Nice store, nice folks...Smaller store so some prices are higher, but not on everything. Great selections of everything they carry, and they carry many specialty foods. Shopping at this store for over 30 years.

Shout out to our local IGA for exceptional cleanliness, and broad assortment of specialty items in a moderate size store. Praise for Peggy, who is always efficient, professional, and courteous. And, a special thank you to Peggy for remembering me, and the name of my business. Today she brought my attention to my ad on the new IGA bag. Stop in and get your new IGA bag soon!

I gave IGA plenty of time to adjust after it got a new owner. I was not happy with ongoing changes but I was willing to give it a try. Today I could only get half of my usual shopping list with no possible substitutes available. I will have to go to a different store to get the rest. It used to be the best grocery store in the area for many years. It is very sad to see it getting into this shape.

Just stopped in today and grabbed a few things. The juice was expired by several months. I only checked the date because it tasted awful. How are items that have a best by date of January still on the shelf in almost July?

The deli/bakery people are really nice and appreciative and the chicken is "GREAT", but checkout was really "BAD" Because I requested the hot not be put in the same bag as the other grocery item, the cashier got a very dismissive attitude. For that reason I'll be looking elsewhere for my chicken. It's been nice to this point...

We have lived in the Oberlin area for 13 years now, and I have shopped here many times. Yes, it's a little more expensive than other places. Yes, the selection of items is nice for a smaller store. My experience today with the rude staff, however, is the last straw. I agree with the previous reviews that highlight the rudeness of the staff here, and they won't get any more business from me. The cashier who checked me out today was the rudest I have encountered in this store. She seemed more interested in greeting and talking with her friends who were just entering the store and beginning to shop than she was in helping those of us who wanted to check out. She was also unbelievably rude to my son, who was a few people ahead of me in line. Apparently, she didn't like that he set his basket of groceries on the conveyor without taking the items out first (newsflash: lots of people do this), so she dumped the basket and threw it on the floor to show her annoyance, I guess.I was sad to hear that Leo sold the store a few months ago. It seems to me that the new owners are finding even ruder employees than Leo had.

Very high prices. That's what happens when a business in a small town is the only one of its kind. The store personnel are helpful and friendly. The deli is well stocked. If there was another choice, I would shop elsewhere for the basics and hit IGA for a special treat.

It’s more expensive than Walmart, but the quality of the products are the same, plus it’s a lot closer to the college than Walmart is.

The quintessential neighborhood grocer. Not always the most price competitive but a nice selection and outstanding quality produce , meat and bakery. Staff is friendly and know where stuff is at. You'll often see the store owner on the floor working along side his employees and talking to customers. The real hometown grocery store!

This grocery store is a great little Hometown Store. People are very friendly & they have quite a bit to choose from even though it's in a small town. Everything looks really fresh and good. And the deli is awesome! I love these little grocery stores like this, these are my favorite! The prices are pretty comparable to any of the big Chain stores like Walmart or Giant Eagle.

Good store, some stuff is priced the same as other stores but overall the prices are a little exaggerated. I'd rather go to Aldis

My fiancé and I are new to the area and not aware of the closing time. We walked in a few minutes after 7:00 p.m. after a nice stranger held the door open for us. As soon as we walked in a woman on the cash register screamed at us from across the room that “I had just locked the doors and that we need to get out now” I told her I just needed a loaf of bread, she then rolled her eyes and turned around. All eyes were on us and no other associate corrected her. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a store and will never be going back. However, the owner is very kind and said they would look into the camera footage. Hopefully they’ll hire kinder and more professional staff in the future.

I love this store. Donuts are amazing and has most of the items we need. They cater and adjust to consumer demand so if you don't see something it may just be because not enough people are looking for it or know about it. Just ask.

Its the best kept secret in the oberlin area. They keep it very clean and sanitized its not like the big box walk a long way then more inside. U know. The prices are competitive with the big stores. The meats are of high quality and reasonable. In house meat cutters. Some things may be a bit expensive but the good prices and quality far out weigh that. SHOP THERE!

Quaint little grocery store. It has the basics but is more expensive overall than the big boys. We'll see if the new Aldi's brings down their prices

Small store with all the things you might need in a quick run to the store kind of way. Everyone is so polite and nice, and super helpful! Very clean and well organized. The only con is that it's a bit on the pricey side.

Went in last night around dinner time and it was easy to shop no crowds. It's clean and the employees were helpful. I think they are a bit higher priced so I think that is the only downfall I could see which is a big one.

This store has fruits and foods from around the world because of the diversity in Oberlin, but everything is way overpriced. I stopped in at their deli yesterday for a small size baked beans and a large sized potato salad for dinner, it was $11 . No thanks

Friendly and helpful clerks. I stop in almost every week. Like the variety of hot foods, especially the chicken . I like it when hot foods offer mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers. Good sales. Good bakery.
