable doing business with Kroger from here on out and that's sad. I have been letting all my friends know, too.

Great customer service at this location. More so than some of the Krogers in nicer neighborhoods. They always have enough lanes open to suit the frequent amount of traffic. And of course Kroger's has a great selection of food and other miscellaneous items.

So, I grew up in this area and lived here for many years. I still do now. In fact, I remember when Pepe's Play Place was in Kroger in the 90's; the kids play area where they watched kids while parents shopped. I remember the pre-COVID era too, where you could go to the grocery store for an emergency in the middle of the night. Between 1990-2010 your store was amazing! Need medicine for your child? Feminine hygiene products? Work 2nd or 3rd shift? No problem... but, all good things come to an end I guess even in the grocery store world. You really come to appreciate those things. Furniture/home goods, paper bags, child care, stickers, familiar faces of long time workers. Kroger has lost a lot of great employees over the years too where you no one stays working here long enough to see familiar faces. You used to have so many that were long haulers, and never would have left if not for poor changes in your store in recent years. The unfair circumstances for forcing vaccines on your employees was shocking to hear about also. I really have been missing decent hours of operation for a long time most of all. Now, you have to go to other chains for 24 hour stores. Closing here at 11pm... in Pickerington? Prices are through the roof too. I'll be here willing and waiting for those old days again because I'd take all of that stuff over a fancy looking, bigger store. It sure does really stink with these kinds of hours for a grocery store that for decades had such great food, great prices, and reasonable/flexible hours. Times are changing and not for the better in these instances. Kroger, at least go to 1am.... What is the point in having your fuel center only open and then closing the grocery also?? And only can get gas until 11:30 or 12am at the latest?? Will it ever go back to how it used to be?-Mars

I have noticed comments like "people who work here are snobby", which simply is NOT true. Our family has shopped here for 26 years (since it opened) and for 6 years when it was across the street. We have had nothing less than very good experiences! Thank you to the Kroger staff for taking great care of us over the years...here's to many more!!
