It's the best butcher shop I have found in the area, which includes shops in Archbold and Defiance. Pros: solid selection and flavorful steak cuts, beef jerky, and sausages, as well as local products (canned goods, sauces, rubs and spices, etc). I have found good sirloin for stroganoff and ribeye here, but the New York strips have been so so. Cons: overall, i'm not a fan of their baked goods (too sweet), their premade frozen meals (I have had the mac and cheese and lasagna - both seemed expensive yet cheap tasting), or the deli salads/desserts (some are okay, not great). I have not tried their hot food of the day menu yet.

This place is my go to deli meat, brats, sausage patties, meat sticks and the most delicious turkey dill dip ever!! I go atleast once a week to get my deli meat!! Very cute shop and super friendly staff!! Oh and the best prices I've seen yet!!

Best jerky around! My son and his father in law request regular mail delivery of many bags all the way to New Jersey because it is the best they have ever had. I love the potato salad and have to get my fix as often as possible. Definitely worth the trip from Defiance!

This is THE best place for meat in NW Ohio. And I'm not slamming other butcher shops, but we've always had the very best quality from Pettisville Meats. Their steaks are wonderful and their specialty pork chops are really outstanding. They also make fresh salads in house and they are also wonderful....especially the turkey salad. It is outstanding.Very highly recommend Pettisville Meats.

A huge selection of frozen and fresh items from hamburgers and sausages to salads, ready-to-bake casseroles, and baked goods. They also have a deli case with meats and cheeses ready to be sliced for your sandwich needs, and they have a refrigerator case of picnic salads that usually a welcome sight on most tables in the area. Most days, they have hot and ready to eat fare like ribs, sausages, and chicken halves, smoked on their own smoker out in front of the store. Be prepared for a line, especially during the summer, that will stretch around the inside of the store, but it usually moves at a good speed.

I love this butcher shop they have a deli, fresh cut meats and cheeses. There are frozen meats baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad. Nearly everything you need for a picnic. One of my favorite markets.

We love getting our meats here! We especially love the Hawaiian Sausage, the potato salad, and the marinated butterfly pork chops. Go before Friday, though, bc it's SRO on Friday afternoons!
