I hate CVS, and this store in particular.I went to buy 2 gift cards while my gf pickedn up her prescription. I'm not allowed to ring it my own $200 gift card. There are no signs to tell me that, and after waiting 5 minutes for someone to help, I was told the cashier had to ring the $200 card. When I got to the cashier, she demanded an ID to purchase a gift card.I left.I hate CVS and will not shop here.When you make it difficult for me to do business with you, I won't.

They DO answer the phone here, and unlike Mentor store, they are overloaded. I'm glad I don't have to deal with them anymore!!!!!!! Shopping online is easy and I save SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! Delivery is soooo east!!!!! And FREE!!!!!! I have a leg in a cast for quite a while (from 7/6/23) and it makes things much easier for me!!!!!!😁You'll enjoy it too especially if you have a care card!!!!!!!

The problem first started on Friday December 16, 2022 when I called the CVS pharmacy to fill my vyvanse prescription that I had one refill for December for and one for January. I waited on hold for over 40 minutes before being connected with the pharmacy tech who pulled up the January prescription instead of the December one and told me I could not fill my prescription until after January 15, 2023. Then the representative hung up on me before I could get anymore information or ask them to look into it further. Then I called back waited on hold for an additional 20 minutes before I decided to go up. Please keep in mind that December 16, 2022 was a Friday and if I was unable to get my prescription I'd have to wait until at least Monday to hear back from my doctor because I requested the refill around 2:00 pm EST. I had a major anxiety attack along and was hyperventilating. I felt sick to my stomach because my Vyvanse is for my binge eating disorder I was seriously concerned I would have a relapse with my binge eating disorder if I had to go without my medication for even one day. Once I arrived at the pharmacy after already working for over an hour to get this resolved I demanded to be assisted immediately so they could confirm I infact was able to fill my prescription. They tech told me I needed to sit down and wait and because I was talking loudly (not swearing or using foul language) they called the Lake County Sheriff's department and they Sheriff's Department actually was able to get them to fix the problem and the deputy told me that he would never use CVS pharmacy after seeing the way they treated me during my situation. This caused me irreparable psychological harm to my mental health and a major flare up of my generalized anxiety disorder. Then I spoke with a supervisor on the executive support team who told me the district manager would follow up with me and I never heard anything back. Then come this past Sunday, they tried to do the same thing where they told me they didn't have my prescription this time, but after tell them they were wrong and they need to look again multiple times they were able to confirm they did in fact have my prescription. They have shown they have failed to address the issue in anyway. Then when I called the executive support team and spoke to another supervisor on Monday this week I still did not receive a call back so I called again on Wednesday which after this call on Wednesday the representative misgendered me multiple times and called me sir even after I asked them to stop. I would greatly prefer to go somewhere else, but my Caremark prescription coverage does not allow me to get my long term prescriptions anywhere else. I called again today after still receiving no follow up and was told once again this district manager who obviously does not care about the customer experience and failed to call back multiple times.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. They never answer their phone and they’re absolutely no help whatsoever. About anything. Their customer service is a flat out zero. Worst pharmacy to deal with. I do not recommend getting any scrips filled here.

Normally I wouldn't leave a 1 star review, but I actually cannot believe how this place operates. I am prescribed a medication I NEED to take on a consistent basis every day. So my experience goes as follows. I have an appointment at 8 A.M to renew my prescription. The Doctors office tells me they will call the medication in when the pharmacy opens. The pharmacy opens at 9 A.M according to every advertisement and store posted hours I've seen. I call around 9:40 to make sure that the medication was called in, and a ETA on fulfillment time. As of this moment 10:25, I have been on hold for 50 minutes without an answer. I decided to physically drive to the pharmacy while on hold, and I've been sitting in line for 10 minutes. I couldn't possibly imagine what is going on in this pharmacy, but as someone who works in customer service, I would lose my job if I let a call stay on hold for 50 minutes without addressing the customer. This pharmacy is a joke, and I personally will never use this pharmacy again and I STRONGLY advocate for anyone else to not use this pharmacy.

I’ve been with this Painesville, OH pharmacy for years. They have never been good, just convenient. Last straw today though. They have lost all my families scripts. Caution all who are thinking about using them āš ļø They remove insurance info before confirming with customer. They tell you that you aren’t insured when you are so that you have to call your insurance company and have them call cvs. Then they tell you a script will be ready when it isn’t bc someone didn’t do this or that. Well that’s on them for employing people who don’t know how things are done. I have spoken with my insurance company and they stated they always have problems with them as well. Transferred scripts to another local pharmacy and they also said that they have heard many complaints about CVS pharmacy. This is your reminder to do better CVS pharmacy but I won’t ever be back.

I've been coming here for my son since he was born, and my mom took me here for both of our prescriptions growing up. I've only had one issue regarding insurance but it was resolved fairly quickly. I've never had an issue with the staff or getting a prescription wrong. Every time I have gone prescription has been ready or the wait time they gave me was accurate. Won't change pharmacies.

My doctors office accidentally refilled my prescription at this CVS (painesville). I called my local cvs and asked to have the prescription transferred to my local cvs. they told me to call painesville cvs. Called painesville cvs and they said to call the my local cvs back. I then told the painesville cvs the prescription was already filled at their location. Lady on the phone sounded super annoyed and was cutting me off on the phone. painesville cvs lady then said she would make a note and contact the other cvs and never did. I had to call again and speak to someone else a few days later since painesville cvs didn’t actually transfer my prescription like they said they would.. took three days to get a prescription.

The new blonde pharmacy technician does not do a good job. For instance she is not very helpful, does not know what GoodRx is or how to use it, and I’ve had a poor experience with her. Ultimately I decided to switch pharmacies because their prices are too high and their staff is not helpful.

I have never walked out of this store disappointed. If this particular branch is out of something, they will call around to other stores to see if they have what I'm looking for. No matter how busy they are, the people at this CVS always make you feel like you are getting individualized attention. Kudos to management and all the associates here. Thank you for all you do.

Every month CVS has problems getting prescriptions right. Today was unusually frustrating trying to get a new med. Was told we don't have 720 pills so you can't get a partial prescription filled. I don't want 720!!! That would be a while years worth. 60 is one month's worth with 11 refills. Couldn't get the brainless tech to understand. So frustrating!!

Its ok as far as service goes, but i would highly advise you get your prescription somewhere else. I paid 12 dollars for 800mg ibuprophen, when jist 3 days before at walgreens i paid 3 dollars for 600mg ibuprophen, i get the potency has increased by 2mgs but why did the price go from 3 bucks to 12?

Went in to get a prescription filled and was told it would be 30 minutes if I waited. After 45 minutes I went to the desk to ask about it and was told they were still working on it. 15 minutes later I was told they didn't have the medication in stock. I wasted an hour of my life here for no reason other than their incompetence.

Chelsea that works in the pharmacy was very rude and didn't care that I had to get my 6 month old his medication in a certain time frame. They didn't have his medication ready until 2 hours after they said that it was going to be ready. The reason was because my insurance told them that they had sent it out in the mail I was in Ohio from out of state and I told them that when I called to have it sold but they never called me to tell me why they weren't filling it.

It's nearly impossible to get through to anyone in the pharmacy on the phone. I have waited on hold for upwards of 30 minutes and still haven't even been picked up before hanging up.
