We had SUCH an excellent experience here! We have 3 dogs, all untrained, who struggle socially around other dogs and people. It's always a stressful experience taking them out not knowing how they will respond, but the staff was so calm, kind, and ready to handle our babies with love! They accommodated for our last-minute booking and were so friendly! Definitely our new spot for grooming. Our dogs smelled great, nails perfect, and a little bandana on each. They all came out tails wagging :)

Wouldn't recommend this place.... brought my dog in for a simple nail trim and pad trim.... they barely cut anything.

Took my Goldendoodle & lab here a handful of times. The last time they handed my goldendoodle to me with his belly/underside covered in blood. He had a laceration/cut on his paw pad. I get accidents happen but they told me my lab bit him. My lab would never do this and additionally a bite would cause a puncture not a thin laceration. I also just paid for bath and grooming and they didnt even attempt to clean up the blood off of him or wrap his paw.In addition if your pet is injured they should be attended to and owner called not left to bleed in a cage and lay in it.Will never return.

Good luck ever getting a hold of them. Took my yorkie there to get groomed one time and I remember having to call about three times at different times of the day to get him in. Finally my fiancé was able to get a hold of them and we got him booked. Haircut was decent but not worth the hassle with trying to get a hold of them! I called today multiple times to try to book another appointment and again they did not answer. Never going back….Either get something up for customers to book an appointment online or get better at answering your phones!

I take my mini poodle there and they pay attention to his needs. He’s very old and hard or hearing and has bad back legs. They take very good care of him and are very gentle with him and always make him look good and smell good even though he can be hard to work with sometimes.

Took my kitty there to get groomed and was a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely nice and helpful with suggestions on how to trim. First time was great and look forward to becoming a regular customer. My kitty was very happy and looked fantastic.

I'd love to give them a higher rating but when my cat gets his cut its a bit shabby. I had a friend pick my little boy up I was not able to pick him up, she liked the little shop and had her Dog groomed the next day. Not to pricey, Friendly,and pleasant.

Took my cat here to get a full shave since she had some mats and they did a fantastic job. Everything was a nice even cut and the price was very fair! Everyone here was very nice as well. I will be bringing her back for her next shave.

My little guy has become increasingly aggressive and was grooming him myself but some things I just can't do. Took him to 3 different groomers, all unable to complete his grooming due to his behavior, until my dog walker Diana from Cuddles and Care referred me to Barking Barbers. When I called to book an appointment, I explained the situation, and without skipping a beat said they would try.When I arrived for the appointment, and 1 sedation pill later, he was still too alert and not sedated enough to follow through with the appointment. The groomer and I both decided it was best to move the appointment.So patient, so nice, was able to squeeze us in on a Saturday (the most busiest day) and she was able to get my little guy groomed.😢😢I'm so very thankful.

I took my little toy poodle here for some much needed grooming because my usual groomers were on an extended vacation. They were immediately so sweet and gentle upon receiving her. She is very timid and easily frightened with some pretty bad separation anxiety. The kind woman talked to her and was trying to calm her. When I picked my little girl up she looked so clean and pretty. Her haircut was even, they kept her short in all the right places. The groomer cleaned her teeth AND ears. She smelled good for days afterwards and that really is something with how much of a little stinker she can be. She still looks nice and clean and that was already a couple of weeks ago. It is also worth noting that she was nowhere near as anxious afterwards as she usually is when she returns from any groomer. The only reason I would give 4 stars is because her grooming did take a little longer than usual at most places. The only reason this was a concern is because of how bad her separation anxiety is. It is also worth noting that it could have been a busy day for the business as well so I really can't hold anything against them. They also worked her into their schedule extremely fast compared to any other groomer I have ever taken my little girl to. They did such a wonderful job and have such reasonable prices that I will definitely be returning for any of my little girl's grooming needs from now on.

Let me just put this out there...we own the world's smelliest dog. There is something about this beloved dog of ours that warrants a bath almost weekly, but we love him anyway. In the past 13 years, we have never been able to get him smelling fresh like Barking Barbers does. Not only that, but their de-shedding treatment removes his loose fur and stops him from shedding further. Now he no longer needs weekly baths, and his white fur stays on him instead of sticking to everything. They always take such good care of him, and make sure that they are careful with the arthritis in his legs. He also received a special personalized Christmas ornament last December which we absolutely adore. Oh, and they groom cats.One other bonus is their sweet, fluffy Persian cat who roams the office. He lets me wrap both of my arms around that expertly groomed fluff and give him a nice long hug while he purrs in my ears. If anything, you should go there just for that :D

Barking Barbers are very reasonable with their prices and are always accommodating with scheduling our dog to get groomed. Our dog sees Becca, who has been so great to her!! Our dog can be hard to handle due to her 2 previous owners, and the abuse she went through. Becca never has turned her down, though she knows how hard our dog is to handle. We thank her soo much for loving, caring, and having the patients for her! I highly recommend this shop, and Becca, as a groomer!! ♡

Barking Barbers in North Ridgeville is the perfect place to take your pet to be groomed. From nail clipping to the full spa treatment, they do it all. They are affordable, so many pet owners bring their pooches in monthly. The people who work there are friendly and knowledgeable, so pet owners can feel comfortable placing their darlings in expert hands. I highly recommend Barking Barbers to owners who have pets that need to be groomed.

I would of given them 5 stars but the hours are not good, they say open to 6pm Tuesday, got up there and they closed at 2:30 a waste of a trip. But when I do go they are very good with me cat.
