I recently took my dog, Odessa, here for cremation and they were incredibly nice. I only had CareCredit to pay with, and no cremation place would take it. So I called them and I was so happy when they said they took it. Treated with respect, kindness and care. I will definitely be making them my vet since moving to Pataskala.

Recently our kitty passed away very unexpectedly. I can't say enough nice things about how easy the staff made the entire process and how helpful they were through everything. I really love to board my fur babies at Refugee Canyon (Pataskala). The staff are always very efficient and kind and make us feel very comfortable leaving our pets in their care. The building is always clean and smells good, and the price and location are great. As long as there is space available, it will definitely be my go-to for boarding.

Thee Vets and staff have been amazing. We have gone to both their locations and have had great services. Our dogs don't mind getting in the car when we say, "Let's go to the Vets!" They jump right in the car.

My fiance and I drove nearly 40 miles to see Dr. Coe for emergency care for our sweet dog. Out of the countless centers I contacted for help, Refugee Canyon was our last hope and the staff here went above and beyond to help us with a very heartbreaking and difficult situation. The selflessness and love the staff here showed to us and our Hazel is not something you see everyday, and the generosity will never be forgotten. I will make the 40 mile drive to Refugee Canyon every time our pets need care in the future.

Our 1 1/2 year old lab Murphy loves going to Refugee Canyon. We often leave for long trips and we know he is very well taken care of there. They do a wonderful job grooming him with his baths and clipping his nails.We also have used Rich for obedience training. Murphy has had two in home lessons with Rich and he is a much calmer and understanding dog. Before he would pull us all over the place when we took him for walks. Know he knows to heel and calmly walks by our side. He was very bad at chewing on things and constantly jumping up on people. Now he leaves things alone (except for his chew toys) and listens to his "off" command when he jumps up on people.He is even trained to not eat his food until we tell him it is time to "EAT".I would highly recommend this place to ANYONE who is looking to board their pet for a long trip. Or just to get groomed or bathed. If your dog is in need of obedience training ask for Rich, he does a very thorough job with proven results. Trust me!!This is almost like taking our dog to a spa. Very well pampered. HIGHLY recommended!!

Have been taking my Goldendoodle , Snickers, here for 9 yrs for grooming. She can't wait to get to see Jody her groomer . Always comes out looking beautiful! Thanks Jody for taking such good care of my fur baby!

This place is terrible. I took my dog here to be groomed and asked that a couple inches be cut off his long white hair (he is a Maltese Shih Tzu mix). When I picked him up the groomer Jodi had shaved him! When I asked for someone to call me so I could discuss my frustrations, I was called back by a condescending Dr. Williams. She tried to treat me like I was an idiot and told me that maybe there was a "misunderstanding" and that I didn't hear Jodi say she might have to shave my dog because he had 3 mats in his hair because Jodi had laryngitis (this whole conversations was fabricated by Jodi to cover her mistake, my dog DID NOT have mats and we did not discuss anything except her cutting a couple inches off his hair!). During my conversation with the Dr. I once again reiterated that I had specifically said that I wanted 3 inches left on my dog's body, to stress that I had not approved him to be shaved. The Dr. said "Well she can't do that." I told her that Jodi should have told me that and I would have taken him to another groomer, to which her response was, "Well maybe you should do that then." Instead of admitting fault and apologizing to their loyal client of 2 years, this place finds it a good business practice to not only employ a groomer with zero grooming skills and no integrity, but to support them when they make mistakes and then lie about the facts. After this and then seeing the cut she made in my dog's stomach with the clippers, there is NO WAY I would ever return and I warn anyone who reads this, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
