I’d give negative if I could. Was accused of giving an invalid code for a free MINI blizzard like I was trying to screw them over for a mini blizzard then after he turned the blizzard upside down (like they all always do) I told him the girl last night didn’t do it and he said they don’t do free blizzards and to drive back and look at the menu (he yelled it) and I asked why they do that then he said “cause it’s fun” so I asked for his name and said he wasn’t going to and he’s the GM “so there!” And slammed the windows shut. Do NOT support these a-holes and go to the new one on Broad. If you’re not a participating store in that THEN NO ONE SHOULD DO IT!! Ever since Charlie the old owner sold it to those people it hasn’t been the same.

This place is the most disrespectful Dairy Queen I have ever been to. The so called “GM” that he called himself! Slammed the drive through window in my wife’s face tonight over our mini free blizzard, and when she asked him for his name because we are going to corporate he stated I don’t have to give you my name, and slammed the window in her face! All business should have cameras and we are calling corporate over this because the disrespect is unacceptable and no one should be treated the way he treated my wife tonight specially a paying customer like us because we go here 3-4 times a week after we get our 2 new born babies asleep to treat ourself! This kind of management is what will ruin a business and I know we live in Columbus but in Pataskala you feel like you should get the small town respect and courtesy and we will never go here again because of this and I know this can’t be his first time with his outburst at customers and I hope if there is more that you come forward because something honestly needs done about how he treated my wife, this is not the Dairy Queen standards and even if privately owned they should not be aloud to treat anyone like they treated my wife!

We had a problem with the app and our order, and asked for manager and was hung up on the phone! My wife calls back up there and asks again to talk to a manager and the guy says there is not one there but if she would come up they could fix the problem. My wife goes up and a boy comes out not a worker and says he is the nephew of the owner and there is nothing they can do to help! No worker would come out so she could get our order right and my wife left because there was a line and didn’t want to make a scene! We support local business and when we do eat out try to always have a great experience but disrespect and being rude to a customer should never happen!

This is a Beautiful new DQ right by the freeway on your way to Pataskala! 1st time there after passing several times!Place was clean outside& service was nice & order was done quick & correct 💯 ty 🙂 DQ.

I would give a negative star if I was able. Stood at counter with 5 employees grouped together & they made eye contact but never acknowledged me. Walked out! I've given this location multiple chances. Be prepared to get half empty containers with a miniscule amount of toppings. Last time!! Went to McDonald's.

Stood at the counter forever and no one ever said boo to us. The woman at the drive thru kept looking at me like I was scum on her shoe. Never smiled, never said hello. Nothing. We finally just left after 10 plus minutes of waiting. The manager was in a booth talking on her phone never even looked up when I said very loudly that no one has come up to the counter and said a word to me. If this is how this town treats guests I am out and never coming back.

Stopped here on our way home from Cincinnati. Thought it would be better than the same old fast food... Wrong! The burgers were dry and the buns were sweet. The combo did not go together well at all. The cheese curds were good and the fries were well cooked though. I probably won't stop here again

On Sept. 8th I bought a box of Dilly Bars from the Etna Dairy Queen. I did not eat one until 2 days later. They were old and broken. It did not taste very good. I tried to take it back today to replace the box. At first I was told I could have a refund of the ones left in the box. (4 out of 6). Then they said I could not have a refund that it had been over a week and I could have let them melt. I did not let them melt and it had only been 6 days. I took them right home and put them in the freezer. I have gone to that Dairy Queen for over 20 years. They just lost a long time customer. If I could have given them 0 stars I would have.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The OWNER gave me the wrong item at the window and refused to fix it because I took a bite before I knew it was wrong. Wouldn’t refund my money either. Was extremely confrontational and was laughing about the whole exchange. Brooklyn was the manager at the time and did nothing to make it right.

Terrible service. The girl rang up my food wrong, seems she was making mistakes all day cuz 2 people ahead of me had problems. There were 5 people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. By the time someone noticed me my food got cold and melted.They pretended to make it right, but I don't want pity food that you can spit on or how it accidentally dropped on the ground.I will never return to any dairy queen.

Thought a Blizzard sounded good, so I pulled into DQ. The clerk was unsure how to ring in my $1.00 , DQ gift certificates that were purchased at this location directly from the CURRENT OWNER. The manager was very displeased that his personal phone call was being interrupted when the clerk inquired about the gift certificates. The manage threw the gift certificates at me through the drive-thu window. He stated he did not care who I got the gift certificates, "go somewhere else" were his exact words.

Update (6/2023 - 7 months later) still bad customer service here. The drive-thru man was not friendly and shouldn’t be working in a customer service environment if he doesn’t intend to speak to customers positively, let alone at all…11/2022: Not very good customer service. The workers were too busy gossiping to pay us much attention when we got to the drive-thru window, or to give us any type of greeting.

Was quite disappointed to find out the dining area is closed when we arrived. This location only allows drive thru and take out orders. The food was good, and the prices were reasonable. Minus one star due to wait time for food. We went inside to order take out, but it appears their kitchen favors the drive thru over the inside orders so we waited a while. Minus another star for closing the dining area. Everything else in the surrounding community allows inside dining. Why not this location? Trying to save money I guess. The downside is ordering food and ice cream and having the ice cream melt by the time you get home and eat the regular food first. I'd only recommend this location if you're just getting an ice cream treat and use the drive thru!Features: This location has a dining area, but all the chairs are put up and it's blocked off by caution tape. There is outdoor seating available, but that isn't usable when it's raining or very cold outside.
