Definitely ask them to see the ice cream cake before you buy it because they don't look like all of the other dairy Queen's ice cream cakes 🤷. Every time we've gone there, they are out of multiple items. We try to give them the benefit of the doubt and return hoping for a better experience but each time we end up disappointed by something. I don't like leaving a bad review but the problem starts at the top and there's no use calling the store if nothing is going to change.

Even though waiting in line could take some time, I've always been a fan of this dairy queen making everything so fresh. The chicken strips and fries were great as always. The only issue was the gravy was very watery and cold. I'm glad I asked to sample the queso!

The workers here move slower then molasses. Friendly. But I waited over 15 minutes for a cheese burger. Fast food? More like Slow food. Was good but man. Really did not expect waiting that long there.

We were in line at the drive through and when we went to order we were informed they were closed they were just trying to clear the cars in the drive through ahead of us. Even though google said they closed at 9pm we were fine with this. The problem was they put orange cones directly behind our car so we couldn't back up. It was a tight squeeze to go around the building to the right but we were able to exit. Even though this is local we will never patronize this establishment again. Just another establishment in orwell that has horrible service.

I stopped at dairy Queen especially to get the sausage gravy but they did not have sausage .gravy .The French fries were cold and very saltyThe chicken had a strange taste to it.the only thing that I enjoyed was the toast !.I was disappointed in the food but I will try it again next time I am in Orwell

Use to love this DQ. Ordered $30 worth of food. Both meals requested onion rings and got fries with the one. I was still at the window and told the Amish girl. She just stared at me while I held out the fries for her so long that I just told her never mind. She asked if I was sure and I told her yeah because she clearly didn’t know how to fix the mistake.The young girl who took my card was clearly frustrated/upset. It’s a Friday and I believe I only saw three employees upfront. Just seems like they could really benefit from some leadership.

Chicken tenders were fried beyond recognition. Fries were greasy. Texas toast and gravy (dipping sauce for chicken tenders) were actually quite good. Will I order a meal from DQ again...I think not, but one cannot ever go wrong ordering anything from their icream treats menu.

Orwell Dairy Queen is literally the MOST disappointing place EVER. They seem to ONLY hire young children which wouldn't be so bad if they had any clue as to what they were doing. It is the longest wait I've ever waited for. Not "fast" food. I ordered a chicken strip basket last time and I had to drive all the way back there after I had gone home and sat at the table in attempt to eat it. There was spoonfuls of OIL in my box and all over the fries. It was horrible.. They REFUSE to serve blizzards upside down, probably because it would all come pouring out as their blizzards are horribly thin and drippy. The things I've watched employees do in that kitchen is pretty baffling. I really suggest you save your money and go ANYWHERE but here. They are way over priced and their food is old, cold and just nasty. Also good luck speaking to the manager or having her return your call if you need anything.

Terrible last two times I’ve been here the blizzard was not right, I ordered a small Royal Chocolate and it was vanilla ice cream and chocolate chips? Then I ordered a chocolate milkshake and it was just Vanilla with a little chocolate you couldn’t taste. Lol I won’t be back. Champion, Lordstown, Cortland and all over DQs are much better. It’s a shame

Drive through was closed? Don't know why but on a hot day like today where its 85° and theres a softball game why would u close it? I ordered the same thing I normally do a chicken strip basket and I normally get a blizzard instead of a drink and I was told I'm not allowed to do that. What!!! And shes like u want dipping sauce, maybe you need to trainer your new members more or have the trainers with them when with customers. Was very disappointed have never had a problem but this upset me very much

The service here is horrible. When we walked in after a little league game, we were told that we had to go outside "because all teams have to use the outside window". We were already first in line at the ordering line (and it was close to 90 degrees and muggy). We did not understand why we had to go outside. So, we all filed outside and had to wait a bit for somebody come to the outside window. Then, we were asked "what can each team member order?" We said that we were not ordering or paying as a team. Then, we were told "well, I didn't know that." Well, frankly, the person did not ask and made an assumption. We were told that we needed to go back inside and, because of all the shenanigans, we had lost our spot in line. No apology was offered, but we did receive a lot of attitude. My advice? If you like being treated respectfully and professionally, do not go to this Dairy Queen.

Ordered two banna splits. Neither had bananas in them. Also ordered two cheese burgers one plain one normal. The girl even asked if I wanted pickle mustard and ketchup on the other. I said yes. Both burgers were plain.So many people there wasn't worth turning around.Check your stuff before u leave the drive threw window.

Was just there, probably will be back again eventually cause it's one of the only decent fast food places around, but, they gave me my food, forgot my drink and blizzard, didn't give me a lid for my blizzard, got me the wrong size of drink, didn't give me a carrying case for all 3 of my drink items. Pretty poor performance this time

As they say, don't believe all you read. The food poisoning post is a disgruntled ex employee. The Dairy Queen has been in Orwell for 30 + years, so it must be doing something right. If you have what you call a "bad" experience, why not call & get it resolved. Also, it's fan food, not fast food. The drive thru is a convenience not a way to get through quicker. It's hard to be "fast" when you have orders of many different items, such as blizzards, that need made per order. There is no way to speed up many of the menu items. But call ins are welcomed, so maybe that's the option you should choose if you're in a hurry. And if you see a line at drive thru, opt to come in. Just some suggestions. I love my store & my employees!

The people are nice very efficient with the orders. The place is very clean. The only downside about the place is the drive through is is kinda narrow and the parking is not very good. Outside of that is a good place to be at.

I came to dairy Queen for a ice cream,fish sandwich ,Fry's ,pop ..They gave me my ice cream first as soon as I tasted it I cld tell they had changed the ice cream it was all watery not creamy and smooth like it use to be .( They need to fix that and quick ) or I won't buy ice cream there ..my french frys was cold for as long as I had to wait on my fish .( Fish sandwich was great and hot ) but my Fry's should of been hot to ..please Dairy Queen change your ice cream BK to the good stuff .ThanksSheila Moyer

I've lived in the area for about 10 years now and have gone to this Dairy Queen multiple times. There is actually a running joke between me and my mom about how they must have an actual cow inside the restaurant and are milking it on the spot to make the ice cream. This is by far the slowest DQ or any fast food restaurant I have been to in my entire life. If you're in a hurry and want to get something quick I would recommend NOT going to this DQ. I have timed it, and the longest I have ever sat in the drive through was 27 minutes. Also, once you get into line, you are stuck there. There is no way to turn the car around, back up, or get out, so if you have some place to be unless you ask the people in front of you to leave you are going to be stuck there as long as it takes.
