Best Reuben, nay, perhaps best sandwiches overall in town. Super friendly staff, especially the tall guy. He’s great, super nice guy. Real cheesecake, fluffy like it’s supposed to be. The spicy chili is excellent as well, very unique. This place is a local staple in my eyes.

Awesome place, my first time to the Big Apple deli was in the late 90's. And I've been back dozens of times and I don't think that I've ever been disappointed.I usually get the Reuben or Broadway with a side like crab salad or a specialty macaroni

One of the best local family owned spots in town! Staff is always upbeat and friendly , great suggestions as well. Chili is top notch ! Love the heat. You can't go wrong with any sandwich you order.

Start to finish, AMAZING! The young ladies behind the counter were VERY friendly and took the time to explain different products!This was our first time here (we are from Michigan) and will DEFINITELY be back!I would recommend the Rueben, HOLY BATMAN....SO much meat and SO yummy!Thank you ladies for an awesome experience ❤️

Food is alright, a little more meat than I like on my sandwiches but that's just my personal choice, it's better to have to much meat and take some off than not enough. Staff was friendly and the shop was fairly clean. The front entrance area did have a little bit of an umpleasent musty smell, but luckily that wasn't in the resteraunt itself.

Found this deli on the fly and they were able to cater our work lunch within 24 hours!The service was excellent and the staff was helpful and nice! The delivery driver help set up lunch which was great!Thank you Big Apple Deli for your service. Give them a try for your next work lunch! 🥪🍎🍪

This place is awesome for a quick lunch or dinner but with high quality food. The Reuben is my go to sandwich, but anything you pick will delight your taste buds. The peanut butter pie is amazing as well.

5 stars.I'm an east sider born and raised and somehow this gem flew under my radar until recently. But then I heard they had the best pastrami in the city. To which I immediately said... "in this city??? Is pastrami something we're known for???" But then that was followed immediately with "I do love pastrami. :-)"And they deliver. Both on the expectation and legit delivery. They cater. :-)Excellent selection of all your classic deli foods. All the meats and salads and cheese and pickles you expect from a good deli.I've had worse.Oooh, and, deviled eggs. :-D yeah!Not cheap. But not expensive either. I'd say... competitively priced.New favorite spot.

We just picked up a meat and cheese tray for a special occasion for a friend. It was suppose to feed 15 people the meat tray was full of meat 4 different kinds but nothing special for presentation the cheese tray the same but way smaller and only one layer of cheese for 120.00 you can go buy meat and cheese at monettes and make a much nicer tray. I definitely won't go back.Very disappointing.

First time having Big Apple Deli today. Food was very easy to order and took less than 5 minutes for my 4 sandwiches to come out. I got the big apple sandwich. Let me tell you... It was the BEST sandwich I haver ever had. 10/10 Stars!!!

The staff was super friendly I got through the drive-through quickly with no issues....save one: when I asked about the Reuben I asked if it was "grilled" or simply put on a toaster with the inners heated up? The very nice person at the drive-thru assured me it was grilled.. "the bread is grilled and the inside heated up" and... Yeah...no.. the bread was toasted NOT GRILLED. By the time I got home it was soggy and nearly inedible. However there was loads of meat... delicious sauerkraut...1000 dressing perfectly sweet... But I didn't taste nor did I see swiss cheese... For $10.48 I would have rather had a cold corn beef and swiss sandwich 🤦🤷
