I am new in the area and tried Plontzie's for the first time. I am very pleased. The people are very friendly and the groomer did exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this place to my friends and will definitely go back. My two Shih Tzu's were happy and relaxed. The prices are affordable but most of all my dogs were mentally relaxed.

I had to wait over eight months to get on their mobile grooming service. When the time came, they informed me the person on my “route“ had quit. They did send someone for that first grooming, but said we would have to wait to reschedule at a different time. When I called back, they stated I would have to bring my dogs in to their location instead. Very disappointing customer service.

Randomly charged ‘overage’ fee because groomer couldn’t finish within 2 hours??Had my standard goldendoodle groomed at Plontzies about 8 times now and never had an issue other than a few times getting razor burn on his belly or inside of his thighs but this last time they charged me ‘overage’ because it took the groomer over 2 hours to complete his groom?? I’ve never had a time where I picked him up within 2 hours and it has always taken about 4 hours and never been charged this before but I’m sure they work as fast as possible to get it done within 2 hours, yeah right! Just another excuse to charge more. They also did his anal glands which is extra but I didn’t request this service! Grooming is decent but poor business practices

We tried Plontzies Grooming for the first time to groom our toy poodle/Havanese mix - he's a small dog. We are very pleased with his cut and he even behaved himself. The groomer seemed really nice. We will definitely use Plontzies again and would recommend them to others.

I have been a long time customer at Plontzie's. My dogs love going there. Andi grooms my dog regularly. She has always cared for my dogs as if they were her own. I feel comfortable with my dog in their care, and I'm always happy with the results. I know that when I take my Border Doodle to his next appointment, he will be greeted cheerfully by the entire staff, and Benji will have a great day being pampered. I give them 5 stars!!! Took my pup for a full grooming session and the staff at Plontzies were so great with her. I wanted to stay in case there were any issues as she is elderly and has recently become paraplegic. They chose to groom her first and were done in a little over an hour. Great job also! Exactly what I was hoping for and she didn't appear all stressed out after the experience - a BIG plus! Considering all the extra effort I'm sure they had to go through to groom her, the cost was very affordable. Will definitely take her again whenever she needs to be groomed as I truly believe they honestly care about their furry clients.

My dog Bentley and I LOVE Plontzie's! We had been all over town finding the right groomer for him without much luck. I heard about Plontzie's and decided to give them a try. They are the BEST! Hannah has been grooming him for almost a year now and she is the sweetest! You can tell she really loves the dogs and she does amazing work for a great price. The salon is always very clean and the staff is very friendly!

I had this company come out to my house back in March and I felt it was a little pricy but I understood because they are coming out to my house. It was $98 not including tip so not too bad. I get my dog groomed every 3 months and I bath her a pet value every month in between. I decided to get her groomed at Plontzie’s again because my son does Karate at the place next to this location. They quoted me the same price with all the extras and I set a day and time. The lady showed up over 30 minutes late and took forever to do the grooming. I was stuck at home for over 2 and a half hours and it was such an inconvenience for me. By the time I had to pick my son up from school she still wasn’t done and I had to leave. By the time I got back she was pulling out and I received a text charging me $37 more than originally quoted. I stopped in their location and they said it was due to time!!! I was not happy and completely dissatisfied by the way the worker (Katie) behind the desk was snarky to me. Saying things like, they told you back in March they charge extra! I found her rude and terrible at customer service!! She had no compassion and demanded payment. I told her when I let here a couple of weeks ago you told me I’d be charged the same price. She used an excuse that my dogs hair must be thicker. I laughed because nothing has changed from her normal grooming and baths per month. SUCH A SCAM TO TAKE MORE MONEY! I feel bad because I refuse to leave a tip and I’ve never done that in my entire life. But this is on them. I will never use their services again. My brother knows the owner and told me to go there and I hope she knows how misleading her employees are to her customers. I’ll never go back. And I will never recommend this place and if I hear of people looking I’ll be sure to inform them.

They groomed my dog once, was satisfied with results of grooming. I was not satisfied with punctuality and amount of contact. They called me 2 times to try and reschedule initial appointment. Then the day of appointment they called 5 times within 30 minutes. Apparently the van wouldn’t start. While I appreciate the contact that they would be running late, 5 phone calls in excessive. Since I was satisfied with the grooming I scheduled another appointment before the groomer left. within a week of scheduled appointment and they called me 3 times to reschedule. I did reschedule to better fit my schedule. They called the morning of appointment...once again van problems....while I understand cold weather can cause issues with vehicles the business owner/manager should also know this and make arrangements to have vehicles started early to avoid these issues. Especially when the vans are as old as they are. I canceled my appointment, will not reschedule and will not use them again

My initial review of last year was great. But now I wish I could give ZERO STARSMy experiences have gotten progressively worse with Plontzie's this year. Both the 9 month old, and the one year old puppy( who i brought there the latter half of last year and started off being completely fine) are completely TRAUMATIZED going to the groomer now. I was just asked by another groomer where they were before, as they were absolutely petrified of being groomed now.Things I did notice:-They constantly mixed my 2 dogs up-both dogs scooted for the next week after the appointments-uneven cuts and charged more for certain visits than others-the new puppy would hide for the rest of the day once he got home, andthe other would have extreme anxiety and demand me to hold him forthe entire dayI don't know what happened during grooming to cause all this. But I will NEVER set food in that place again.this is why their reviews are on a steady decline. Re-evaluate your groomers and employees

Was so sad when my old groomer went out of business after the shutdown. Reluctantly tried a few other places trying to find someone as good as the last place. Plontzie's was my third try and to my surprise, they were even better! By far the cutest cut my little one has ever had. Already booked her next appointment.

I have 4 Leonbergers and a Pitbull and they all looked wonderful when I picked them up. And if you know anything about Leonbergers... they average 170lbs and have so much hair its hard to see my hardwood floors. Plontzie's helped me so much with mattes and wild and unruly hair.

Do not make an appointment here. I made an appointment for my dog as we were moving to a new home the next day and wanted her to be clean for our first day. I got a call confirming the appointment the day before and the day of I got a call saying they were cancelling. Now nobody has availability to get her in and I’m moving to a new home with a dirty dog. I cannot say how disappointed and upset I am. What a terrible terrible waste.

I inherited a Maltese that was in need of some TLC. I took him to Plontzies to get his fur straightened out and expected the worst. The last groomer this dog had been to (not Plontzies) had complained about how he acted while he was being groomed. We found fleas on him later that day that were a result of the poor sanitation conditions at the other groomer. The staff was friendly and caring and asked if there was anything they needed to know. I told them about his last grooming and said they would take care of him. When I picked him up 4 hours later I could not believe the transformation. They had to trim him short but did an excellent job. They bathed him, trimmed his nails, and cleaned his ears. When I picked him up he smelled like vanilla. I will be taking him there on a regular basis. If you are considering a groomer please visit Plontzies at least once. The price is unbeatable and the staff is the best around.

With a total price of $65 plus tips, there remains a certain expectation of quality, so one could imagine the disdain when the dog returns with bright red ears and a bleeding paw that did not stop flowing despite pressure for 15 minutes. I was very impressed with this groomer. I have been to several different groomers in Perrysburg and Rossford that would SHAVE my dog down to skin and she would look like a skinned rat But Ponzies proved they truly cared about my Lhasa's wellbeing. They did a BEAUTIFUL grooming and her coat was gleaming! Would definitely recommend Ponzies!

Jason - while I appreciate that you responded to my 15 year olds negative review from our last appointment, what I did not appreciate today was finding out that following that negative review you chose to cancel all of our scheduled appointments through the end of the year without informing us. As you mentioned we have been a long term customer. As a business owner I respect your right to refuse service for negative comments, however I’d like to suggest rather than saying I should have called you maybe it should have been the other way around.

At first Plontzie's had been doing well with my dog Brutus. At his second grooming I had noticed that the inside of his rear leg had been groomed too close and left a rashy wound. No biggy I thought, maybe Brutus had moved when his leg was being shaved. On his 3rd visit the entire underneath side of his penis shaft had been hamburgered. Oh come on now! You know that has to hurt. I watched him tend to his wound over the next two weeks. On this our 4th and final visit. I had asked that the groomer that shaved him last time not groom him again and explained the reasons why. When I picked him up the groomer commented that she and the other groomer that shaved him last time had noticed that his stomach area was very sensitive when they worked in that area. Well, I too would be sensitive if someone had hamburgered up the bottom side of my penis and was working around there again.Overall, I would have to say the inner office communication needs to be improved to keep things like this from happening again.

The staff is wonderful.My groomer does not listen to my instructions.My dog has large warts and every time they shave the tops off.Bled at night.Sad so sad!! He shaved him down to the skin.I could have done that.His ears are uneven .Poodles have a certain look and this is not it.
