I love this place. I lived nearby on the PA side, but moved away 10 years ago. I still occasionally drive down. I love the small-town feel, the sales, the smoling faces who always seem happy to help. Not a lot of places feel like community any more, but this does.

Very clean small town market. The meat department is very well priced and freat quality. Deli is very good. I love the number 10 cans of vegetables for large get togethers. Cashiers always check you out dince they have no self check outs.

The steak we bought 2 days ago for $8.99 a pound was so tough and couldn’t chew it. We threw away all of it. I called the manager today to let him know. He asked us to bring it back to the store. I told him it’s in the garbage. I have the package it came in which is in the garbage and my receipt. I didn’t expect a refund but his no care attitude and wanting the product back made me upset. We should dig it out of the garbage. I wonder what he would of done. WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THAT STORE AGAIN.

We go here to get our steaks and they ate always a great price and the butcher cuts it right there for you. They always have many more great sales too.

Good prices, good service, quality meats.I have always liked going to Sparkle for their meet. I got a whole Pork Loin and NY Strip. They cut it for you before a certain time ( I think 2:00pm). It is worth the drive from PA. They have hot foods, beer, wine, lotto. It's a one stop shop.

Very little selection of meat and bakery goods. Produce isn't always fresh Great chicken sales! Way too expensive for me to do any regular shopping there. Prices double or sometimes triple what you can find elsewhere.

Meat prices are spectacular. I can feed my family of 4 just from buying the family packs of meat at sparkle and freezer wrapping until I need them.

I agree that they are pretty expensive. But because they are in town, I guess you pay for convenience. Which is fine for me, but feel bad for anyone on a fixed income that doesn’t have to means to go elsewhere.That being said, the hot foods are really good and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. They have a lot of products that you won’t find in the larger stores. Great selection of sugar free products!

One of the decent grocery stores I like going to because they're well known and friendly service. Just across the State line of Pennsylvania and Ohio and since the gasoline is cheaper here so is the food products and so forth here. This is the place to go for everything especially meat. The guys in the meat department. Dell people number one. If you need help and the best in the meat department look for a guy wearing a du rag and a hat. Hes my number one go to guy.

Decent selection of packaged goods. I don't recommend ANYTHING easily perishable here. I bought salt, spices, garlic, onions, and meat here. The salt and spices were packed down so hard I had to use a hammer to break them down. The garlic and onions were sprouted and gross (multiple times, I thought it may have been a fluke at first) and the meat was slimy THROUGH the package.

Use to have great deals on meat but last time I went there it was sooo expensive. Can get better deals anywhere else. Not sure if they changed hands or something but prices like that will put you out of business.

I'm updating my review. The lighting has upgraded & other work has been done so it is no longer dreary. The biggest issue now is the deli worker that will not wear a mask over their nose & frequently lowers it to talk to staff & customers.

This particular sparkle market has phenomenal meat sales every month! I have been going every other month and spending around $100-$125 on 30 1/2 inch thick new York strip steaks, 25lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, 4 lbs thick cut bacon, 20 lbs lean ground beef,20 center cut pork chops 1/2 inch thick along with a few other items! I can't beat the prices and quality of their meat too!

Came in for the good deals on the fresh cut meats. I can see why they are low priced. The tube of hamburger was full of gristle. The steaks must have been from a old retired milk cow.
