We shop here weekly. Since the self-checkouts were put in, they try to force customers into those lanes. Then, when customers complain about long lines, the managers are nowhere to be found. I feel bad for the cashiers who are dealing with the nonsense. It's about time to switch our weekly shopping destination.

Can't wait for this cashier Karen H to start her new job like she was talking about to some customer in front of me because she has the most rotten attitude and I see why Marc's isn't giving her this raise she's complaining about not getting. I would give 5 stars as I love buying Better Oats Steel Cut Protein Oatmeal here but this Karen lady attitude is the worst. Makes sense why her name is Karen haha someone pray for her

I have been shopping at North Canton marcs for many years and have always loved the place but they totally messed up on the self check out setup it's a terrible disaster PLEASE fix the problem or I'll be shopping elsewhereMight want to ask ALDI'S for advice😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Two days ago,(09/28/18) I had been browsing the cheeses and had noticed that the Sartori grated parmesan (4 bags in all) had expired 09/02/18. I left them showing the date in hopes that once someone did recovery, they would be pulled and discarded. Well, I went back yesterday (09/29/18)to get a few small items. I checked to see if they were still there and...much to my disappointment, there they sat. Not only that, but unfortunately someone had purchased one. showed them to an employee at the meat counter. She told me that they "didn't handle that. There are guys that check it at the END OF EACH NIGHT." So... really? End of each night? Why and how are they still there? Also, their bathrooms are embarrassingly filthy. ALWAYS CHECK THE EXPIRY, PEOPLE. 👎👎👎👎👎👎

Done with Marc's (and not just the N. Canton location). A few weeks ago, I went to an outdoor concert, and I saw a cool collapsible chair at Marc's. It had a little table fold-out table with a couple cupholders, and was more comfortable than the regular canvas chairs. It was $30, and it was the only item I purchased there that day. I used chair the that night, and I enjoyed it. I used it 2 more times just sitting around in my backyard, and that 3rd time the back canvas piece just ripped right off the frame, which ruined the chair. I'm not that big of a guy, and I wasn't doing anything other than just sitting there, so it was CLEARLY defective. I took it back to Marc's, without a paper receipt BUT with the credit card statement line item. I like the chair, so I just wanted to swap it out, wasn't looking to return it for a refund or credit. I have done similar things before at all kinds of stores with no problem at all. The person behind the counter said "Nope, Heather (whoever Heather is) doesn't allow returns or exchanges without a paper receipt". Okay. Who keeps paper receipts in 2022? So I left the chair on the counter and left. I wasn't mean, I just shook my head and walked out. So, Heather, I will never shop at yours, or any other Marc's ever again. Why would I? There's Aldi and Meijer coming, Acme is practically next door, and Giant Eagle is like 8 minutes away. I'm also telling my entire family never to shop at Marc's ever again. You literally jumped over dollars to get to dimes, only this will cost Marc's thousands of dollars, because my whole family shops there (not anymore). And for what? $31.94. I don't normally go "Karen mode", but I was so shocked by this policy that I felt compelled to speak out to possibly save others from making the same mistake I did.

Really gross inside this store. The deli was disgusting and the were cutting meat and cheese on the same slicer because they were too lazy to clean another one. Some of the meat coolers were warm and filthy. The health department should shut that place down.

A great store with a bevy of interesting things to buy. Some items go quickly and are priced to move. Lots of variety. Food galore. A great pharmacy never lets you down. Every Marc's has some different things in their "fun aisles". Long live Marc's. Check out their socks!

This place has a nice variety. The prices are not as good as some of the other Marc's stores. The store that was in Belden Village was the best pricing I had ever seen. Since it has been moved, it has raised its prices, so this place is probably comparable. Their alcohol selection is not as vast as it could be, and a lot of it is not in coolers, so you have to cool it down yourself when you get home. Just keep this in mind if you plan on having a party or something like that.

I have shopped at this store for over 8 years I spend nearly 200 a week here. Came in today was told I had to wear a mask. Unbelievable! I just went to acme and spent more on groceries because they do not fringe upon my American given rights! Not to add half the time the coolers are broke and your out of half the stuff I need

I was in today april 5th and the cashier on the Express register was fabulous. The gentlemen in front of me in line was very rude to her and she continued to help him. He was having trouble with his debit card working she continued to talk to help him. I noticed the card was in backwards so I told her it was backwards. Then he didnt know his pin she helped him threw it. After he left and was rude to her. She wasn't frazzled like most people would be she kept a great attitude. Before I left I told her thank you stay safe and that she was a beautiful soul.

This store has decent prices and a great deli but for a food store it is dirty, especially the floors, and lately no one is minding the produce. There is little monitoring of expiration dates on things like bottled salad dressings and sometimes mayonnaise. The stores at Hartville and Belden are brighter and cleaner.

I went to the customer service counter to make a purchase that required an ID I was with my wife (we are legal guardians of each other under state and federal law) I presented my id and my wife did not have hers. Instead of saying I'm sorry I need both of your ids. She simply turned her back and said okay and walked away with no explanation. I asked what was going on and she said she wouldn't sell anything to me. I love Marc's but I think I will take my business to acme for now on since they will have the courtesy of communication. I would like an apology from the manager.

The cashier was rude and VERY unhelpful.I brought my own bags.Telling her about an experience of the day before. Bag was over packed and broke.Braking everything inside it. She refused to bag my new order.Started cleaning totally ignoring me.Then up and walked away.

Been going to marcs for many years. Our N Canton store is clean, and well merchandised. Prices are still better than the groceries around here. Their staff is very friendly and willing to help.

Every time I have to go to this Marcs I am always shocked by how slow and incompetent the cashiers are, thus making myself and other customers wait much longer than we should. Today I was behind just one woman and it took me about 20 minutes to checkout. I will continue to avoid shopping there as much as possible.

Great prices. Check out slow slow slow! I am a senior citizen and no help with heavy items to be scanned or loading bagged purchases back into cart. Plenty of staff, but little customer service.

Typical slightly older store. Great prices on groceries, especially soft drinks, bakery products are okay.
