8 April 24, I had to get my wingman, partner and best friend Goober, a Dachshund, in to be examined. I've been going to South Suburban Animal Hosp since 2016. There were two docs that we always asked for. Today, I was forced to see a different due to availability. We were BLESSED...If you don't choose Dr. Alli George you are passing up an angel. This lady is incredible...being a vet to her is a passion and calling...not a job. Compassion and understanding and love of animals is how she rolls. I've been thanking God I was pushed into her path. Now I'm sure my little man Goober is getting excellent, knowledgeable care with love...not that it wasn't that type prior...but now it's been taken to a whole new level. Thank you, South Suburban and thank you, Dr. George.

I absolutely love this vet! I’ve brought my dog Winnie here for the past two years and have had 0 issues or complaints with any staff member, or the care that they’ve given to my baby! I just got a new pup and called to book an appointment, and the receptionist was patient, understanding, and extremely helpful! They help explain finances, their policies, and anything you could think of asking without making you feel like a burden or your asking too much! :) The vets are always very kind and will explain anything for you that you need clarification on. They’re the type of people who seem to actually enjoy their jobs, and they always have a positive/ good attitude about everything! :) 10/10 recommend you take your fur babies here!

My puppy hurt her shoulder and my normal vet couldn’t get her in for two days. I called South Suburban and explained the situation and they got me in immediately. We weren’t even patients for their office but they cared so much for my dog that they made it happen. The staff and doctor was so good to my puppy! They will be our vet from here on out! Can’t recommend them enough!

Kind, supportive and knowledgeable staff that will help you and your pet with care and with the best interests of your pet in mind. Clean facility, great staff and location. Affordable good quality care!They literally saved the life of our beloved cat who suddenly fell ill with acute kidney failure! I was shocked when I was told she (my cat) was in critical condition (cats apparently are good at hiding their sicknesses) and felt lost and helpless, but Dr George took immediate action and guided us closely through the process and helped save her life! They maintained open communication throughout the period she was hospitalized and I felt at ease knowing that my cat was getting good quality care.They even gave my cat a bath before she was discharged because she was covered in pee and diarrhea and medicine!I feel so lucky and grateful that my pet got her care here at her moment of need! Thank you!!!!

What an awesome bunch of animal lovers, my dog Wrangler was treated with such care on his visit for shots, he even got a free massage! Can’t guarantee that will happen for your furry little creature, but they were awesome! The whole staff makes you feel right at home, they have two friends for life now!

This was my first time going here and I was very impressed. All of the staff were very personable and compassionate. Dr. Eisenhour was incredible. She was very down to earth and caring for my sick dog. She even went above and beyond and called me the following day to check in on him. I would highly reccomend this place.

Had such an amazing first experience with Dr. Murray and the rest of the staff. They were able to get me in right away and were conscious of my budget while still delivering top of the line care for my four legged family. It was a very welcoming environment and I didn't feel pressured to do anything I couldn't afford at the time. I will be going back!

Dr.Murray was very nice and knowledgeable. All the staff was very friendly and good with my dog. Just took away one star because everything did seem a little more pricey here compared to other vets. But very happy with the care.

Recently made the switch from our old vet and so incredibly glad we did! After a big scare this morning I called the office who were so nice and accommodating on the phone and got us in immediately for an appointment. we got there within 10-15 minutes from the phone call, they had a room waiting for us as we walked in and had immediate care from multiple people and the doctor. We were updated throughout our visit and I can not be more thankful for the quick and great care we received today! This was only our second visit and we feel so grateful for the doctors and making the switch to better care for our pup!

Absolutely fantastic service. When I took my little guy in for his first appointment everyone was so attentive and willing to answer every question I had and give advice I didn't even know I needed. And even though he was super nervous they were so sweet to him and helped him feel better!

I could not say enough good things about Dr. Anderson and the staff of South Suburban. We experienced nothing but compassion, quality care and close attention from the beginning. Our dog was diagnosed with a very advanced mass that may have been missed by a previous vet and we received excellent surgical care to allow us some more time with her.

A special thank you to Dr. Murray and all the staff at South Suburban Animal Hospital who took their time to care for our beloved family member and pet Zena during her time of need.Thank you Dr. Murray for taking the time out of your practice and putting in every effort possible to make sure Zena returned home to us. Zena is more active than ever and is so happy to be home playing with her sister again. I personally will recommend this veterinarian clinic to any pet owner!The veterinary care here is incredible! I would reccomend this animal hospital to anyone. They have reasonable prices and will always strive to make sure your pet has the best care they need to come back home to you and your family safely. They are also very efficient with scheduling appointments.

They are all about money. Barb at the front desk is ruid and unprofessional. They just want to make an appointment and do testing everything that cost alot of money. All i was asking for was to talk to a tech to ask a couple questions before I go an make an appointment and that was an issue. Then at my appointment dr James says I'm an issue and I am not welcome back and they have left my cat to go find help somewhere else. They are about seeing patients in volume. Quantity not quality and when I called them out on it they didn't like it. Beware.

I had an emergency with my dog. I drove there. Did not call ahead. When I arrived the front desk acted quickly. Didn’t question anything. Took my dog right back in seconds. Barb was excellent. And Dr Anderson and her staff worked quickly. Such a great experience. My dog is 15 and still going after very serious seizures.

Dr. Henderson is fantastic! She has seen our dog sooo many times due to his severe allergies. He recently had a cyst burst and she took special care to clean it and make sure it would heal.

Yes, the vet itself is a nice place. The care is good overall. I waited 30 minutes past my apportionment time to get into a room, then another 30 plus minutes to be seen. This was on a Tuesday evening. Just beyond ridiculous. Call your patients and tell them you’re running that far behind to reschedule for a different day. I’d rather the app get scheduled than sit and do nothing for an hour waiting. This is a routine visit and should not have taken 2 hours out of my evening. Saw the doc for literally two minutes. He would not provide any sort of discount for my hour and 10 minute wait, and for a simple 2 minute visit. I will be finding a new vet.

We adopted our adorable puppy on a Saturday and I called on Monday morning and I was ecstatic to get Quincy checked out the very next day. The office staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, quick to enter the room to visit us and answered my multiple questions with patience.

I love the service and the promptness of questions/concerns about my fur baby but the pricing killsssss meee!!! I mean you get what you pay for! Which is amazing service! Annual exam/shots total was $275. If you’re on a budget don’t go here. The very first visit I had there I called all the vets in the area and asked for the soonest available appointment… mostly told 2 weeks out, no questions asked. Called south suburban and asked about the soonest appointment… before they told me they were scheduled xx amount of time out they asked what was wrong with my fur baby!! They were able to squeeze her in the next day!!! <3My girl was diagnosed with pancreatitis and has to be on a vet prescribed diet ($$$) petsmart was out of her wet food. I called asking for a recommendation for a replacement… they were able to send 2!! Replacement prescriptions for me to their vet clinic (ban field) within 10 minutes!!! If you have a fur baby on a prescription diet then you understand the urgency/panic of the store being out of their food!! (Especially when you procrastinate restocking)If you are willing to pay for amazing service then I would choose this place for the best service for your fur baby/babies and for the peace of mind, promptness, always answering your questions or concerns over phone (if they don’t know they will ask the vet and call you back in a timely manner) worth every penny!
