We stayed at Clay's Park a few years ago and thought it was fun and then I saw that it turned into a Jellystone so we figured we'd give it another go. I went to book for a standard back-in RV site in that just had electric and water (I think) and almost had a heart attack when I saw the cost was about FIVE HUNDRED and FIFTY DOLLARS for our family of six! That wasn't including golf cart or any extras....literally just to rent the space. You mean to tell me that I have to pay $550 to stay in my OWN camper!? Get the heck out of here. I can't believe people pay that.

Great family campground! I took my sons family for a nice weekend getaway. My grandsons had so much fun on the inflatables and the kayaks. My little 2yr granddaughter loved the splash pad. I love that there is a pool and hot tub now. We had 3 tents on our site and still plenty of room.

We tent camped at Clay’s Park this summer with our three granddaughters. When I booked the site, I thought it was very expensive. What we found was a WONDERFUL vacation just 25 minutes from home. Our granddaughters only endured going back to camp to eat and sleep. They loved the water park so much that after we packed up the tents, we went back for more water fun with a picnic lunch in tow. They couldn’t get enough!! We found everything to be so perfect for their ages: 4, 5 and 10. It was good there were two of us to chase after them because they were hyped.Total value for the price.Safety: Ample lifeguards for a very busy water park

Great cabin location on the fishing lake. All went out fishing early morning. Kids loved the kayaking and bike riding up to thle water complex. Older boys loved all the inflatables and log rolling. Younger ones loved the water park activities. Close, but not too close to Columbus Zoo and The Wilds also. Will definitely book again.

My family has visited Clay's park 2 years in a row now and this year we brought my brother's family with us because it was a such a great time. There are tons of activities and now has a new pool, splash pad and hot tub that opened this year, so you won't get bored. Campgrounds are really nice too. Loved hiking and bike riding too. My suggestions for improvement are to offer more food varieties and/or restaurants on the campground and also keep the Waterpark open later in the day.

We loved the place. Only "downside" is the size. Prepare to drive or get a golf cart for going across the campground. There are tons of activities for literally every age. My youngest is ten and my in laws are in their 70s everyone had fun!

We love Clay's! This was our second stay and we had a great spot on the water. We arrived on Sunday of Labor Day weekend and it was super busy, but nearly everyone left on Monday. After that, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was awesome! We had great weather, the couple that worked at the front gate were extremely helpful, and we were able to really relax - which was the whole point of our stay.

We camped her in July 2023. Our son, daughter-in-law and 4 little grandkids joined us. The campsite it picked was full sun which was beautiful however our air conditioner went out and the temperature soared to 95 degrees outsid. The camper was unbearable. This resort was sold out but they went out of their way to help us out. This is the third different Yogi Park we've stayed at. It is definitely the best. Adults down to our 2 year old were having the time of there life. You definitely want to rent a golf cart. This place is huge. Try it out and you'll want to go no where else. Have fun!

I love having this little adventure zone right in my backyard! A quick 20 minute drive feels like you are on a vacation far away from reality. The grounds are always beautifully kept and clean. The staff is extremely obliging and helpful. I’ve never had a bad experience here!!! Def recommend for a weekend away or even a quick day of sun!

Extremely overpriced. After Labor Day all the amenities are closed but they still want $100 a night to park my RV in the dirt. No one at the gate checking people in ,just drive in.Security is a joke, unless your music is too loud. Will never be back

First time here this past week. When we got there Sunday there was trash everywhere from the previous visitors. The bathrooms weren't clean. I was worried. But we had a good spot for our tent next to a river. The swimming lake was our favorite with the inflatables. The canoes were fun. The store was great for the items we forgot. The pool was wonderful. The little pool (can't call it a jacuzzi when it wasn't warm) was nice too. The splash section was fun. The arcade took most of our money so I don't recommend it. The rec center was fun with games and activities. The theater was far and we weren't told the movie times. The next day the bathrooms were spotless. I saw them clean the bathroom. And the trash was gone. The staff didn't seem to informed when asked basic questions so that should improve. The trash was gone. I was happy. We had a great time. We'll definitely be back. Definitely recommend! The cabins are extremely pricey though wish they were more affordable. But over all great time! Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly faces but they weren't informative. They just gave us our papers and said have fun. We had no idea of the events or anything happening. It would be nice to get a copy of that and more information for first timers like us. But again over all made the most out of the experience and we had fun.

I absolutely love this campground! As soon as you pull in, you are met with fresh landscaping, wide open space, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is absolutely wonderful and such a pleasure to interact with! The grounds are immaculate. All of the new amenities and attractions are top notch and stunning! The new cabins are beautiful. You can tell that the park is loved and care for. Such a wonderful place to vacation!

We stayed at Clay's for Counteyfest 2023 and I was blown away at how beautiful the campgrounds were. The staff was so helpful and kind especially to my dad who is older and on oxygen. We had an amazing time and the resort provided top notch service and resources to help keep the campgrounds clean, safe and organized which was no small feat. We will definitely go back and enjoy more of the amenities! Thanks for a great long weekend!

Overall experience was great. We stayed in a full hook-up back in RV spot with a concrete pad. Grass was cut. I will say, if you have ever stayed at a KOA, spots are closer than together than that. Everything at the site was easily accessible. Two lakes, pool, and other water functions on the premises. The pool is very, very busy. They only keep it open until 7 p.m., which I think is super early for the cost you're paying to stay here. Lake was not our thing for our 10 year old. It's more for older kids. He absolutely loved the pool. They have cabanas to rent that are nice but absolutely absurdly expensive. They have a food place close to Lake. Again, it was absolutely absurdly expensive. Serves few lunch things. Waited 1:15 minutes for chicken tenders and fries. My suggestion would be to pack a cooler and eat your own food. One day, they did hot dogs and chips by the pool. Little more economical. $3 standard hot dog. They have a restaurant on premises, but can't comment because we didn't eat there. Overall, it was a decent place. We have never been to a Jellystone and probably won't be back, just due to the price of it. The price of this place is absolutely over the top, and it's not really worth it in our opinion.Food & drinks: Very very expensive

The cost of $43 for swimming seems incredibly high to me. I frequently remember similar establishments shutting down because of high entrance fees like this. The lake, putt-putt course, and water park are all rather small in size catering primarily to younger children, which is fine. However, I would strongly suggest adjusting the price to align with the available amenities and demographic of people. This was my first visit in a decade, and I must say it looks clean and nice. The blaring country music was annoying. I had my 3 teenagers accompanying me, and after a mere 3 hours, they were ready to leave.

Always a great time at clays park! We have been going here for at least 20 years, and now it’s even better than ever! All the new improvements to the park are amazing! We love to camp, or just spend a day at the waterpark. The staff is always wonderful and they always have great bands for entertainment! My kids always ask when can we go back 😁 couldn’t recommend it enough!

The park has lots to offer and our campsite was great. However the bathrooms were down right awful. Also we rented a golf cart for all 4 nights and it was the biggest waste of money. They governed them to only go 5mph which seems reasonable except literally everyone in the park was passing us it went so slow. It took a half hour both ways if we needed something from the camper. So do not rent unless medically necessary you can walk faster or take your car everywhere

We recently spent a day at the park and had a blast. Fun will be had by all, no matter the age! I was a bit thrown by cost of admission, as well as food prices, but there truly is so much to do, plus, we packed tons of our own food and drinks. Parking is right next to the attractions, with numerous handicap spots. The whole park is wheelchair accessible, though the sand will be a challenge. There's a main shop with goodies and souvenirs, which has a rooftop bar, large bathrooms with showers located underneath, an ice cream stand, and hot food stand. Life vests are located here as well, and they are required for the lake. There's another bathroom by the pool area and lifeguards on duty through out. We spent most of our time at the pool and waterpark. Alcohol is not permitted, and coolers will be checked upon entering the gate. There are plenty of tables and chairs with large umbrellas, lounge chairs with side tables, as well as cabanas you can rent- that offer more shade, a patio sofa and mini fridge. The pool is large, yet a great depth for kids, it has basketball hoops and was the perfect temp. We brought our own life vests for the kids, and some people had their own small floats. The waterpark water was freezing, but the kids loved it and there was so much to keep them busy, including 3 types of slides for all ages. The splash pad area was nice and clean, and would be great for smaller toddlers. The hot tub is for ages 14 and up. I could have spent the day in there. As for the lake, we only took a quick dip on the kids side, though it was fun to watch the older kids and adults go down the giant slide, fly across the rings and jump from the diving inflatables. We tried the jump pillows, but it was scolding hot on our feet. There's so much more to do, like canoeing, volleyball, mini golf, gaga ball, mining for gems, walking trails etc. You won't have a chance for boredom. Come prepared and plan for this to be an all day outing.Safety: Lifeguards located through out. Life vests required in the lake.Food & drinks: Food and drinks are very pricey.

They had zero activities all week in mid august all while still charging resort style fees. They are still sending emails claiming daily activities when there are none and pool/splash pad/lake aren’t open all week until Friday at 4pm. This came as a surprise to us and all the guests we encountered. State parks have more activities during the week at about a 1/4 of the price!

So disappointed. Camped here for the first time 4 years ago. Had a great time. I was shocked by how clean and nice the bathrooms were at a campground. That is a big selling point for us. Last year (when Jellystone bought) they started going downhill, this year they were literally unusable for most of our stay. They were not cleaned all weekend after being destroyed. There was even food on the floor of multiple showers. The activities were misleading and unorganized. It's just a bunch of teenagers running things, with little to no direction from adults. I don't think I saw any adult employees throughout our stay. The quiet hours are not at all enforced. People who own golf carts there have no common curiosity towards campers. We were constantly blinded by ridiculously bright LED headlights while sitting around our campsite at night. They were driving (way faster than than 5mph) around with sound systems way past 11pm.Unfortunately this is our last year staying here. I know, especially now that Jellystone owns it, my review won't matter and nothing will change because they are too big to care.

Clay's Resort is a nice place. However, thus was our first stay there. We have a travel trailer and reserved a pull thru lot on the lake. When we arrived, we were given a map to our lot. No employee led us to our lot and we made a wrong turn and had to ask the cashier at the general store how to get to our lot. We arrived to the lot along with 2 other campers and neither of us knew exactly how we were supposed to pull the camper in. When reviewing the lot on your website, it showed the lot facing the lake vertically but the lot wasn't long enough to pull in that way. After trying to call someone at the campground with no answer, due to they were closed (!!), i went to find help at the restaurant and no one knew who to call saying everyone was off for the day! It was around 7:00 pm. Finally, a seasonal camper overheard the conversation and showed us how to pull in lateral to the lake. No customer service for a jellystone park? You'd think there'd be someone there to assist campers until 9:00 pm! The campground is nice but needs customer service through the evening!

Called to try and reserve a site for me and my wife's anniversary. I've been coming to clays Park since i was a kid. I was informed they don't let anyone bring any golf cart in for weekend camping. Are you kidding me? The size of this property and I can't bring a golf cart that's been there many of times before? I have disc issues and can't walk long distances. Guess things change and not always for the better. I'll be looking elsewhere.

First off, i would like to state that if you are considering coming here with your own camper then go for it. The camper sights are tight but clean. If you plan on renting cabins i would reconsider. I arrived sunday July 23 as part of a large reunion. We had booked in January and planned our schedules accordingly. I was the first of the party to arrive and got to the cabins and had an easy check in right at 4pm (check in time). When i got to the cabin the cleaning crew had just finished. There was a belt hanging clearly in the second bedroom and pieces of lettuce still in the fridge. I really didn’t think much of it and laughed about it with the people staying in my cabin. Throughout the week we made note that no one was in or out of the cabins and finally the rest of our group showed up that thursday July 27. Come check in time they were told they were not allowed to get into their cabins because they were yet to be cleaned. However the check in gave our family keys to the cabin and one of the families let themselves in to put food away from their car and the cabin had clearly just not been at all cleaned from when the last renters stayed. So at the very least the cabin sat vacant for 4 days without anyone cleaning them from the last renters. I called front desk and asked for management and individual very politely said that the person i was looking for was unavailable but i could describe the situation to her, so i explain everything and was put on hold so she could contact cleaning crew. She promptly got back with me and said (i will paraphrase) “explain what all needs cleaned in the cabin and tell the cleaners you were unhappy with how long it took them to clean the cabins.” Our group did not receive apologized to for the late check in. I don’t even mind the idea that our family checked in late. I just think that it’s disgusting that cabins sit for that long without cleaners coming to inspect them between visits.

We first tried a comfort station. Toilet was clogged and throw up on another.Times posted for attractions were different than actual times leading to confusion.General organization, accuracy, and accessibility of times and schedules was difficult to find. Some signage may help. They were out of food at the concession stand (pizza, fries, chicken fingers, etc. Basically everything)The General store was a bit pricey. Head downtown 9 minutes for dollar general giant eagle etc.The sink water, toilet water and showers all had very strong Sulphur odors. We tried another bathroom later. Toilets were left a wreck, sharp screws on the walls and soap dispenser was missing. Some group of people showed up and started blasting rap music and having a party for a few hours hanging out on the cabins for a few hours into the night then left which was a little odd they didn't camp...Rooms: Beds obviously weren't luxury but were kinda on the cheap(hard, bars in them) I've slept more comfortable on grass and dirt in a sleeping bag.Walkability: Somewhat spread out.Can walk to activities. They have golf cart rentals....Food & drinks: They were out of a lot of stuff.John Os hours are odd. Definitely not what's posted online.Noteworthy details: Playgrounds weren't good. If you have a car Jackson school district has a good one. There's also a park out side jellystone on Manchester.

I went to Clay's for Country Fest and it was an all around great experience. Our cabin was clean and ready for us upon our arrival. The staff was friendly and knew all the answers to all of our questions no matter where we were in the park. While we were there our gas detector went off and the park maintenance staff was quickly on it making sure to help us! The detector was faulty and nothing was wrong with our cabin so the staff was super helpful in calming our nerves and making us feel very comfortable in our surroundings.Normally music festivals are not well maintained with trash but this team did a great job at clean up throughout the day as well as at the end of each day. The overall experience our group had was one to remember. The security staff at the pool was attentive and made sure only the appropriate guests were granted access, Sara at John O's was extremely fun and helpful during our lunch. Stephanie and Shellby also did a great job at making sure everything with our check in went smoothly and we felt as welcomed as possible. When we had an issue with our wristband Stephanie was quick to rescue us!I would love to return to this park during a normal operating stay outside of Country Fest! Thank you Clay's Jellystone Park and thank you to all their staff!
