Small sized dog park, not heavy populated. 2 dogs is the most I've ever experienced at 1 time. Great for smaller dogs or a quick trip.

I work here and it has the most caring and loving workers. The animals are very nice and they really love getting a home.

Staff is friendly and the cats seem to be well cared for... we adopted a cat named "Cheez-It", he is a wonderful pet... the only bad thing about the Huron Cty Humane Society (and this holds true for ANY animal shelter) is that its sad to see so many animals that don't have a home, I'd take them all if I could...

My mom got a puppy from here a few months ago. When she asked how often it was taken out into grass to go potty the lady said a few times...that was after we found out they had had these puppies for quite a while. I don't believe in my heart they pay these animals enough attention that they need and deserve. I don't believe these animals are taken care of the way they should be.

My new fur baby has made friends with new brothers with in a day. Good job showing your fur guests love till they get their furever home! Highly recomend.

We recently had a cat dropped off. She obviously had been house cat & scrawny. My daughter took in and then came 2 kittens. My daughter has numerous lung issues & on oxygen and the cat fur& litter really made her worse so we tried to take to Huron co humane society. They totally refused them. They were full.Which I've now heard is what they tell all. My daughter was in car with her oxygen so they knew it wasn't just a story. We live on a farm and have had many cats dropped off. Even though Not ours we have always fed & taken care of them. Soo many we've lost count, but when we needed the so called humane society they couldn't have cared less about the circumstances!! No wonder all these cats just get dropped off all the time. There is Nothing humane about it! Since this issue others have told me anyone they know deals with Erie or Lorain co cause Huron co Always says they are full or just refuse to take. Wouldn't donate a thing here.

Always donate whatever I can no matter if its food..dishes...beds...toys...Staff is always so nice an pleasant..Well have adopted a few cats from there and always a wonderful experience..Staff is so willing to help out and answer any questions we may have.. They really care about the pets!!

The two pets I've gotten, I've picked from here. People are nice. Its very clean and nice. Its very small and a little hard to find. You can donate food or treats as well. They have their local donations. 😊☺

Most of the employees there are great they’re very helpful but I got a couple that just used in abused but it’s a good place to get a dog

Found the perfect dog for my granddaughter. He is a great dog. Employees were friendly and we were able to interact with all the dogs and it was easy to pick the right one.

every time I go to the hearing county Humane Society it is always clean it doesn't smell like most of the other places I've gone to two and the people are very nice and helpful

Just made a call here and spoke to the ALLEGED "humane agent", Chris. She was rude and remote in attitude. WHERE is the humanity in that?!? These organizations are NO longer what they used to be. Nobody cares anymore. Not for kids, and MOST CERTAINLY NOT FOR ANIMALS. And YET people have the nerve to wonder why folks are forced to resort to abandoning the pets they can no longer maintain (thanks to monetary squeezes by landlords, vets, and organizations like this one) when they are met with such disdain, uncaring, and absence of compassion.

We tried to save a golden ret. Puppy and they came to our house and denied us because we had one goldie and a cavalier king Charles that was 2 dogs ....so was not happy broke my daughter's heart we went there 4 days in a row to see her. Jim
