From the outside, it looks like a huge dollar tree, but it was disappointing. This store wasn't stocked up at all. Shelfs were bear. This dollar tree needs some help, lol

I have never had issues exchanging items until now.The number of items were the same for what I was exchanging and what I was purchasing, which should have been a wash. Robert seemed to be having complications with the concept along with his superior that was assisting him. They insisted I owed them $2.02. I stood firm on the idea that it should have been a wash.Then they made up the concept that I owed them for tax and said because I bought taxable items at first, and was exchanging for food that isn't taxable, I owed them tax.... the face on the man behind me said it all with his wide eyes and grin as he turned away.I tried to slow down for them and said "I paid tax on all the first items, correct" as I hovered my hand over the bag, and then I am purchasing the food that you admit is not taxable, so why would I pay more tax? If anything, you would owe me money."I am well aware that their policy is exchange only, but I was trying to make a point. They reassured me they would not be giving me money back, haha. I then said I am not expecting the money back and that I realized I would basically be losing out on the tax I paid, a cost of doing business if you will, and that the government is not going to be mad that additional tax was remitted.I mentioned that I do accounting for a living and Robert the "accountant" said he does too. Before having an accounting degree, I could do basic math as well - impresssive I know (sarcasm). The number of items I purchased would not have been $2.02 even if I had to pay tax on all of the items.They then switched it up again and said that if a taxable item is purchased you can only exchange it for another taxable item. Same goes for if you buy a non-taxable item. It would only be exchangable with a non-taxable item. They claimed it is their policy. I said no, your policy has always been an exchange and it doesn't state that on the receipt either. The poor man behind me was getting irritated but did chime in and said that has never been an issue for him either. He told the lady behind him, who happened to be my Mother, that he didn't think they knew what they were doing.They became so flustered that they said "just take it" because every scenario they created was a bust. I took my bags and walked out.Point being, some training needs done especially on the management side. Poor Robert had the worst guidance and tried to even take the blame for not letting me know about the taxable for taxable exchange. It isn't his fault the woman who approves the exchanges is clueless. They also didn't really look at my receipt, nor did they cross off the items I returned.So, Dollar Tree, your inventory is going to be off. I am attaching 2 photos to try to be helpful, even if you don't see it. The photos are the front and back of the items I ended up with - final purchase. The items I returned are small wooden boards that look like charcuterie boards or TV trays. There were also some wooden mermaid clips and small glass bottles inside of a plastic bag - 4 or 5 in each bag. These can all be located in your craft area.I will not be doing any exchanges here in the future.

I put two quarters in one of the prize machines and it didn’t give me my thing and took my quarters I let the two workers know that it was broken and in was in no way expecting a refund because it’s only two quarters but one of them rudely said “we can’t refund the money.” i never said i wanted it to but now i do it’s the principle of the thing

I went there yesterday and the manager was loudly voicing her opinion on how she is getting tired of customers coming in and picking up items then laying them back in the wrong place. She was definitely not using good customer service several of us looked at each other and said wow she shouldn't be in this career cause with out us you wouldn't be needed. I felt like I was being scolded by my mom. I will be going across town to a different store where I'm appreciated. This is not the first time and before she was yelling on phone about employees using the f word very unprofessional and I work in customer service that would have been immediate termination.

Cashiers are always very helpful and nice. They have the plus section now with things priced differently $3 $5 $10 ect. Balloons are different pricing, too.

This Dollar Tree was clean, well stocked and had done something more stores need to do. My niece and I stepped into line. And before the person in front of us finished, 3 more people got in line behind us. They nearly immediately opened another. Checkout! It was almost a dream! Good prices too.

Worst store ever the staff is super rude. The store is dirty and super cluttered pallets everywhere. The was only one register open line to the back of the store. Never going back to this Dollar tree

Store was very clean and as expected the day after Easter shelves were empty. However for the things I needed there was plenty available. Very helpful and friendly staff, clean aisles. Thank you and kudos to the staff!!

There was a long line and a woman said I can take you over here at the next register so I went over there lost my place in line and then she decided to blow up balloons for someone and left me standing there when I could have stayed in the line I was in I ended up waiting on her for a good five minutes and I had to go back over and get in the other line

Brand name nail polish, full size $1 ea. At a regular store over $7 for one. My new store for nail polish. Selection may be limited but you can't beat the price

It is not your fault we have to wear masks in the store. Employee's are very good about this and if you have to take it down to breathe without moving from your spot, they are still good!

A ton of items. Remember everything is $1. That means candy also. Nothing is exceptional quality but if you need something quick. Its an easy place to grab stuff.

Miss the dollar tree where everything was a dollar but I do love the new dollar tree because of all the great new things you can find there and cheap too but change the name of the store please...lol
