I have been taking my silky terrier to Designer Doggies for more than 5 years. Every experience we've had has been a pleasant one. I also get my chihuahua/minpin's nails trimmed there. They always do a great job (my dog looks and smells fabulous), and they are always friendly and helpful at the counter. They are reasonably priced too. I have recommended them to my friends, and recommend them to you as well.

My corgi had a wonderful experience at Designer Doggies! The ladies there are very competent and loving. My dog had had a neck problem, but the groomer understood and was very careful with her. My filthy dog came out looking like a show dog. Loved the doggy-themed bandana. This is the first bandana that was her size. Do not judge Designer Doggies by the outside. Inside has been redone and looks lovely. If your dog needs a spa day or just a bath or nail trim, try Designer Doggies, you won't be sorry.

I've been taking my dogs here for a couple of years now, they always have good availability - often times they are able to get me in the same week I call, sometimes even the same day. I have two schnauzers that I get the classic schnauzer cut for and they come out looking good every time. I also brought in my grandmother's elderly shih tzu who is not very cooperative and difficult to groom, they still did the their best with her and she came out looking super cute.

We have been going to Designer Doggies for many years with our 2 Wheaten Terriers. They are friendly, professional and do amazing cuts with my 2 fur kidd. They also have just nail clipping prices too. Even with Covid they are open and schedule things appropriately and have put procedures in place to keep us safe. Highly recommend!

The owner is a SNOT. I dropped off my dog for a grooming and when I came back to pick her up, it was the OWNER who returned her to me. My dog was exactly the way she was when I brought her in. She hadn't even been touched. My dog is a short hair Bull terrier mix. It wasn't until I got her home that I realized the situation. The owner DID know this at the time and she still charged me. I had to bring my dog back again for a full grooming. Her prices are a little cheaper but there again ..you get what you pay for. I use the "dog wash" now that's up the road. I use ANOTHER groomer when I need my dogs nails clipped. The owner never once acknowledged the situation or even apologized. She's a snotty weirdo.

I took my yorkie in for a full groom. They did a wonderful job. When I got home I noticed his nails weren’t done. I went back a second time a while later and mentioned the nails. I was completely ignored. She took him back and I looked at his nails when she returned. I told her they weren’t done she said they were. I told her they were not.. quick change of attitude.. very rude and told me if I didn’t like it go some place else. And still charged me for a nail trim that was never done. I will never go back again

Took my dogs for a nail trim today - two large dogs, both very skittish about having their nails cut. The staff was very nice, answered all my questions when I called ahead and very friendly once we arrived. However, the groomer didn't make much of an attempt to trim my dogs nails because she was growly. I understand that, but at that point maybe say "there is nothing we can do" and I could've left. Instead she offered me the dremel to try and trim the nails myself. I was able to trim almost all of my female's nails, but only got about 2 or 3 done on my male as he was just way too nervous. They charged me full price for both!! $20 when I did all the work myself (the groomer held my dogs leash for me). I honestly didn't mind being charged for one dog - even though I did all the work myself, she still got a nail trim and we did use their dremel tool. But the second dog still needs a nail trim! So I basically paid full price to dremel a couple of his nails myself. I'm sure this is a great little place for smaller dogs, but they didn't seem comfortable with my big dogs at all. Had I known it was going to be DIY I would've just stayed home and saved myself some money

Something happened, not sure. My dog has been groomed from 12 weeks on. When I brought her home.I couldn't touch/kiss her muzzle. She would cry and pull away. Also had puffy swelling around her mouth and lip areas. I know they can tie gauze around dogs nose area to protect groomer from dog snapping when being groomed. I believe this might have been placed too tight. My gal is a sweet agility dog/well trained and loves people so I dont know what happened. This is the first incident we have had at any groomer with her.Won't return here.

Had used this place for years. As a few other people stated I'm not sure what changed but apparently they can't handle doing my dogs nails anymore which is interesting because she'd been going there for 2 years and things were always ok. But now we are asked to not come back. Go to country paws and claws. She took care of things just fine.

Great place to take your dog. The owner is very nice and does a great job. I dont understand the negative reviews at all. Hugo has been groomed sometimes the same day I call. I highly recommend

My dog is a nervous wreck to get his nails done. Lisa and Kim are AMAZING with him! He will let them do anything, whereas he would bite me. They have such patience with a dog! They are fabulous!

I took my pekipom here for the first time and was very happy with the unrecognizable pooch that came home! I had to leave for for about 3 hours, but I didn't feel any anxiety because the woman working there was so sweet and gentle with her. I explained that Lola had 2 trick knees that were bad and she came home without any sort of limp or strain. Great little place!

We take our 2 miniature daschund's there to have their nails trimmed. If you ask, they will use a dremel. They have always done a good job over the past 6 years. Also, try the homemade dog bisquits. Our dogs go crazy for them.

We have taken our dog to this place for quite some time and I have never been treated like this before.... Total lack of customer respect and professionalism. I dont need a lecture on how to brush my dog.. He has a thick coat, which is why I take him to a groomer in the first place!! Will be going to another groomer from now on!

Terrible terrible service....receptionist is rude and fake niceness with her innocent voice and the grooming lady was unprofessional and looked like she didn't have a clue how to clip dogs nails in the first place. As I walked in there was someone in front of me complaining about their dogs toenails..Got my dog back with one paw not clipped at all and the other 3 crooked and different lengths....her recommendation was to take him to another place when he has been going there for years with no problem....but it's okay will never go back and won't reference them to ANYONE!

Don't let the receptionist fool you with her fake kindness. She quickly turned very rude to me and my children. I will never take my dogs back there again. They did a poor job and I was treated very disrespectfully. Makes you wonder how they treat the dogs?????

Wish they can squeeze me in once in awhile....always have to wait 2-3 days to get dogs in when I call. Dont have a regular schedule so expect ppl to help me out with dogs when I'm free to get them groomed
