this genuinely might be the worst marc’s in lake county. miserable unfriendly staff. even more miserable and unfriendly customers. the same closeouts here are 1-2 dollars more expensive than others. it actually makes my day worse to step foot in here.

The flagship Marc's of lake county!! Has the cheapest prices in town!! Great selection of grocery, home goods, pet and cleaning/paper products. Has a very unique toy section! You never know what your going to find at Marc's! My favorite place to shop, has been since the early 90's! Definitely check here first if your looking for the best prices. They can accept credit and debit cards now! As well as apple pay and of course Samsung pay!

Got paper this morning at 7 am on December 29th. Was at service customer to pay for my paper. A short lady was grumpy and didn't have the appropriate attitude to serve a customer 🙄 I silently left my coins to pay for it. She threw the paper back at me and grabbed my money.. so I backed off wondering what side of the bed she got up... I wish I known to catch her name.. like I said... December 29th at 7 am...

DARLENE FIRED ME BECAUSE I NEEDED TO GO OUT OF TOWN. I LET HER KNOW 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OUT OF RESPECT FOR HER SCHEDULING. 3 WEEKS LATER SHE SUMMONED ME TO HER OFFICE WHERE SHE PROMPTLY FIRED ME. SHE STATED “THIS ISNT GONNA WORK.” SHE TOLD ME THE DAYS I NEEDED OFF WAS FINE3 WEEKS AGOOOOOOO THEN SWIFTLY FIRED ME ON MONDAY MAY 6th I WOULD NOT WORK HERE EVER AGAIN AND THEY ONLY MAKE $11/HR

The highlight of Marc’s is its closeout section which is reminiscent of Mom and Pop variety stores.  Items sold there change frequently enough to keep you coming back, and savvy shoppers can find great deals on quality products.  Other departments are pretty standard for a grocery store and competitively priced.  The staff is friendly and quick with a greeting.

I used to work here it’s revolting and management is horrid, general manager is nonstop losing assistant managers and can’t keep supervisors everybody’s on their phone and everybody’s underpaid. Josh doesn’t take ideas from his workers nor customers prices are always wrong he’s the only thing that’s “right” they only work everybody part time to benefit their salaries I was right at my year advanced and they fired me. Probably so I didn’t get the raise or paid time off. I would just avoid this store entirely unless you want to get sick, aggravated, or want to check yourself out because they’re losing all the cashiers by firing them or cutting their hours Inevitably.- Sincerely the fiest one

Marc's is always a great idea !!! Check the ad for specials... if you don't get one in the mail, they're just inside the front door!They almost always have inexpensive and beautiful fresh flowers, and my favorite aisles are the house plants, and incredible buys... unusual things, nicely priced...you can spruce up any room in the house, without spending alot, and you can find fantastic gifts there, too !!!Back in the day, the only "Marc's" was out by Eastgate Shopping Center, and I believe it was called Bernie Shulman's...and a trip to that store was always a BIG DEAL!!! We are so lucky to have one this close by..And, a big PLUS...the employees I have dealt with have always been friendly and helpful people!!!Way to go, Marc's !!!

Be aware when buying certain products at Marc’s. They will not take returns on makeup!! I was trying to return a defective product. I can hardly afford to pay nine dollars to use something once. But they refused saying that’s their policy.They should have a way to make an exception to their policy and accept returns for defective products. And then send them back to the manufacturers so that the manufacturer takes the hit. And perhaps pull the product from their store. I will never buy makeup there again -- or batteries, light bulbs, or live plants which they told me they don’t take back, either.

I've been going here for years it's a nice store unfortunately there prices are as high or higher now than the rest of the Grocery store chains. Very busy in the mornings & afternoons not as busy in the evening. What I bought today was $90.00 6 months ago would of cost half as much. Gotta love when the Demorats are in control of the Congress and the White House everything is SkyHigh!

20 minutes to check out while managers stood around talking. bags are so thin cashier double bagged everything! how does that save time/money?prices mismarked but i didnt dare ask as that would add 5 minutes more. cashier was very nice but was more than she could handle. btw, wife checked out at diferent register, it broke and they sent her to the back of another line. its now been 15 minutes+ since i left her inside as i wait in the car.

Came in to get cheese sliced from the deli. I needed it sliced thick. I had plans of doing something specific with it. I get the cheese and it is so thin on the one end that I am sure it was thinner than a slice of cheese. They sliced it with a knife instead of using the slicer. This was the second time in a week I got bad service from the deli. The other time I was told they were done with slicing cheese for the day and they were still open for half an hour. This was the only place you could count on good service before, I guess we were all that lucky it lasted this long.They spray painted their carts recently, which only made them look worse. The paint rubs off onto clothing and hands and probably the food as well.Stockers are trained very poorly. Old stuff is behind new stuff with a great deal of date ranges.What happened to the Marc's that I love(d)?

Normally have very good prices and nice selection of produce. Always a pleasure dealing with employees and cashiers. Only had one bad experience with the candy lady who insisted i do not check dates of expiration because i had found some past date. She was very rude. Otherwise all ok.

Cash or Discover , ( hear they're working on debit cards) great prices, watch for sales that can be even better.Closeouts can be had as well. I've bought a lot of Anchor Hocking dishes and glasses at really low prices.

Marcs has the best price on pop! They accept all major payment forms. My only problem is the parking is limited and they never open enough check out lines.

I enjoy shopping at MARCS! You never know what you might find! I found a20 dollar bill,bought 2 different 10 dollar instant tickets, one was for 100 dollars and the other was for 1000! Yeah,i like MARCS!

Just got out of Painesville Marc's. Feel like I need a shower. Health code violation disgusting! Overflowing trash cans, feet stick to the floor. Kid workers just standing around talking instead of working. Going downhill real fast!

I am so tired of ur employees who are at the customers service that say they don't know how to do the bills and the manager that's there don't know either u either train them to do it since that is part of the department of customers service or don't put them there they should be trained on how to do that

Beware!! This Marc's is charging tax on food from the Closeouts department! I don't know if it is only this store or others, but last I heard there is NO TAX in Ohio on food taken off premises for consumption! But according to the person working behind the service desk the sugar content in Snack Pack pudding is taxable! Check your receipts people and let this person and store know they are WRONG!
