Stay away from The Paw Wash in Painesville 🐾Nothing makes me more upset than companies who do not do right by their customers when they are in the wrong ! Mistakes happen, but make it right when they do.I dropped Link off for a groom on Monday and when I picked him up the groomer had mentioned they got some soap in his eyes and I could flush his eyes when I got home if they were bothering him. I paid for the groom and tipped as I always do.When I got home and looked at him I realized his eyes were in really bad shape! They were bright red/ blood shot and he wouldn’t open his eyes for the entire evening because he was in pain. I flushed them but nothing worked. He was miserable the entire 1.5 days until I got him to the vet.I went to the vet to make sure real damage wasn’t done to his eyes. They were crusted shut and oozing puss at this point. They gave him eye drops.It took the owner a few days to get back to me and when we spoke he was rude and trying to make it seem like they weren’t responsible. He demanded the vet records be sent to him and after multiple emails and conversations he refunded the groom $ that I paid but still refuses to pay the vet bill directly related to the groom appt gone wrong !!This is unacceptable. I tried talking to him multiple times before posting this and gave him the multiple opportunities to make it all the way right, but he won’t.This is not how you treat customers, especially repeat customers!Do you think he should have paid for the vet bill or no?Feel free to share!

Had such a positive experience! Our chow chow, Lady is very nervous and uneasy around other people and they took such great care of her! I was super nervous as this was her first time being professionally groomed and how she would act, but she was super happy and looks AMAZING! We booked our next appointment before we left, 10/10 recommend, Perry is great!!

We have taken our 8 month old puppy to the Paw Wash twice now. Reasonably priced & very friendly staff! We have loved the grooming results each time, and can tell by the way he reacts to the staff that they treat him well.We go a little out of our way to go here, but we wouldn't go anywhere else at this point. :)

It is a disappointment. The person we dealt with charged us extra without prior authorization for additional service. I would avoid this business.====Update:Re: same day appointment. Your website encouraged to reserve online. I went to your website and reserved the available time slot for the same day. Not sure why is it you make it sound that you're doing me a favor for a same day appointment. Typically, if there will additional charges, I expected a courtesy notice as opposed to charging me extra right at the time of checkout.

Love The Paw Wash! Our dog gets nervous easily around other dogs, but she doesn't mind going here. The groomer is gentle & makes Gracie feel comfortable. She loves her baths & her groomer, Morgan.

I thought I would never be able to take my golden to a groomer because of her separation anxiety but Kayleigh proved me so wrong. Kayleigh is literally the dog whisperer, she is so patient and loving with every pup that comes through the door. My whole family takes their dogs to be groomed by her because she takes such good care of them! She’s truly amazing at what she does I can’t recommend her enough!

They have gotten me in same day for skunks twice now (ughhh) really appreciate the groomers though!! The dogs look great and smell as good as is possible for the situation. Reasonably priced and they are easy to communicate with.

Everyone here is amazing! The dogs always look great and they don't hate going. Found Perry in a time of need and won't go anywhere else! We have used others before, but this place is the best! They treat all my dogs as if they were their own. Highly recommended!!!

Absolutely amazing! We have two chow chows and it has always been a challenge to find someone who understands them and that our two pups aren't terrified to visit. We found both at Paw Wash. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience. Very friendly staff. I have a really time putting my dogs in others hands, but they did not disappoint and i’d be happy to trust them again. loved how my dogs haircuts came out. they came out exactly how i wanted. you can tell they have a love for these animals and they are great at what they do! great service!

I have a VERY hairy dog that sheds terribly. Haley was absolutely amazing!! Took lots of extra care and got all of the loose hair gone and under coat controlled. My baby smells great looks great and her breath so much better. I've already booked my next visit!!Great facility and I am certain we've found our new "doggy spa"!!!

I can’t recommend them enough! I have a golden doodle that ran and hid the second you mentioned the word “bath”! Now her obsession with Perry, Sommer and Taryn is so wild as soon as I say it she runs to the garage door to get in the car! She always looks fabulous when I pick her up and smells even better! 10/10

I have to once again say that The Paw Wash is the best grooming business in northeast Ohio. Their staff is among the best of any pet grooming business I have ever used and have to say they go out of their way with customer service. I took our dog there and I accidentally scheduled the wrong services. Instead of making me come back they said they could fit our dog in so as to not make us come back the following week. That is customer service that is unheard of in today's society. I want to specifically say our groomer and bather we're amazing and truly love dogs. I will never go to another groomer anywhere except The Paw Wash. Hailey and Taryn we're amazing and truly care about customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to have their dogs groomed and bathed by caring professionals.

Omg! Awesome service my dog was done so nice. He felt like a cotton ball .The customer servicewas great. I was late picking my dog up and they were so nice about it. I downloaded Apple Pay then got there and didn’t know how to use it. Had to use another credit card and they were super nice about it. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I was extremely sorry that I was late.

Highly recommend this place. The groomers do a great job and really take good care of our doodle. Comes out looking great every time. Also great place to do a DIY quick bath if you don't want the mess in your house. They have everything you need.

It's been a while since we've been here, but the service was still great and our puppy looks amazing and smells good again. We got our pup washed, nails trimmed and ears cleaned for 40 dollars.

Heard a lot of great things about Paw wash decided to give it a try for a simple nail cut and trim around the head area on our Labradoodle Molly. Call today get ahead an appointment for 1 and when I was a very efficient and courteous staff. We were able to wash and dry our golden in just a half of hour,the set up is great and the lady there was very helpful.We Had our Golden Groomed and a Bath they did a very good Job, we will be back there again.

Always friendly and courteous. The staff make an extra effort to make us and our dog Daphne feel comfortable. Price is great too. This is the only place we trust with our dog.
