Great people, fair prices, and convenient location; we will DEFINITELY be coming back for all our puppy needs 😊

Went in with an emergency situation with my dog. They all made me feel more at ease, answered my questions, Dr Bels was very sympathetic to my financial situation, and did everything possible for what i had to work with. I feel confident my baby girl will come back from this. She goes back in 3 weeks. I finally found my new vet. Thank u, Animal Medical center of Ontario!

Vet wanted to charge 241 dollars to mercifully help my cat go to sleep so she wouldn’t suffer anymore.My cats life is ending and I just wanted to make it easier on her to pass.Do not go here ever!i was up all night with my kitty who had series of strokes and is paralyzed from them.no compassion whatsoever.No I don't want to call you people and discuss it and hear your excuses because your compassionate for animals and people suck and I will never associated myself with your business that not only lacks good customer service but lacks the human decency to give a dying pet a peaceful passing.My cat meant everything to me and not many vets were open that day.Vet places like you are a joke and are in it for the money.

Take my dog Patty on 4/13/24, she was so very sick. Dr B was very passionate with her, stayed after hours to do emergency surgery on her when she didn’t have to. I am so Very Thankful that you knew this true emergency! Yhanks from the bottom of my heart for saving my baby

They were able to get us in the same day! They show you a breakdown of the charges before doing the procedures, Dr Gulker was awesome! She explained everything to me. And continues to check in and let me know test results as soon as she gets them.

Been using this office since we moved and it has been nothing but trouble for almost 2 years. They made it sounds like they were willing to be super accommodating but our first visit ended with a sick dog being allowed to run up to my dog in the lobby. We have had CONSTANT wrong information, switching sides, extra charges, and lack of informatives from the staff. If you need consistent care for your pet without hassle, this is not the place for you. Owners that bring in their animals routinely + go above and beyond to make sure they are being taken of at home should not be met with this kind of hassle and lack of reason from professionals.

I took my cat here to get fixed this morning and she had tested positive for feline leukemia and aids and dr.burkhart was super rude about it basically demanding that i put my cat down after i said no multiple times and my cat has no symptoms its not like she is deathly sick and they wanted to put her alseep while she was still under the anesthesia. super rude and unprofessional.

My husband and myself love this office. The staff is very nice and helpful. They take care of our Shelby. Dr. Gulker is so great. I like how they call and check in on our pet if she's been in sick. Shelby gets so excited coming here (believe she does you can tell) because she loves the attention.

The only place I'll ever bring my kitties. Everyone here is amazing and kind and I can't thank them enough for everything they've done for us and our cats.We were ready to say a very tearful goodbye to our elderly cat after we thought we were going to lose her. We made an appointment for her to be seen as soon as possible and thought she wouldn't even make it to the appointment. After Dr. Gulker saw our cat in a very sad state, we were told that she could possibly, with cautious optimism, be saved. We were thrilled. They took amazing care of our girl for about a week before we could bring her home.I'm happy to report that our sweet kitty is doing really well even though she has some difficulty getting around now and can't quite jump anymore, but she's learning to compensate and adapt. She's able to take care of her needs on her own, she just looks a little clumsy while doing them, and just needs a little help to get on the couch to my lap.She may always have these difficulties but she's apparently not ready to go, she's otherwise very healthy, and has more years left in her.

Easily the only vet office I'll trust with my babies. Dr. Burkhart is a saint and a genuis, and Dr. Bils is so smart and kind. They will go above and beyond for your babies. Not to even mention reception, the ladies up front will ALWAYS do everything they can for you. I tried to give this 6 stars, but unfortunately Google only goes to 5.

They will not make any budges to their schedule for an emergency when your dog is not going to make it because they have a new vet that likes to spend at least 30 minutes for each visit. Thanks for nothing don’t take your animals here no compassion at all for your fur baby.

Today was our first experience and I have only good things to say about this location! They are very clean and the system they have in place works well especially with covid for being socially distanced. There was care and compassion from front desk to nurse to doctor and a clear diagnoses as well. This is our vet now, no need to look anywhere else!

I would give this clinic 100 stars if I could. They are so knowledgeable and addressed our medical concerns immediately and gave us an accurate diagnosis for our Doberman as well as excellent treatment plan which is working wonderfully. We have been using this clinic for many years and overall, it just keeps improving. The entire staff is considerate, polite and calls are responded to quickly. The Doctors are very updated on new techniques and have always given our pets the best of care. We are very pleased with our relationship to this clinic and highly recommend them .

Very pricey for services used. Had a major issue couple years ago never left a review due to how angry and insane the situation was. Will never come back here havent been back since then.You say you look into records but based off that generic response you didnt look at mine, im not calling in i havent been back nor will go back. The situation i had was horrible your vets belittled me stating i dont care for my dog but i did my best for her. Even the bet techs said i did but not your vet .

Worst customer service possible. Can’t keep any records straight of anything. It’s been an ongoing hassle with them for the past year with getting my dogs medicine. Do not recommend going here unless you want to be charged for things that weren’t discussed. Especially don’t get your dogs anxiety medicine through them because they can’t keep correct records of previous appointments or anything that had been done in the past year.

Have to say THANK YOU !!!! this place saved my dogs life a few weeks ago when a swarm of yellow jackets 🐝 attacked her. She was covered in them and by the time I got to her to fight them off she was unresponsive. Thank god they was open on a Saturday and was able to rush in and get to work on her . She spent the weekend with them and came home a lil ruff but after a week of rest and antibiotics she is back to her old self jumping on the couch and begging for my steak . This place is the best !!! Dixie and the family are forever grateful for their fast action and kindness…..

Vet was kind and thorough when caring for my dog, and ultimately prescribed exactly what was needed to get my dog healthy again. She was also helpful on giving advice on how to improve my dog’s overall health.After the initial visit I was contacted to check up on my dog. Over all it was a great experience and I would recommend this vet to anyone who wants good care for their pet.

So this is been a week now & it's nearly 4am & yeah here we go.I used this place because I recently moved & I didn't want to stress my dogs out with an hour+ ride to go to our normal vet's, yes vet's I use two.Anyway I called in & setup an appointment & I told them about some issues with our new hound puppy & was told they had a vet who was a behaviorist, so I wanted them & was told to wait on hold. They came back & asked when I could come in & I mentioned whenever that person was available, so they set me up for the 11th etc.So we get in four dogs deep & go through the process, now they did a quick little check over, nothing crazy just glaned in the mouth, massaged the back legs & listened to their heart, keep that exam in your mind it'll be important later.So they're all in for pro heart & they're needing the blood work done. No treats to distract them, the assistant after each dog kept leaving & the vet would have to call them back. And now the best part, I'm discussing my issues with the vet about the hound dogs behavior & she goes "we have a behaviorist you can talk to", to which I replied I thought that was you & she said no, they come in on the weekdays or Tuesday. So now I'm annoyed, because that's why this trip was for, the behaviorist. Anyway we get into a few dogs & finally I mentioned they want a treat because they got shots. My other vet's always give treats before, during & after, I also always get 1bag per dog per checkup, my other vet only gives me 1 bag per two dogs, no biggie. I didn't get any bag so I'm like okay well whatever. I setup my new appointment for the behaviorist & we get the bill, nearly 700.00 I'm thinking how? $55.00+ per dog for not even have of what my other vet's do for a check up. I pay 35.00 per dog, They use their tools & have disposal stuff to toss out so im like sure no problem right, they use a thermometer, they check the nose, eyes, ears, do a full body check as well as movement check with neck, legs & tail. And yet these people didn't do half of it & charged me 55+?Not only that but the biggest issue is I didn't even get to meet the vet I set up an appointment for. They want me to come back & spent 140.00 more for that. Which would of been fine, had I met the vet & that's what she said, but to do all this & nothing? Gotta say I'm disappointed. My dogs are my life & this is not acceptable to me. I'll be calling in later today & canceling my appointment, not giving someone more money when you guys can't even do a proper check up.Edit: Talked to the head manager, he assured me things would be different, that they'd do the proper procedure for the wellness exam. So today I go in & as always the staff are nice, but the exam is wrong again & now even more expensive. Two dogs 106.00 for a quick check in only one dogs mouth & a light in her eye. Didn't check her heart rate or anything like that. Didn't run hands over her body checking for anything.If you are going to charge for a service you do the service. I'm pissed & I'm glad I didn't look at the bill till 6:10 even though I went in at 2:50 because I'd of snapped in the office.Again, the care isn't the issue. It's the standards, it's upholding your end of the requirements. If you charge me for something, it had very well better be done. I swear to God I wish I lived closer to bestfriends veterinarian. It appears my conversation with the manager failed, I'll be reporting this & I'm going above them.Imagine paying for an oil change & all they did was dump in some oil & that's it.Edit#2: Just spoke to Hunter, the manager & basically he flat out told me the wellness exam is a office vist. So you're getting screwed if you have more than one pet folks. It's a shady pull & to hide that behind a wellness exam is foul. So my other vet suggested calling the veterinarian medical board of ohio & report this.
