They make my vet visits so easygoing. We don't go in thru the lobby. My Daisy is not very socialized with other animals. She's our big baby. Her best friend is a rescue cat we brought home at barely a month old. Daisy loved this tiny thing from day one. She loves people but is choosy with her her animal friends. She's a rescue we've had since she was about 10 months old. I just appreciate the accommodations they make for my girl. She's getting old, and she's set in her ways.

Been taking my pets here since meeting my ex wife and her family, they take all their pets here. Amazing team of vets and techs. Very great at providing personalized and patient care.Update 4/3/2024Recent visit was much less satisfactory than prior visits, more of an average experience than outstanding so updating my review.Just felt like I was rushed through my appointment and my concerns were glazed over. Their explanation of pet insurance was confusing at best.

The staff takes wonderful care of our dogs. I gave four stars instead of five because the wait time, regardless of day or time of day, always seems long. It’s a small town vet, so set your expectations with wait time accordingly. But I’ll gladly wait to give my pups the best care I can.

First time going here to pick up medicine for our dog who’s a new patient. This place is great! Friendly and knowledgable staff in helping get our new pup up to date on vaccinations and quickly filled medicine she needed. Will definitely keep bringing our puppy here!

First visit. It was an amazing. experience from start to finish. They have a great system in place to make the process smooth. My dog is skiddish and does not like strangers and everyone did such a great job getting him to cooperate. Will be making them our permanent vet.

My dogs quality of life was declining they promptly replied to my email my doggy was not a patient here Scheduled me withen a week the staff was very welcoming and soooooo empathetic with us. Let us take as long as we needed with our dog. I picked her ashes up and I could tell the hole staff was involved with everything when I was their showed they cared about animal I received her box witch was very very nice the bag and velvet bag was very high quality and a card with her paw print for memories received alittle of her hair in a nice bag then received a hand written card expressing their sympathy. You don't know how much that means untill your in this

I just had an emergent visit with this facility this morning and I am totally impressed! We have just relocated to the Pataskala area a month ago and our cat, Lulu, had a UTI and needed to be seen. From the start, the phone staff was very sympathetic and worked to get her in. She was a work in appointment and when I arrived they explained that they would do their best to get me back as soon as possible. Dr. Borders and her assistant (sorry, I didn’t catch her name) was very patient in answering all of my questions. I am so glad that called this office! Thanks to everyone! Hopefully, Lulu will be feeling better soon and back to her ol’ self.Dorinda

When Buddy our dog ate some mouse poison I contacted the 1-800 number on the manufacturers packaging. The directions that they gave me to treat the issue were horrible and would have likely lead to Buddy's death. I immediately contacted the Animal Hospital of Pataskala and spoke to Mindy. Her knowledgeable care and quick response helped me to properly assess and respond to the issue. Her further support in putting me in touch with the proper animal poison control channels were above and beyond. There is little doubt in my mind that our family owes Buddy's health to Mindy's quick and selfless help. It is clear that the staff understands the bond between pets and their human families and responds with care that reflects that. My praise does not do justice to the help that we received from the staff. Thank You!

Absolutely the best vet around❤️ They go more than the extra mile to make sure you're babie's are comfortable & are the sweetest. My baby girl has epilepsy and they handle her with such good care❤️ It's super convenient rooms & they have back doors you go out of after you're vist. My pup freaks out so it's very helpful and less stress to my baby girl. Also they are very good on prices which is another amazing thing.

Front desk was very indifferent and rude. I was asking for information and the front desk refused to answer. This vet really think they are the best or something that they don’t need to care about the customers. Well, there are a lot of other vets that people from Pataskala can go!

Great place to take my dog. Friendly caring !! Only issue is they never can see you if your dog is sick. They send you to a emergency hospital which cost a fortune.

I trust Dr. Borders completely with my furbabies. She is the best vet for bunnies. Very down to earth, super personable, and we learn more each time we take our bunny to her. Well worth the hour and 16 minute drive one-way for us! She is always accessible and easy to reach. Dr. Borders does sooo much to help bunnies and their human families all over Central Ohio. I would recommend her 12 out of 10 times! Yes, you read that right.

They're good people. I remember being a kid and us bringing are dog to see Dr crock. We had two doctors in town that I knew. Dr crock and Dr zakowski. One took care of are animals the other took care of us. I respect that because he's been dedicated to this town for as long as I can remember And I'm 45 years old. The veterinarians that he hired are amazing like him. Tammy's a great vet she's been taking care of my dog and my dogs like a kid to me. I definitely recommend them.

It's a good place with good people and have been going for years but not often. It's just slower than it used to be. They are slowly going back to normal but it's just not what it used to be for me.I also never received a call back when I asked them to. I was in a panicked state and understand why they wouldn't, but it made me feel that they only call you about scheduling and not if someone needs suggestions or reassurance. Made me wonder.Still think it's a wonderful clinic and like the closeness for driving.Have a good one all.

BEST VETS IN THE WORLD. We love Dr. Justin and Dr. Tammy. What I really like is that they don't make you feel bad for not doing every test under the sun on your little one. Rather they work out a plan.... let's test for this first bc this makes the most sense and move forward from there. Office staff is very friendly. They do get busy and sometimes this can result in a longer wait but that's to be expected bc of last minute er visits. There was only once when this happened and I was running late to work. They asked if I wanted my little one to see another doctor which worked out great so I could scoot out of there. They communicate by text, email and phone call. Sometimes I have texted if my little one has an issue with something the vet is already aware of and we problem solve over the phone to avoid a visit. They are truly amazing.

I have so many wonderful things to say about this place that I'm not sure where to begin? My grandmother fell in love with a barn cat and he was injured. She didn't have the means to take care of him so I stepped in and found him a nearby vet. Today was his last follow up appointment until his next yearly visit. Not only did they get him on the road to recovery quickly, but the level of compassion and empathy shown to him and us throughout was something you just don't find everyday. My grandmother told me today fighting tears that they probably saved his life. I will say with certainty they did. Dr. Thorn and team are the best! Our cat is now somewhat of a celebrity at the clinic. Everyone stops by to say hi when we visit. I love how much they love him and I'm so grateful for the patience they showed my grandmother, me, and Gandorf through this unique situation. Thank you!

Had our first social distanced drop off/pick up appointment, Dr Teresa helped us and the staff was SO nice and helpful. My dog was so at ease and actually was excited to go back for a follow up for a couple shots. Such nice people!

We found out our cat had kidney cancer today. Dr. Harris & his tech were wonderfully compassionate , understanding & supportive. We had to say goodbye to our sweet, petite calico. It was a very sad, tough day.
