This was my first and only visit to this restaurant. My dad chose it because it has so many good reviews and was rated very high ratings!.. upon stepping inside, no one came to greet us for approximately 3-5 minutes. There was no sign saying whether we should wait to be seated, or to seat ourselves. We weren’t sure what to do so, we peeked around the corner until, eventually, we saw a server waiting on a table. She walked past us once and since she didn’t say anything, we approached her and asked her if we should just seat ourselves. She said yes. We weren’t expecting the onion rings that we ordered to be barely-breaded. They were still good. Flies were inside and annoying to swat away from our food and drinks. Food quality could have been better. Not sure why this place has so many good reviews.. must be because of it’s small town charm to its locals.?

Was really excited for this place and would have loved to give it a 4 star after the mozzarella sticks. Sadly, quite a few things went wrong during the meal that just made me question the experience. For starters, I wanted to order the noodles with mashed potatoes, and was really excited to try something new. I asked our waitress to make sure that mine had no gravy on it because i’m a vegetarian and I don’t eat meat. However, when the dish is brought out there is a gravy on the noodles. So I waited for our waitress to come back so I could ask her what it was exactly. We waited for about 15 minutes in which our waitress actually never came to check back with us. So we had to ask another waitress what it was and we were told that it was a chicken gravy pre-made with the noodles, which we were not informed about and thought there would be no gravy on the dish. Our waitress barely checked on us, and we had a lot of time just waiting around to ask for things as we decided to dine outdoors. Along with this, a lot of the food tasted canned or pre-made and frozen which was disappointing. We also asked why there were customers allowed to dine without masks and received a very rude response. We were told that they didn’t feel they should have to force their customers to wear masks. Which made me feel uncomfortable after dining here. The only things saving this place from a one star review were the decent prices and delicious mozzarella sticks. I wish I would have found somewhere else. I really hate to leave a bad review but this experience here was just not very good sadly.

Like traveling in time to an era when service and homemade food were the only types of dining available. Outstanding service, great hometown atmosphere, incredible food, and cleanliness that would surpass anyone's grandmother's standards. The homemade bakery surrounding the entrance and cash register is was too enticing to pass up. We passed this gem on the way in to a backpacking trip at Mohican. Not only am I glad we stopped on the way back, but I would drive the extra 20 minutes or so from Rt 71 past all of the franchise restaurants, and eat here if I'm anywhere near this area.

A local diner with lots of local charm. Accepts credit cards. The food is inexpensive and good, but the real treasure is all of the homemade desserts available. Buckeyes with the telltale toothpick hole (a sign it is homemade), no bake cookies, multiple flavors of other cookies, pecan bars, coffee cake, and pastries. All of these are available to take on the go, so we typically purchase a couple small containers to give us delicious sweets for the weekend. Overall can't oversell how great this place is.

It may be a small place but the food is great. The Reuben with fried mushrooms is the real deal. Would order everything on the menu if I could eat it all.

We used to like going here. This time the food was old greasy and slow. Mashed potatoes, noodles, salad, baked fish all you can eat took forever for first small piece second piece took even longer. Maybe it depends on what we order. Last time we had the chicken it was good this time horrible. Slow service not crowded. We used to come and it was packed but not anymore. Something must have changed.

My wife and I stopped by for a late breakfast this past Thursday. We like trying new restaurants and checking out the surrounding area afterwards. As soon as you walk in the door of the WedgeWing, you are met with a variety of baked goods on display. It was a gauntlet of goodness and delicious treats. I could hear the Apple Fritters calling my name. How did they know my name? Turns out it was my wife getting my attention to stop ogling the pastries.Once seated, our friendly waitress came to our table, provided menus and took our drink order. So many things to choose from on the menu, but I settled on the Breakfast Skillet and I'm glad I did. It's a nice hearty meal, and the homemade toast was amazing. There's no doubt we will return again. With such a nice variety of meals to choose from, I will try something new with each visit. The waitresses we spoke with were just great. We found a new favorite restaurant to add to our list, and it's a nice drive to Perrysville. We would gladly choose a hometown restaurant like this, over a chain restaurant any day. The customer service and quality of the food is so much better, than some chain restaurant where they heat up previously prepared, bags of 'food.' Support hometown gems like the WedgeWing. I can't wait to come back.As it turned out, that Apple Fritter made its way home with me. It didn't last long.Parking: Big parking lot in the back.Kid-friendliness: They have a bulletin board on the wall of drawings made by children who are customers. How cool is that!

Four of us went in for breakfast. It was Saturday morning about 10 AM and had to wait about 15 minutes (that’s a good sign)I had the breakfast burrito with sausage which was pretty good but a little dry.One person ordered French toast which was pretty good. (not made with store-bought bread)The waitresses kept our coffee cups full!Prices were about average.

The food was awesome!! The bread is home made and let me tell you I want the recipe! It was sooo good. Everything was the service was great. The food was delicious, and they also have all kinds of other goodies you can take home. Or in our case camping. We got the lemon cakes, they are super moist and covered in glaze. Yum. They also have pies, cookies, cupcakes and donuts. Well worth the stop.

Just a good down home independent restaurant, trying to stay in business. Everything was awesome, even the other customers. It's good to get away from the hub bub of the city once in a while. I wish they were closer but we have good local restaurants around here too.Parking: Oddly placed handicapped spots but they are right by the entrance ramp.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy enough, because of the people there. Not a large place but very accommodating.
