The "Vaccine Area" is filty. I checked in at the counter for my 2nd does of Zoster and was told to wait in the vaccine area. It's a chair at the end of an aisle. After 10 minutes, some guy hustles out from behind the counter, "Sterile gloves"?? already on. Ask if I'm there for the first Zoster vaccine. No, it's supposed to be the second. He says it's the same thing and proceeds.

I was previously getting 5 prescriptions filled at this location. And just like everyone else that's reviewed this store, there were CONSTANT issues. I waited in the drive through line for over 20 minutes. When it was finally my turn, the blonde who is ALWAYS rude closed the blinds right in my face. I got in the drive through line at 1:10. There were only two cars ahead of me. Plenty of time right before the 1:30 cut off due to lunch. I actually pulled up to the window at 1:29... So technically they SHOULD'VE helped me in the first place, it wasn't 1:30 yet. Anyways, I knocked on the window before the blind was even all the way down, was still ignored. I only had 2 scripts to pick up this time and they were waiting and ready to go. I then see this same rude blonde (I believe her name is Laura) walk out of the store. I pull around and tried to talk to her just to let her know how frustrated I was... She said I don't care, I'M ON MY LUNCH. I then called the store to talk to the pharmacy manager who was NOT HELPFUL. I told her at that time I was going to be switching all my scripts to a different pharmacy. She apologized that I felt this way, but didn't apologize for the way I was treated. But that she would put a note in the system. However, I am a procrastinator and didn't switch them right away. To my complete surprise and astonishment, I then go to get my next script a couple weeks later and that same manager I talked to said this is THE LAST TIME we will fill these for you. And that I would have to go to another CVS. I asked why, she specifically told me "that it was due to the incident in the parking" lot I didn't go to another CVS, I went to Walgreens, I've not had ONE issue by the way and this was about a year ago. So, if you're one to speak your mind, better be careful with these people. So, instead of an apology, I got denied from filling my scripts there because I complained? It's ridiculously rude and so entitled. Do not go to this pharmacy. Also I was in the store shopping for some deals yesterday (first time since the pharmacy incident).... Their signage is never right, they'll put sale signs where they don't go, leading a customer to buy the wrong item that's not included. I had to return a couple things and the store manager, Holly, was so rude and condescending. She talked to me like she thought I was stupid. Actually sighed and blamed ME by stating "you got the wrong items" when their items were in the wrong place? I will never spend another dime in that store. By the way, I'm a couponer and have saved them from possibly multiple lawsuits. I've taken expired MEDICINE to the counter AT LEAST 4 times in the past so no one would buy it. And no thank you, nothing. I bet you I've spent $2,000.00, in that CVS alone, within the last year and a half. I could almost guarantee they took a hit in sales when I stopped shopping there. There ARE two nice women who work there, one of them being Marilyn and one other woman at the register. At least they're friendly! Holly and the pharmacy manager seriously need more CUSTOMER service training on how to treat people. I saw in a review above... The reviewer stated "it's like they want less customers". And I totally agree. It's like they're consciously running people away. If I could given ZERO stars, I would've. I'm contemplating returning everything I bought from them yesterday (I got about $250 with of items, but after my digital coupons and extra bucks I had, I only paid a little over a hundred out of pocket) and spending my money where it will be appreciated! I wish I could tell these women to their faces how disliked they are... But they'd probably try to get me arrested for harassment. š Oh, I forgot, when I first arrived I heard Holly and another employee talking about another employee (I'm assuming) could've been a customer with their track record. I heard the F word a couple times and the whole conversation. Talk about feeling awkward. They were trying to be discreet, but obviously weren't if I heard it.

Pharmacy (as other have noted) is absolutely horrible. The "head pharmacist" guy verbally made fun of a customer who had just called in. They used her full name (HIPAA violation) while loudly discussing her issues in a joking manner. Extremely off-putting. I'll be reporting this incident officially.

Extremely poor customer service. Routinely prescriptions are not filled timely. No accountability from staff. Pharmacy occasionally closes because no staff available or closes the drive through window due to staffing issues. Consistently the worst CVS experience to the point my family switched pharmacies.

I went to the Oakwood CVS on a Sunday desperate for generic Alleve. I bought 50 tablets that they charged over 11 dollars. I went to my usual pharmacy at MVH and the same number of tablets were a little over 3 dollars. I am sure this gouging is going on at all CVS stores.

I've always had a pleasant, easy experience with this pharmacy, but a special shout out goes to the woman working the pharmacy window tonight ā¤ļø She clearly cares deeply about other's well-being.

The pharmacist refused to fill my husbandās prescription for pain medicine and he just had surgery so we had to call CVS corporate and they forced him to do it, but this was three hours later. Corporate said the pharmacist didnāt wanna lose his license by filling the pain medication prescription. He also had the excuse that he needed my medical benefits BCBS to personally tell him that they werenāt paying for it. This is never happened before and I donāt appreciate the pharmacist playing āGodā with my husbandās medication, especially after surgery. Iām moving all of my prescriptions out of the Oakwood CVS store as soon as I can Iām never going back there because I always always always have an issue at the that Oakwood CVS store. The only reason why Iām giving a one star is because I have to. ššššš is what they should get.

Quite possibly the worst pharmacy in the area. Pompous and rude pharmacist (The nasty, snarky younger guy) who seemed to everything. How is the customer supposed to know the CVS changed its policy on certain paper scripts? BTW, you might not want to cop an attitude until you know the situation. Between the overflowing trash bins, and empty pill bottles all over the floor, I'm glad we went to Wags down the street. Completely different experience!

Trust the reviews, the pharmacy here is horrible. The pharmacist doesnt know whats going on and neither does his little helpers. They'll screw you over any chance they get. If you for some reason still decide to pick your prescriptions up here you're a fool.

Worst pharmacy on earth. Nothing is ever in stock. Pharmacists are completely inept and the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing. 4 different times my one prescription was listed as "out of stock." Called each time to see if it was filled. Was told twice to "come tomorrow morning" and then "it will be ready by 4." Showed up both times only to find out prescription was not filled and still out of stock.Finally. Today. Spoke with a pharmacist who halfway had his head on straight. Told me it was a manufacturers issue and it would be ready by 2pm. Told him that I have gone 15 days without this medication, can I please come by in one hour. Sure. Get in the car, he calls back, "actually it's not going to be filled because your insurance only covers name brand and all we have is generic. You'll have to have this filled at a different pharmacy moving forward." So, this whole time, for 2 weeks, I was wasting my time and not one of the 4 different pharmacists I spoke to had enough brainpower to see that even when the generic version of my prescription came back into inventory that they wouldn't be able to fill it.Tried to move all my prescriptions in store to another location since I was in there twice for literally nothing. Pharmacist looked at me like I had 3 heads and then with a smug look provided me absolutely zero help and was smirking the whole time like it was a funny predicament to be in. Called my doctor and he was able to move all my prescriptions to a Walgreens. If I could give this place zero stars I would.Customer service was a zero. Pharmacists knowledge was a zero. Having anything in stock (others in the long line that wrapped around the store also had out of stock issues) was a zero. Called CVS customer service and spoke to someone who was getting in touch with the district rep for the Pharmacy. Told me it was the 3rd complaint on this Pharmacy alone that week.I've never had issues with my prescriptions before. I've moved around a lot and the transition has always been seamless. I can't begin to tell you what an absolute cluster and display of mismanagement this place is. The community of Oakwood should be embarrassed that a storefront in their town not only hires such inferior failures as employees but also that nothing seems to change.

I have been a loyal customer to the CVS for over 10 years. I am sad to say that when I made my appointment to get a vaccine booster I was sent away without it, not because they didnāt have it, but because they could not figure out how to make it work in the system. My insurance does not have a prescription card attached and for some reason that meant I couldnāt get the vaccine. I offered to pay in cash and they said no. I asked them to call a higher up and try to make it happen and they said no. There was no sense of urgency or even care that I had scheduled a day off from work and an entire weekend for vaccine side effects and would be going away without a booster that could potentially save my life. This is a sad day and my disappointment cannot be more underlined. Itās a first world problem but it is a problem. To put this into perspective, after a lot of phone calling and searching online I was able to get my shot with absolutely no problem at Walgreens. I am now a loyal Walgreens customer and goodbye to CVS . I should probably say that the lack of professionalism was really quite disgusting. At one point I overheard the woman that was āhelpingā me disparage me to another coworker because I was upset, though I did not raise my voice. Thanks for your empathy, not!I should say to that the only person with a modicum of care or professionalism was not a CVS employee but instead the nurse that gave me my flu shot, that I did pay for out of pocket. Again amazing and really disappointing.

Phone calls to the pharmacy will be disconnected if storefront is busy and employees donāt answer the line. This has happened multiple times, so I am obligated to physically visit the store for questions about my medication. I brought this to the attention of staff today and was told, by the pharmacy employee working the drive-thru window, that this couldnāt be helped when there were lots of customers being tended to in person. I asked her to please notify the manager, as this business model is problematic for customers who canāt always make it to the store in person. I received an eye roll and dismissal, so I had to ask explicitly again if she could please present the concern to management. Based off of the interaction and lack of professionalism, I am concerned that the practice of hanging up on customers will not be addressed. Pharmacy staff on other occasions have been unprofessional, as well, including workplace gossip about customers and coworkers in earshot of customers in line, waiting to be tended to while chit chat continues. Apparently the pharmacy closes at the same time for lunch every day, but nowhere do signs indicate this. I am under the impression that the pharmacy and store as a whole want fewer customers and are trying to discourage Oakwood residents from using their services, instead of better training and staffing the facility. Iāll gladly revise this review if thereās an improvement in customer service.

I've lived in Oakwood 5 months and the only business I've ever received horrible treatment from is this CVS. The latter of the pharmacy techs are incredibly unprofessional. I've had experiences with two pharmacy techs. The way they talked to me was incredibly hostile and rude. I had the pleasure of being disrespected by a pharmacy tech that had no idea I was in the store waiting for my medicine to be ready. When I reported these incidences to management the store manager defended the techs and said that they deal with a lot every day and are threatened because they are behind. I explained just because someone is having a tough day does not give them a pass to treat people poorly. She also implied I was responsible for one of the techs walking out in his job after taking a call from me. She also implied that I transfer my medications to a different location. There is no accountability, integrity or kindness that exists at this CVS.

I never had an issue with this pharmacy, but today I had one. I stood in line for about 10 min.waiting on my meds. I then got up to to the second cash register at the pharmacy, stood there for about 5 min. There were about 5 or 6 staff members working at the pharmacy, and nobody waited on me. Nobody said Iāll be with you in just a minute, or anything. My time is valuable too. The other lady at the register finally waited on me. What kind of service is this?

They kept calling to fill a prescription that was already filled. They're automated system wouldn't connect me with a person at the store. The store oozes incompetence everywhere and is a horrible experience at all points of the customer journey.

Hi, do not care for the service received from this particular pharmacy. I waited for 32 minutes on hold for simple questions that I needed answered. And when I got the girl in the phone, she seemed a little put off that I was upset about a 32 minute wait. I have gone to the drive-through before I have sat there for over 30 minutes whilst the person was waiting on one person for that period of time. I am very dismayed with CVS.

My prescription was called in and after multiple attempts to find out the status they said it would be ready next morning. Next day, Again calling no answer, drove to store at 2 pm to get a response and they told me it wasnāt in stock and they couldnāt fill it. I waited an entire day for this response. Had it transferred to another drugstore. After more than 2 hours the other drugstore canāt get them to respond to requests.Wonāt be back anytime soon.

Absolute wreck of a pharmacy, always clueless and a disaster. Youād think since they completely shut down for an HOUR lunch, theyād be able to perform the other hours theyāre there. Iāve been a customer for years and finally switched. High staff turnover rate means employees have no experience and itās impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. Sadly many have complained and nothing changes because they donāt care.

Usually great and helpfulPharmacy staff. Have a parent with dementia who likes to go get their own meds, but was brushed off during a rush - without bothering to see that this was something we called in advance about. I had to go in to get the meds myself because staff just told them ānope we canāt fill that todayā and kept talking about how slammed they were. One look at the chart wouldāve helped. Every other staff has been great but this particular one was not helpful. I waited in line and just mentioned the med and when it was called in to a different pharmacy staff and he helped me/filled it immediately. Be persistent and be your own advocate or you get brushed off.

Worst experience ever. Calling in an attempt to verify medication in-stock before having doctor e-scribe, called multiple times over three days, ALL calls were on hold at least 30 MINUTES before giving up, never once having reached a person. Inexcusably horrible service.

Terrible customer service. I was promised by child's blood pressure medicine would be ready for pickup next day at 12. After that failed promise and four phone calls inquiring if the script was ready, they changed their story to " tomorrow at the earliest." Obviously this is an important medication. If they were unable to fulfill the prescription they just had to say and I would have gone elsewhere. I asked to speak to the pharmacist. Speaking with her gave me little confidence she was even capable of performing her job safely. She was rattling pills in the background and completely zoned out during our conversation. I asked her if she was still listening twice before she mumbled "uh-huh" back. I do not recommend this location for anyone. This was my third and final attempt with this CVS. They are seriously lacking.

Doctor called in a prescription yesterday morning. I call. The automated system tells me I have a prescription in process. I hit zero five times to speak to a human. Currently on hold for 25 minutes. Happens every time I call. I understand everyone is understaffed, but this is ridiculous.

I would like to take this time to comment on Ashley at the Pharmacy counter. I have found Ashley to be an exceptional employee as well as a very dedicated and responsible employee. She habitually demonstrates monumental people skills with her customers during visits and she is well versed in in helping customers with their needs. Ashley is very committed to her job. She appears to be a team player and an asset to CVS Pharmacy for customer service, regardless how busy she is. My wife and I were also very pleased to see Rachael the Pharmacist, at the Oakwood location, after the CVS Pharmacy at the Stroop location closed !!! She is a great Pharmacist!!!

Trying to get my rescue inhaler refilled, and of course they were out of stock, but stated it would be ready the next day at 3:00. Several days later, I was still waiting. I was told that if I wanted to switch to another pharmacy, I had to be the one to call pharmacies to see if they had my medicine in stock. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I quit using this pharmacy years ago after they gave my daughter the wrong medicine, but thought I would try it again since this location is close. What a headache. I will never use this CVS again!

I visited the minute clinic for the first time today with a pretty strong cold. I was first told in my appointment that my best course if action was to cancel the appointment I was already sitting in and first use the rapid testing center in a small box in the parking lot. In order to do so I had to go online re schedule a visit with them only do I can return to the minute clinic appointment I was already in. It was 345 and the next rapid test was at 5:00. After scheduling it I drive over to the small box where they test you and checked in with the confirmation number. I am now being forced to wait until 5 even though I'm parked right outside then box and there are no customers here or arriving. Whole situation is a complete joke and to top it off I got nothing but attitude by the resident inside the minute clinic like I was the inconvenience in this situation? I do regret coming here when I have a real illness and feel terrible. Please don't make the same mistake I did and visit a real doctor who knows how to handle patients, not this sorry excuse for a doctor thrown together to take in money for CVS who aren't prepared for actual illnesses and treatment

Edited review: this CVS has gone downhill. I donāt know if itās staffing issues or what, but prescriptions are no longer ready in a timely manner.I'm not really sure why this CVS has bad reviews. I've been picking up medicine there for about 2 years with no issues.

Stopped to use the bathroom. It was kind of hard to find- but once located I was extremely satisfied. I walked into the mens bathroom and to the most abundantly pleasant smell. Cleanliness? Immaculate. The smell? Even better. They had a fragrant automatic squirted mounted to the wall. Whoever chooses the scent has exceptional taste- or shall I say .. smell. When Iām the area this is the only public restroom I will use! Highly recommend shopping at this location if you too are a frequent public bathroom user. 9/10

Stood at the pharmacy window for 15 minutes with 3 people working the pharmacy. All 3 aware I was there and had eye contact with me, but no one said āhelloā or āIāll be with you in a momentā. Two were just sitting, 1 was dealing with drive through. Still not a word. So I stood. Clearly no professionalism here, take your business elsewhere.

Always a great experience with this pharmacy and overall-store staff. They have helped me figure out prescription/insurance hang-ups many a time and their service and friendliness will keep me coming back! Best experience with a CVS and pharmacy in general in the Dayton area. Highly recommend!
