I personally have never left a review, but living in small Orwell and having to come to this store for small things has me beyond frustrated. They have a new self check out, and if you don’t use it the manager Kevin gets an attitude. I’m sorry but i have 2 children always with me that normally don’t cooperate the best, one being the age of 1 wanting to touch things, and it’s simply easier for me to have someone else ring my items up for me. Kevin will huff and puff loudly enough for you to purposely hear him, and roll his eyes and shake his head. Something needs to be done. If you don’t like your job and the public is an inconvenience to you, find a new place of employment.

No room to shop, staff always missing, always seems to have a new manager, staff underpaid. Expectations for staff are unrealistic, the floors look awful, the grass and snow are left unattended to the point the store could not open. Way to much product to stuff in one room. Very unsafe if somthing were to happen. On a positive note you will find some good products here for a good price.

This hands down is the cleanest, well stocked, front faced, stores I have ever been in period. The workers are awesome and helpful. It is one of the largest ones I have been in also. The team of employees there is great and can tell they are by the pride they take in how the store looks and is stocked. I would literally drive the 30 minutes out of my way to just shop here.

Great staff but corporate has neglected this site.Parking lot is destroyed, plow drivers won't service it so in winter it can be closed for days.Fridge isles often are broken and dairy products are limited or sold out due to lack of fridge space.

Store has a lot of stuff but everytime I've ever gone in the aisles are mostly blocked off with products that need put on the shelves. The cashiers are wonderful, super nice and helpful. I just wish management would hire a few more people just to stock.

Messy, always can't find anyone to ring you out since they outside. Then Kevin and Dylan I believe name he gave say both the manager. Well not very nice and will not return after that mess.

The Orwell store is a mess! The new manager is not a pleasant person! I was in with my young child and that manager, Missy I think is her name, was swearing all over the store!! I was very offended! It's happened more than once! She was seen playing music on her cell phone and yet there is never any music playing in the store. Why is that? It's not a comfortable place to shop without any holiday music playing.And she was seen shoving a defenseless old man outside by a dumpster! This pony tailed witch needs to go! I will not go in there again until she's fired!!!

Dylan said he was the manager. I was using selfcheckout it took my money off and I owed a few cents more. Put another card in and my kid removed it and the system froze. Dylan rebooted it and walked away to smoke outside. Kevin rang me up and said yes it didn't take the money off your card. I said well then I'll use the same card. It declined. His way of fixing it was me paying twice for a product and after calling me a Karen and difficult with an attiute. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL IF NOW YOU ARE BOTH SAYING YOUR THE MANGER. AND THE MONEY NEVER WENT BACK TO MY CARD. RUDE. OF COURSE I WAS UPSET AND SAID NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL OF YOU BOTH AND THEY PROCEEDED TO CALL ME A KAREN. ALSO SAID BECUASE OF MY DAM KID WHY THE MACHINE FROZE. LIKE GET AROUND childrenAND STOP BLAMING OTHERS AND RESPECT Customers OR FIND ANOTHER JOB,and def learn to deal with the public. like very rude and the way they get away with talking to people UNREAL 🙄 going on another week and no returned calls or money back on card

I'd give it a 5 of the store was less cluttered. I can usually fond anything I need here and it very convenient. Just need to pull one cart out at a time when stocking shelves so customers can get through the aisles.

This store selves are usually only half stocked or blocked by carts full of product that needs put away. The staff is often found smoking outside the front door. There is a manager that is known to curse through out the store and complain to and about customers. I do not recommend or like this dollar general store to anyone.

Such an amazing experience. The store was very very clean and orginized. The staff was helpful and courteous plus actually greeted you with a smile when you walked in. It was like they knew you personally and was beyond happy to see you. Our cashier was Candice and she was stellar. She smiled the whole time, was very personable with each customer but did not allow giving each customer a smile and a short converstaion slow her down at all. When she asked how your day was, she truly wanted to know. Because of her and the other lady who was there(sorry your name escapes me. I do apologize) i will most definitely come back to this location. Dollar General you ahoukd train all of your employess to be this way. It was truly a great experience.

Went in for a phone charger cord for $7.00 after buying one from Verizon store for $20.00 plus tax which started to fray and did not fit the phone adequately enough to charge it after a month! The cord purchased from Dollar store 1000 times better! Very pleased with purchase.

I stood in line for over 25 minutes. When a person in front of ask the cashier why she didn't call someone up. She said there's only one other person here and they are stocking shelves. I think the customer should have come first.

I understand that wearing a mask for hours is extremely annoying, but that does not mean it is alright to wear it incorrectly. Good store though, I normally shop here a lot and everyone is normally pretty nice

It's a DG.. it was clean, organized better then some other DGs. Handicap parking available. No wait time to get in. Fairly priced items.
