This place has solid stuff and nice people working there. That being said, the check out experience is the bane of my experience there and will likely be the reason my family cancels our membership.At Sam's Club, and a lot of normal smaller grocery stores, they have the option to check out via app. I wish you guys would adopt that option. Instead, if we go to self check out, we still have to show our card again. If we go to a cashier, that's a whole separate issue, only to have a person counting and touching every item, one by one.Lastly, why are the gas prices not in a visible place?It's 2024, you can do better.

So, I am going to be honest. This is my first time in a wholesale warehouse in probably 8 years. But I was incredibly disappointed in this visit. The staff (with the exception of a friendly membership lady who lied to us, and one sample guy who was extremely polite) were not friendly. The prices were nothing that made us think we need to pay to shop here. And even on things we got a questionable deal on, they didn't sell those items in bulk. The concession area prices are great for quick service food but they sell Pepsi which I'm not a fan of. We only saw bulk soda in cans, no two liters or bag in box. Our subscription was a gift and I don't see us renewing in a year. This was just one visit though so we will see.

John and older lady do the worst interviews. They were so unprofessional. Not even mentioning the positions and what they entailed. All they cared about was someone to push carts! Lmao Save that for the young kids you under qualified morons! You dont even try to hear someones back ground or history. So unprofessional. And the excessive cologne wearing cannot be good for customers John. So glad I avoided this disaster!

I am in agreement with other shoppers. Most of their stuff is priced for people with endless money. They need to calm down about the membership cards. The lady at the door was horribly rude about me having a temporary card. I get it, it was expired but no need to brow beat someone about it. Then having to show your card AGAIN before you can check out? Come on. That is the precise reason I don't shop at Sam's, now Costco will be the same. They are not so great that I feel like they have a reason to check your card like that. Give me a break.

Don’t work here. They don’t care about your experience. They just want you to take 25 hrs a week and be happy with it. I’m looking for another place to work. They are all over the place. So many managers yet they can’t delegate task. Don’t drink the kool-aide.

The details of my own experience is that the professionalism from Stephanie and Luke in Optical is phenomenal.Stephanie has a sureness about her that puts people at ease. I have seen first-hand with her years of experience and knowledge, take a Costco to member all the way through the task of a glasses fitting/purchase and make it as pleasant as can be.Luke has a vivacious personality, he cares for Costco members with gusto, and has a comradery with them that treats them and makes them feel like family.I have purchased my glasses here and would not go anywhere else: I cannot beat the prices or the Excellent Service.

Love our New Canton location! Checkout staff are super helpful. Of course, we enjoy the food samples, it helps us try new items. Then decide whether to purchase. We have our favorites.Store is very clean. Yikes!!! We find ourselves going weekly now :)

I really like Costco for the selection of prepared foods they offered. The store is clean and well staffed. Their prices are comparable to Sam's Club. I do prefer shopping at Sam's Club because of their Scan & Go app.

Prices way too high for a place you pay to get into and it only takes visa supposedly to save you money. Prices are more than BJs and Sam’s. Plus they carry the awkward milk carton you can’t open one handed. Kid in hand, you need one handed.

I never thought I’d review a Costco, but I hate this place so so much. Every single time I go, I’m made to feel like a criminal when I am just trying to buy water. Your loss prevention strategy needs some work, because treating every customer like they’re trying to take advantage of you and doing something wrong is not a smart strategy. Last time I went I had to show my ID 3. Yes 3 separate times to check out. And the associates were unpleasant about it. Then checking every single item on the receipt on the way out backing up the exit line. It happens every single time I go. Never a pleasant experience, back to Sam’s I go.

Did you know this is the largest Costco in the Midwest? It's nicely organized reminds me of the Sandy Costco in Ut. We did stop in the food court and tried their new roast beef sandwich. My only complaint on that is I wish it was a hot sandwich but the flavor was delicious! Mango smoothie was also really good.Turkey sandwich is even better!!

Sam’s vs Costco. Sam’s you can actually grocery shop. Take a list and buy. I compare Costco to a fancy bin store. Walk in to see what they have, maybe buy something, maybe not. We have walked out of Costco many times with nothing in hand. Prices are higher at Costco on just about everything we compared unless Costco is trying to get rid of it fast. Sam’s Club will check your membership card at the entrance door, then you can pay at the cashier, self check or using the phone app. Show your receipt at the exit door and you’re done. Costco checks at the entry door, then in order to get to the self checkout, you literally have to be hassled by the picture police. Costco literally pays 2 -3 people to look at your membership card picture before you can check out. I don’t need to be hassled at check out for a membership I paid for to get in the building. I truly don’t understand the cult following Costco has. Maybe Costco just missed the mark on this particular store.

They have a nice added variety to my shopping mix. I can see a value of having a Costco account. Love all of the Cauliflower themed foods. If someone would ask me to give the vibe of the store I would have to say International flavor.

We like the food but the discounts aren’t really any better than Sam’s or BJs and the in/out process is ridiculous. I had to show my membership card 3 TIMES just to enter and checkout, then have to have my receipt checked to leave. It’s over the top and I can’t imagine how long this takes during busier hours. Def won’t be renewing.

It's like a warehouse blg was built, and they just threw the stuff in where it fit. I hate the fact that their isles are never labeled, and u have to walk up and down every aisle just to find stuff. Barely see "employees " walking around for help, and the sample ppl never know anything because they always say they don't work there. I brought this to the Mgr attention before, and they said it's because they constantly move things.That's the problem. Stop moving stuff and label your isles, and maybe I would consider paying a membership. As for right now, no ty. I can walk aimlessly for free in a park.

This Costco is lot bigger than the ones in Strongsville, Mayfield or in Hudson. Lots of parking, items and same friendly customer service.

They Only take Visa or debt cards. If I want to put my purchases on a different card that is my decision. There is no verity among brands. Everything that is priced well is Costco brand. There is next to no zero sugar options.

I love Costco, but don't buy tires at this location. We had tires installed, and less than 10 miles after leaving one of them went flat on the interstate. We had to be towed back to Costco where they initially tried to tell us it was our fault and that we somehow damaged the side wall. They then realized that they had installed the wrong tires on our car. They apologized and gave us a gift card, but still tried to say that it wasn't their fault that it happened and that we probably hit something.

I'm glad I tried it before dropping Sam's Club. Sam's Club has better products and better prices. Lady working the self check out was rude after telling me to use self check out. Shouldn't get rude when you are having customers doing their job.

Instead of having all your employees stand around the self checkouts hassling people, maybe you should open more registers. I showed my card when I got in. Why do I need to show you my card at the self-checkout? Maybe instead of all the girls standing around the self checkouts hassling people put them on a regular checkout. You make people feel like their thiefs hovering over them at the self-checkout like we're stealing something. Then as you're leaving the store, you have to check my receipt again. You want me to do your job for you? Checking my own merchandise out so when someone is at the self checkout leave them alone. Apparently they don't want to be bothered by a cashier. Why they're at the self-checkout. And I will be canceling my Costco membership?

I am struggling to find a positive thing to say 🤔 Its well lit. Nice parking lot. Spacious store.That's it. We got a visitors pass and with that we can't buy anything. LolWe just get to walk around and see what they don't have. Never did find frozen potatoes, commonly known as french fries.Everything cost the same or more than BJ's and Sams Club. The membership is expensive.Some stuff Amazon carries. Some stuff is name brand and more than walmart without the need of a flu shot. The house brand stuff wasn't woth buying. I feel bad for everyone who paid all that money.Bj's isn't perfect but it's a better value. Well save yourself and shop at Walmart because Sam's club is the same thing with yearly dues.All the people who want to keep up with the Joneses will shop at Costco no matter what mine or anyone review says.I wouldn't shop there if the membership was free....

Lots of friendly help at Costco. On Saturdays the free samples are bountiful!Gas is always cheaper than elsewhere. The only negative is that at their gas pumps they have no way to clean your windows.

I always loved shopping at Costco until I started shopping at the North Canton store. A number of the employees there are downright rude and mouthy. Also, I understand showing your membership card on the way in but to DEMAND I.D. to check out is insulting! Shame on you North Canton Costco!!!

It's new, it's clean, and it's not as busy as our last Costco. So glad they built one closer. Recommend the rotisserie chicken. Staff is friendly and helpful.
