I am impressed by the look and smell and variety of products this meat market has. Uniquely decorated with dozens of vintage chip cans. Clean and full of fun side foods like chocolate covered peanuts, baked good and bread. The meat selection was amazing. The out side of the store looks turn of the century brick. Neat and well manicured.

Love, love, love the atmosphere at Frobose Meat Locker ❤️ Always quality meat at a fantastic price. Amazing selection of brats in just about any flavor you can imagine. Beer and kraut brats are my favorite. 23.5 lbs of brisket going on the smoker tomorrow. And can't wait to get this BEEF BACON cooked up.

Made the trip out to Frobose several times with a good experience. Called the shop twice about a possible deal on a grillers package for a athletic raffle. First time was told to call back and talk to a manager or owner, called back and the person on the phone had no personality and spoke to me like he had no time for me. He was not helpful in anyway and just referred me to their website.

Drove all the way out to Pemberville... got to the store at 4:15 (knowing they closed at 5:00). Open the door to a strong cleaning smell, case was empty and they were "cleaning up because we close at 5:00." Might want to think about *selling* till 5:00. Last trip I'll ever make out there.

Very disappointed. I was told I didn't need to place an order, that they have it on hand. When I got there they didn't have their own advertised product! They didn't even offer to make one. Very poor customer service.☹️

I always get great service even when they are busy and I feel welcome even though I'm from out of town. The quality of their product's is very good and they are reasonably priced. When I had my teeth pulled and was embarassed to go anywhere, they accepted me as is. I would highly recommend this shop.

Friendly to the locals. Those from out of town….not so much. Stood at the register for probably 5 minutes waiting for someone to ring us out while probably 7 employees all walked around chatting it up with each other or people that walked in that they knew. Not one hello or how are you when we walked in. Looked at us like we were unwelcome in their store. Meat is good and a fair price, but I can honestly say I don’t feel a need to go back.

Would give no stars if possible! Went in today for the 40lbs of chicken breast special. Told the worker what I wanted he said "no problem". I get home to find it's 40lbs of chicken wings. He never said "Sorry that's at the store, not the meat market." When I called the store to see about switching out the boxes tomorrow they said too bad I'm stuck with the wings. Was also told it's my fault that I didn't open and check the box before I left the store.

Been a customer for over 10years always had a good experience until today. Called and spoke with them about pricing on a product that myself and family members buy regularly as the price was $100 dollar increase and was treated rudely by Ben who claimed he was the owner. I will never patronize this business again nor will my family. So disappointed.

Ok. I wasn't sure what to expect. So here it goes good and bad. Good.... excellent selection of meats to choose from... Bad..out of a lot of stuff I wanted. Good, not crowded when I got there at 3pm, but more followed behind...bad ,no room in store. I expected it to be a bit larger. Now,. The red head behind the counter touched all my meat without gloves. She was not friendly at all, but did ask if would like anything else, but that's about it. No smile, no friendly vibe. Now on to product to be fair, I haven't tried any of the meat, because I just picked it up today. I have been told my most everyone that the meat is by far the best. To me it was a bit pricey. But if it's that good, I won't care. All I ask is retrain your staff to be more health dept ready for an inspection. I don't want you to have violations because someone got lazy!!

I went to Frobose Meat Market yesterday. I wanted to purchase the half a hog package. I called to make sure they still had one available. They said yes. I asked if it was for $139.95 like stated on the website. I was told yes. I walked in and ordered it. They said it was $169.95. I told them I was told $139.95,and the website said $139.95 and the pamphlet in store said same thing. NOWHERE in the store could I find where they had risen the price. It was not posted anywhere. Finally I said ok, handed the cashier my card to run the purchase through. I put my pin in and my phone buzzed with the purchase alert. The cashier said it declined. I said it didn’t and showed where it took the money. Then a reversal pop up. So we tried again it declined again. I had to leave and call the bank. The bank said the store canceled the first transaction. The second was flagged as fraud. The bank fixed my card and I left without making another transaction. Today I got up and the reversal was gone and I was charged for a purchase I never completed.Not only that problem, the half a hog package I was trying to purchase was more like a half a piglet.

Incredible to have such a great butcher in our hometown. I stopped in today to get some steaks and picked up some beauties. Always satisfied with the marbling of their rib eyes. Yummy in my tummy tonight!

We shop here weakly, best meat around, fresh and local!! As for the negative reviews... I'd trust the fact that Frobose has been in business for almost two decades, their commitment to the community, and long lines. If your in town, also check out Frobose IGA.

What a Joke! I called a few moments ago and had the worst phone experience I think I have ever experienced. Being new to processing meat arena, Frobose was recommended to me by 4 people! Great I thought, until I was transferred to a knowledgeable synical employee who informed me, that if he were able to process my hog it would be the end of 24 and if there werent a lack of help (which we all face) a lack of kill shelters and the fact that we are swamped, this will be an indefinite decision to not process hogs...I will eloborate to say, after I heard all of the radio segements and the 4 reviews from friends, I couldn't wait to visit....Now I can assure you, it will be indefinite decision to never visit this establishment.

I don't know what Steve is talking about. Show me a place around here that sells better meat and has better service and I will buy you a steak from there.Cleanest butcher in the county. Prices can't be beat. Service might be slow if they are packed with customers (and they are always busy, because they are the best), but they will get to you and they have always been friendly.I would invite Steve to come back, I assure you that wouldn't happen, if at all, again.

Dont bother! Customer service F-.Just rude! " Thats what happens when you show up just before we close" We arrived at 4:20...the last post i saw said they close at 5!Had product but no one to cut it!Case was empty for cleaning! I understand that! But a busy holiday weekend i think i would have planned that better for business needs! While we were there there was still people coming in to shop!Selection in freezer is ok!Little Pricey!!!

Pretty much the only place that I buy my meat from!!!! They are the very reason that I am able to stop eating fast food hamburgers. Very friendly and took the time to teach me about different cuts and various other things. Excellent quality meats!

Very nice meat shop. Small store, but they have a large selection of meats, including buffalo. They also have a large selection of bratwurst ranging from regular pork and chicken brats to Cajun and rib meat bratwurst. They even have a red white and blue bratwurst
