So I purchased a 1998 Sea Ray F16XR JetBoat with a Mercury V6 2 stroke 175 HP engine as a refurbish project. Well Sea Ray Mfg. has never returned an email request, Brunswick Corp has not responded to my emails, a marina in Peninsula was no help, even the club sea ray of which I joined as a gold member, no one responded to any of my questions. Parma Marine told me to contact Pier 58 reference a jet drive and when I did, Steve was ever so helpful. Steve returned my call and even emailed me the diagram for how to service the jet drive gear box, the stator unit and the jet rudder unit. I've purchased a few items from Steve and even thought it is an hour drive for me, I'll return to purchase items that I need when I can. Thank You, Robert Sr.

I dropped a lower unit off to have the bearing carrier replaced at the end of March. I was told it would take a few weeks. I got a call a week or so later and was told the part was back ordered it would be a few more weeks.June rolls around and still nothing, i give Steve a call and he told me the part was there and he would get to it this week. August rolls around and still nothing, I call back and get the same answer i got in June.I got a call at the end of September saying my motor was done. It took 6 months to swap out a bearing carrier. Steve did a great job on the motor, everything works great. The time frame and the communication was unacceptable.Steve did a fantastic job diagnosing and explaining to me what was wrong, He is a great mechanic. If i was told straight up that he was busy and it was going to take him that long to get it done he would receive 5 stars

First time boat owner. I went there because someone told me they do very good work and friendly. I dropped my boat off today. First impression very nice people, can't wait to get my boat back, and will be buying a few things from their store.

I have been undergoing a build of a 1978 Sea Nymph the last couple weeks, with no knowledge of boats or outboard motors. The owner and staff at Pier 58 have been so helpful and understanding. I would highly reccomend anyone to check out Pier 58 Marine to anyone that is in need of marine supplies or service.

This place is like a hardware store for boats and RVs. I was able too get a door catch for my pop-up. Very friendly service and don't be afraid to ask the question, chances are it's a positive answer.Be sure that you pet the Mascot.
