Frank was amazing, you can tell he deeply cares for all the birds there! He showed us how to handfeed our baby English Budgie. This is the place you want to get your birds from! Five stars, I would strongly recommend.If in the future I want another bird, I am coming here and I am asking Frank!

Well I originally went to Birdwalk because of the reviews. Boonie and the owner Frank were very nice.I purchased Madinah a Quaker Parrot. The bird was newly hatched and still being weaned.The staff was helpful and the bird was given a clean bill of health by the Avian Vet.It's worth the drive.. call ahead to see what is available.

Frank,Bonnie &Jeannie are very knowledgeable about and are loving, gentle and dedicated to all the birds. And customers! Including me! Run by wonderful people, selling the sweetest birds!!Handfed, hand tamed, loving, companion birds. If you are looking for a bird, THIS is the spot!! They know how old the birds are, down to the day! Workers are also capable of telling you the gender of your new friend as well!A layaway program is also available and they allow you to visit your bird whenever they're open, and quite encourage it as well. They are also on a first name basis with their clients and there is a very welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in!You can also purchase excellent cages, toys, treats, food, grooming equipment, etc all on site as well! I HIGHLY recommend this bird store! I drove over an hour to get there and would happily do it again, should I purchase another bird.

Have bought 2 beautiful birds from them.. Blue and Gold Macaw and a Triton Cockatoo. Very knowledgeable of the birds they have for sale and ones they dont. Would recommend them for all your bird needs...

We got the best little Budgie here! We brought him home completely tame because they hand feed him. He is now a member of the family. He started talking just a few weeks after bringing him home. He is a super happy healthy little guy with a huge personality. Very sassy! He was only $50 which was awesome for a hand raised bird and they were also super helpful picking out stuff that our bird would need once we got him home. These little budgies have just as much personality as the big birds and talk almost as well so don't think you are missing out on anything by getting a budgie if you can't afford a bigger bird!

I won’t buy another bird from this filthy, shop. The birds here seem distressed, and the owner is rude, obnoxious and unwilling to help with anything. I politely asked for assistance and his response was dismissive and curt. Clearly, this guy doesn’t care about his customers or his birds. Do yourself and your birds a favor and make your purchases elsewhere. This place should be closed permanently.

We got beautiful pinky their and they are great friendly and helpful. Well kept birds . Been stoping in sice they opened and finally got a bird . We are also thinking about a larger bird later on definitely will be coming back .

Bought an adult blue crowned conure here, 5 weeks ago roughly. He has been amazing, and I feel so lucky to have found him.I highly recommend this shop. It is one of the cleanest in Ohio, with some of the happiest birds. I've driven all over the state looking at bird stores, and they are in my top 3.

I drive 2.5 hours each way from Columbus to board my birds here. Their prices on everything are fair, they’re very knowledgeable, friendly, and care about birds. Awesome people and an awesome store!

The owners of Birdwalk are so nice and so helpful. They take such great care of the birds. Cages are clean birds are well fed and are very happy. I wanted a bird that was hand fed and it’s really hard to find and Birdwalk still hand feeds their birds. I would recommend them to anyone that wants a friendly, happy bird.

A friend recommended this store and I'm glad I checked them out, the only place I found that haven't gouged people on prices and are always friendly! I know a few places that definitely are not and these people are awesome. Always answer your question and super easy to work with. Getting me a sun conure and they had some baby's available and I get to bring mine home soon!! I love the selection they have. Coolest little bird place I've seen. I recommend everyone to go there and my neighbor is going to get a bird from them also. I really like this place!

I personally know someone who had a very good experience with Bird Walk, which is the reason we went there when my teenage daughter was considering buying a bird. Unfortunately because of our experience the last time we were there, I will not be setting foot in that store ever again. The lady who works there (didn’t get her name) is always helpful and patient, explaining the differences and temperaments of the various birds which we appreciated since my daughter was still in the deciding phase of which type of bird she wanted. However on our last visit, there was a man there along with the woman, who made a comment along the lines of ‘they’ll be here all day, treating this place like a zoo and never buying anything’. I was standing right there. Regardless of whether or not he was referring to us, I felt it very poor taste to say that in earshot of a potential customer.

Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! Went to the store looking for my first parrot, they helped me narrow down what species would work best for me and I got the sweetest Green Cheek. He is a very healthy, happy boy and I will definitely return for all of his perch and toy needs! Would also return for any additions to our little flock!

This is wonderful locally owned bird store on Liberty Street in Painesville. A one-stop shop for all kinds of exotic birds and bird supplies. It is also a great place to board your bird if you go out of town for a few days or weeks. They take the same great care of your bird that they take with their own. There prices are very reasonable for boarding, for supplies, and for birds raised from eggs to feel comfortable around people. I highly recommend supporting this locally owned treasure.

I am late with this review, but I feel I should share. I purchased a baby conure that was still being syringe fed so I could not take him home right away. During A visit I was informed that one of his toes was bitten off. They cauterizes the stump and started antibiotics. I can tell that the staff cares about the birds, but I was a little annoyed that my bird was hurt. I recieved a small discount for the injury and took the bird home early. It has been a year and he is a happy, healthy, and very loving bird. Overall, I am thankful to the Birdwalk for providing me with such a special bird.

Great place to shop for and spoil my Green Cheeked conure. We recently bought a bugie and an english budgie from the birdwalk. They have been well fed and cared for. My wife was even able to visit and bond with her baby bird while wheening off of formula. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Offering a wide variety of toys, food, live birds, and other services as well. 5 stars really is an understatement. I would rate 6 out of 5 stars.

Two years ago I drove from Akron to purchase a rosey Bourke. After seeing so many selections I wasn't sure because it was my first bird purchase and I originally wanted something affordable and not too big or small. The lady was nice and informative. She found out my needs and said I have the perfect baby for you ! She says she fits your personality! She takes me over to the cage and this little sweet fat Quaker wobbles out of the cage. Steps up on my finger and I was hooked. I took her and her cage home! After I got her home is another story lolol! She didn't like not knowing where she was 😂. They have anything you may need to make a complete purchase. I am enjoying getting to know her. And she's still a Sweet pea 😍
