This is the worst dollar general I've ever been in. You literally cannot get down 1/2 the aisles. I asked if it was truck day, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. But no. I went yesterday to get the "today only" deals... but as the shelves were empty I couldn't get anything. Had a quick question, and the manager was rude!!! I even tried applying for a job there... they obviously need help.... no response. Here's a tip, close the store for a day, all hands on deck, offer lunch and get the store organized.

Waited on the store to open at 8am. Ladies unlock the door and block it to tell me they won’t be open today lol ok? Rude much? then they all proceed to have a meeting outside to smoke cigarettes and laugh. Like that made a lot of sense

Dollar General is one of my favorite stores. The price is almost always right and they always have what you’re looking for. My store ( the store nearest me ) is always neat and clean. I have been into stores where the isles are a mess and you can’t find anything. The only reason I give them 4 out of 5 stars is because outside the store always has so much trash just laying around. Come on clean up people.

I use to love this place, but there is nobody stocking the shelves and everything is blocked by carts full of unopened boxes stacked 7ft high. This has been an on-going problem. Please if you have a child think twice about bringing them in. It's only a matter of time that something is going to fall on someone. I find the place a complete waste of my time, it's just full of bare blocked shelves. It's a pity this store has come to this.

This store is so messy and they never have anything! Nothing stocked they always have carts in the way! Higher management needs to step in and do employee inventory! This store sucks I don't go there much anymore..

I have had good service and gotten good deals on much if what I was looking for. Their prices tend to stay steady and may be higher than the sales of local Target /Walmart. Then again, they are within easy walking distance which is a great benefit.This location seems to have gone through a management change. Previous bad experiences​have not only not been witnessed again but I have witnessed great service by the staff and a relaxed atmosphere for the employees.

Employees are great, (all but maybe 1). They work hard, and keep this high trafficked store clean, and stocked. Cashiers always seem to be efficient, and the lines are steady, but not long.

You can get some great deals here, especially on cleaning supplies, pet products, and hygiene products. I've often been pleasantly surprised at the selection of really nice housewares. It is a discount store. Some items are inexpensive for a reason.

The treatment of the employees of this store is the worst thing you could see are bad people when you enter there is no one to help with what you are looking for and there is always an excuse with the price says that it is not the right price and they want you to apologize and more Of an ocaccion did not know if because I am Hispanic give me the bad treatment today February 1, 2017 at 2:30 pm the cashiers tried the worst to pay me with coupons they did not return the coupons nor did they want to sell the merchandise. I will no longer go to this store for their bad treatment of the person.

Literally worst experience of my life. As approaching the cash register customer informed me that there has not been anyone there for the past 15 minutes and we should just walk out with our items. Woman comes out mad that she had a line of 12 people waiting to pay for their items. No interaction with cashier, just mean mugs, cash, receipt, not bye. Nothing... never again

I stop at this store several times a week it's convenient and several of the employees are great! They always greet you upon entry and say good bye upon exit. Prices are great mobile app is nice this store makes my life easier!

A down and dirty place to save on staples if you don't care about any frills. Probably as disorganized as a store can be and indifferently stocked it's easy to get in and out.

This Dollar General vineyards closes at 9pm which is earlier than the other stores do. The clerks I have experienced in this have been nice. But the prices seem a little higher than my usual dollar general.

Nothing is stocked and coupons don't seem to be updated in the system. I asked if the discount would be applied at the end of the transaction and was told yes. I was supposed to save $5 and the clerk basically shrugged their shoulders when it didn't work.

I think 90% of the people working here might be on something. The store is a DISASTER! Must really be hard to find good help. Besides that...its parking is good 🤣

Staff not knowledgeable about items in their own store. Some of the shelves and messy and hard to find things. Nice variety of different things. Prices need to be lowered on a few things. The name is (Dollar) General not G.E.

Was at the Dollar General in Painesville..very rude cashier today..Usually they are very nice..but not today..ill stick to the dollar general in Fairport..much nicer employees..I guess I bothered her..she actually had to work..

Great little store with everything your daily needs....polite employees and clean store...entrance and exit is awkward...and traffic can get busy....plenty of parking even for large trucks or a semi
