Amazing new owner! The tanks are all very well kept and you can tell he cares about the fish and whatnot. It’s currently all salt water but there’s more coming soon so I’ll definitely be back for it. More than just fish too; filters, foods, media and more. Highly recommend!

Visited Shark Bait for the first time a week ago and got some clean up crew snails and hermits, and goby/shrimp pair. A week later, all new and previous life in my tank is thriving. Store was clean and well set up, with good care obvious in all tanks with a great salt water selection and a fresh water section also. Manager was helpful answering and asking just the right amount of questions back. I look forward to going back to Shark Bait! We just got our Axolotl from shark bait. Not to many places sell these. And the ones that do there gills don't look as healthy as the one we got. Not to mention there staff (not shark bait) was way to busy to answer our questions. Which we had alot of. My 9 year daughter has wanted one for a year. The sales staff at Shark Bait Adam, was very knowledgeable friendly and so very helpful. Advised our family how to care for an axolotl and also help to ease out minds as whether or not we could care for an Axolotl. Due to his kindness you could tell he and the other staff members loved fish and amphibians so we also got some other fish to go into our other tank. We will definitely be back. Stop in and check them out they will work with you.

First time stopping in. After spending time with family, thought we would check a new fish shop and see what they had. Place was clean, help was awesome and very sociable. Did not get his name but conversation was great. Now let’s hope the coral holds and all stays well!!

They upsold me a $3500 tank for $6000, I willingly did it because they’re local. Mistake. They talked me into overpriced fish I don’t want, that I’m now stuck with. They only care about new customers. Once they have your money you’re irrelevant to them. Tim’s cool, but the manager hides their mistakes from the owner. Massive crapshoot, look literally anywhere else.Edit: If you try to remove this review I will not only air more out, but I have hundreds of accounts to repost.Double edit: This is 10 months after installation.

Stopped in today. Sales people there were more interested in their conversations and phones than they were about paying customers entering the store. We walked thru and left. We won't be back.We hear there is a new aquatics store coming to the area. Can't wait.

Tanks labeled incorrectly and animals in unsafe setups. Axolotls with no filter and a heater, and Bettas in Mcdonald's cups? This place seemed better last time I was here couple of months ago.

Save your money!!!! They had been maintaining our tank for about two months,at that point then we bought 4 saltwater fish from this placeThey died within 48 hrs they cost me $400, it also killed the 5 fish that I have had in the tank for four year.When i contacted them they said don’t worry we will make it right, i said ok, this went on from close to two months,now they have stopped responding.Please don’t waste your money at this place,their fish are sick and will affect your tank and previously owned fishNext going to the BBB

Beautiful little store. Fish are kept very nicely in their correct tank standards. Although the associate that was working didn’t interact with us what so ever and sat on his phone the whole time. I would definitely recommend this place if you’d like some beautiful well kept fish though!!

Had written a 5 star…now completely the opposite. Bad communication, lies about warranties, just bad business. Find a manager that knows what he’s doing…you got a chance. Otherwise, these bad reviews will just keep going. What a shame.

First time customer. I loved how i was treated. I placed an order online for saltwater critters. When i came in, chuck helped me. I think Chuck is the nicest most patient person i have ever delt with. Thank you kind sir. Moving on to the store....it was bright and vibrant. Their tanks are maintained and beautiful. This is a great store for aquarium lovers. They have freshwater and saltwater fish. And they have a variety of food and products for water care. David was very friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable. This was a great experience. They have a small building, but I was very impressed by how many items were inside. They have a handicap ramp, but no automatic doors. But David open the door for me. Will be back soon.

Be cautious when buying from this business. I ordered a 90 gallon complete saltwater setup from this store and what a disaster. Took them 3 times to get the back of the tank painted black correctly. Aquarium has scratches on both sides and major scratches on front. (Probably from being moved so many times) Most of the equipment is sub standard. ( I have sold and replaced 75% of what they sold me). After months of trying to get a resolution to the major scratches on the front of the tank the manager said he would replace it. Unfortunately he said I would have to pick it up at the store. I paid for them to deliver and setup the tank but he refused to deliver and setup the replacement tank. Also the stand has damage as well as the canopy lid is warping. I guess after spending over $5,000.00 with this store I am stuck with a sub standard product. I would not recommend doing business with them. If the store responds to this they will more than likely blame the person that is no longer with them. I bought the setup from the store not the person that is no longer with them.

I called about an issue i was having with my fish and I'm new to the hobby they were so wonderful told me what to do to save my fish, and we were able to save them all. We also purchased a gold severum here over a month ago and the fish is doing great. We are going to start a saltwater tank so we will be back soon!

Purchased 3 fish from here, a Rabbit fish, clown trigger, and a dwarf lionfish. The rabbit fish was in their main display tank and is doing great. I think he has even grown a bit in the month that I have had him. They were nice enough to order me a clown trigger and lionfish, however, the first lionfish they ordered died at the store and they never told me, so I made a 50 minute drive for nothing. The second Lionfish died 3 days after getting him home. The Clown Trigger also became very sick the day after I got him home. Pretty sure he contracted Brooklynella, maybe as a result from traveling. I treated him for a couple weeks and he started doing better, but then took a turn for the worst and passed away. $250 down the drain. Thankfully, I quarantined them and did not put them in my DT. So if somebody orders fish from them, be sure to quarantine which is the proper procedure anyway. And yes I have been keeping fish my entire life and understand the nitrogen cycle.Staff was knowledgeable and friendly besides not telling me about the first Lionfish. I have not contacted them about my experience.
